The enantiomeric separation of a series of acidic pharmaceuticals (mostly nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) has been investigated in NACE systems using single-isomer amino beta-CD derivatives. The first part of this study consisted of the selection of the basic experimental conditions to separate efficiently the enantiomers of acidic drugs. Several parameters, such as the nature of the ionic BGE components, were studied and a methanolic solution of ammonium acetate containing the cationic CD was selected as BGE. A D-optimal design with 20 experimental points was then applied and the nature and concentration of the CD were found to have a significant effect on the enantiomeric resolution for all studied compounds. Resolution (R(s)) values were always higher with 6-monodeoxy-6-mono(3-hydroxy)propylamino-beta-CD (PA-beta-CD) compared to those obtained with 6-monodeoxy-6-mono(2-hydroxy)propylamino-beta-CD (IPA-beta-CD). However, the latter led to shorter migration times. Generic NACE conditions were then selected by means of the multivariate approach in order to obtain the highest R(s) values in a minimum amount of time. Finally, dependence of separation selectivity, resolution, as well as mobility difference on chiral selector concentration was discussed and binding constants with PA-beta-CD were estimated for the two enantiomers of one of the model compounds, suprofen in these NACE systems. 相似文献

LuAG:Ce single crystals with various activator concentrations were grown by the vertical Bridgman technique. Characterization of crystals was done in terms of actual doping level, macroscopic defects and degree of non-equivalent substitutions by Lu for Al in octahedral lattice sites. Scintillation measurements were performed using 2×2×8 mm3 shaped samples with Ce concentration in the range 0.05–0.55 at%. Essential improvement of performance was demonstrated in samples containing ≥0.2 at% of Ce; the light yield measured in LuAG:Ce (0.55 at%) was about 26000 ph/MeV, or close to that of LSO. 相似文献

The resolution of the reconstructed wave by a phase-retrieval method using a volume-speckle field depends on the aperture defined by the size of the CCD array. The use of a larger aperture is introduced by measuring the speckle field at two different positions in the transverse plane and stitching the measurements together. Improvements in the quality of reconstructions are demonstrated experimentally and by computer simulations. Quark fragmentation functions are studied with ≈3500 charged current events induced in the bubble chamber Gargamelle by neutrinos of the SPS wide band beam, with 〈Eν〉 ≈ 25 GeV. The Q2 and W2 regions covered by this experiment are Q2 ≈ 0–40 GeV2 and W2 ≈ 1–100 GeV2, the mean values being 〈Q2〉 = 6.5 GeV2, 〈W2〉 = 22GeV2. A correlation between the variables and is found in the data in the region Q2 = 1–10 GeV2, which can be explained in terms of higher twist effects. These effects reproduce the Q2 evolution of the non-singlet moments of the fragmentation function without any need for logarithmic terms. 相似文献

This paper reports on the interest for developing thin scintillating films deposited on various substrates for scintillation purposes. The first part will present some advantages of films for fundamental studies. Mainly they are helpful (when deposited on CaF 2 ) for spectroscopic measurements when absorption coefficient is very high (as for CeF 3 ) or when excitation energies are near the fundamental absorption edge. When deposited on silicon substrate, photoelectron spectroscopy may be performed without any charging effects. An iterative phase retrieval method is proposed, which uses a sequence of diffraction intensity patterns recorded at different wavelengths. This method has a rapid convergence, and a high immunity to noise and environmental disturbance. Chemical and structural effects in LuAlO3-Ce3+ single crystals grown by the Bridgman method were studied using spectral emission, x-ray, etching and optical techniques. The Ce concentration distribution was found to exhibit the normal freeze behavior with partition coefficient of 0,17. The expansion of the unit cell volume due to incorporation of Ce was measured. Dislocation etch pits were revealed on (010), (100) and (001) crystal faces. Thermal expansion behavior of LuAlO3 was studied along the major crystallographic axes in between the room temperature and 1000 °C. The scintillation performance of 5 × 5 × 10 mm3 samples was measured using a 662 keV gamma source with a shaping time of 1.2 μs. The light yield was increasing from 40% BGO to 70% BGO with increasing of the Ce3+ content from 0.13 at.% to 0.9 at.%. 相似文献

For a smooth projective surface X the finite dimensionality of the Chow motive h(X), as conjectured by Kimura, has several geometric consequences. For a complex surface of general type with p g = 0 it is equivalent to Bloch’s conjecture. The conjecture is still open for a K3 surface X which is not a Kummer surface. In this paper we prove some results on Kimura’s conjecture for complex K3 surfaces. If X has a large Picard number ρ = ρ(X), i.e. ρ = 19,20, then the motive of X is finite dimensional. If X has a non-symplectic group acting trivially on algebraic cycles then the motive of X is finite dimensional. If X has a symplectic involution i, i.e. a Nikulin involution, then the finite dimensionality of h(X) implies ${h(X) \simeq h(Y)}$ , where Y is a desingularization of the quotient surface ${X/\langle i \rangle }$ . We give several examples of K3 surfaces with a Nikulin involution such that the isomorphism ${h(X) \simeq h(Y)}$ holds, so giving some evidence to Kimura’s conjecture in this case. 相似文献

Laser-excited techniques were used to investigate the optical properties of bismuth germanate crystals. Absorption, reflectivity, excitation, emission, lifetime, time-resolved fluorescence, photoconductivity, thermally stimulated conductivity measurements were performed at various temperatures on single crystals of different origins.The absorption is shown to occur in bismuth and germanate centers while both intrinsic and perturbed Bi3+ ions together with impurities contribute to the total fluorescence.The emission mechanism at room temperature involves a thermally activated energy migration, and at low temperature localized emitting centers. Formation of deep holes in the wide emission band at room temperature reveals saturation effects on various luminescent centers, promoted by energy migration. Trapped exciton models are proposed to explain the excited state dynamics occurring at low and room temperature. 相似文献
