A light beam with an ideal wavefront that is transmitted or reflected from an object is modified by different characteristics of the object such as shape, refractive index, density, or temperature. Wavefront sensing therefore yields valuable information about the system or the changes happening to the system. A new method for wavefront sensing using a random amplitude mask and a phase retrieval method based on the Rayleigh-Sommerfeld wave propagation equation is described. The dynamic behavior of supramolecular organic frameworks (SOFs) based on the rigid tetra-4-(4-pyridyl)phenylmethane ( TPPM) organic tecton has been elucidated through 3D electron diffraction, X-ray powder diffraction and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis. The SOF undergoes a reversible single-crystal-to-single-crystal transformation when exposed to vapours of selected organic solvents, moving from a closed structure with isolated small voids to an expanded structure with solvated channels along the b axis. The observed selectivity is dictated by the fitting of the guest in the expanded SOF, following the degree of packing coefficient. The effect of solvent uptake on TPPM solid-state fluorescence was investigated, evidencing a significant variation in the emission profile only in the presence of chloroform. 相似文献

Inclusion of polymethine cyanine dyes in the cavity of macrocyclic receptors is an effective strategy to alter their absorption and emission behavior in aqueous solution. In this paper, the effect of the host-guest interaction between cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) and a model trimethine indocyanine (Cy3) on dye spectral properties and aggregation in water is investigated. Solution studies, performed by a combination of spectroscopic and calorimetric techniques, indicate that the addition of CB[8] disrupts Cy3 aggregates, leading to the formation of a 1 : 1 host-guest complex with an association constant of 1.5×106 M−1. At concentrations suitable for NMR experiments, the slow formation of a supramolecular polymer was observed, followed by precipitation. Single crystals X-ray structure elucidation confirmed the formation of a polymer with 1 : 1 stoichiometry in the solid state. 相似文献

A new procedure for the speciation analysis of hydride forming elements using GFAAS as detector is proposed. The separation of the species is performed by HPLC and the eluent flow is merged with HCl and NaBH4 solutions moved by peristaltic pumps controlled by a flow injection apparatus. As the species emerges from the column, its respective hydride is formed and carried through the autosampler capillary to an Ir treated graphite tube pre-heated at 300 °C, where it is trapped. After the hydride collection, the autosampler arm is moved from the tube and atomization takes place. The sequence is repeated for the next emerging species. The feasibility of the system was evaluated for the speciation of As (III) and As (V) in waste water samples. The retention times were previously determined using a more concentrated mixed analytical solution and a quartz tube as atomizer. The analytical curves obtained by the proposed procedure showed similar slopes for both species as well as coefficient of regression better than 0.99. Limits of detection were 0.2 ng/mL for both species, 50 times better then the same assembly using a quartz tube atomizer. In the analysis of certified reference materials the sum of the As (III) and As (V) species concentrations were in close agreement with the arsenic concentration certified for total arsenic. 相似文献

A procedure for the direct GFAAS determination of Ni in petroleum samples using a solid sampling strategy is proposed. Palladium
was used as conventional modifier. Central composite design multivariate optimization defined the optimum temperature program
and the Pd mass, allowing calibration using aqueous analytical solution. The limit of detection (LOD) at the optimized conditions
was 0.23 ng of Ni, for typical sample masses between of 0.10 and 0.60 mg. Linearity at least up to 11 ng of Ni and a characteristic
mass of 45 pg were observed, defining a dynamic range between 0.52 and 110 μg g−1. Typical coefficients of variation (n = 10) in the analysis of oil reference materials were 7%. Method validation was performed both by the analysis of oil certified
reference materials and by comparison with an independent method (ASTM 5863-B). No statistically significant difference was
observed between obtained and expected values. The total determination cycle lasted 5 min, equivalent to a sample throughput
