The results of modelling of the influence of photonic crystal on the performance of VCSEL-type semiconductor laser structure are shown and indicate that the use of those structures would significantly improve the working parameters of the devices. The method of fabrication of photonic crystals in the Bragg mirrors of GaAs/AlGaAs-based VCSELs is presented.  相似文献

The paper reports the results of numerical studies on the laser-driven acceleration of super-heavy ions by a multi-PW laser pulse of ultra-relativistic intensity attainable with the Extreme Light Infrastructure lasers currently being built in Europe. Using a multi-dimensional (2D3V) particle-in-cell code, it is shown that multi-GeV super-heavy (thorium) ion beams with an intensity of 10211022W/cm2, fluence 10171018cm?2 and time duration 20100fs can be produced from a sub-μm thorium target irradiated by a 150-J, 20-fs laser pulse with an intensity of 1023W/cm2. Such ion beams are impossible to obtain presently with the use of conventional RF-driven accelerators, so they can open the door to new areas of research in both nuclear and high energy-density physics.  相似文献

Faddeev calculations using the chiral three-nucleon force in next-to-next-to-next-to-leading-order show that this force is too weak to provide an explanation for the low-energy A y puzzle. The large discrepancy between data and theory for the neutron–neutron quasi-free-scattering cross section in low energy neutron–deuteron breakup requires a modification of the ${^{1}S_0}$ neutron–neutron force. We discuss the consequences that a bound ${^{1}S_0}$ state of two neutrons has on neutron–deuteron scattering observables. At higher energies we compare the solutions of the non-relativistic three-nucleon Faddeev equations with three-nucleon force included to the solutions of its Poincaré invariant version.  相似文献

This paper presents the methods of fabricating narrow parallel submicrometric stripes in silicon dioxide and a resist layer. The experiments were conducted by two techniques: double patterning lithography and double exposure lithography. In addition to the above mentioned processes, mask translation was applied. For all conducted experiments, chrome masks and a 405 nm line of the high pressure mercury lamp of an MA-56 Mask Aligner System were used. The main aim of the performed tests was to establish the utility and the possible applications of the methods used.  相似文献

Positron binding by the HCN molecule was studied within a modified adiabatic approximation. This approach, in which the positron is treated as a light pseudonucleus with fractional charge, leads to the binding energy of 0.65?mHartree. Using effective positron mass which reproduces the Quantum Monte Carlo binding energy gives an estimation of the two-photon annihilation rate of e +HCN, equal to 0.091?ns?1.  相似文献

Symmetrical triblock semifluorinated n-alkane, di(perfluorohexyl)hexane of the formula F(CF2)6(CH2)6(CF2)6F (abbreviated F6H6F6), has been synthesised and investigated at the air/water interface. Our results show for the first time that this unusual film-forming material, completely hydrophobic in nature and possessing no polar group, is capable of stable film formation at the free water surface. The surface pressure–area isotherm of the studied compound exhibited two regions: corresponding to monotonous pressure rise, followed by a pseudo-plateau region. Visualisation of film structure with Brewster angle microscope (BAM) proved the formation of domains within the pseudo-plateau region. A closer insight into the structure of these domains with atomic force microscope (AFM) proved their ordered, circular shape. The average area of F6H6F6 domain was found to depend on surface pressure value, as it is 4.98 ± 1.75 μm2 at π = 1.2 mN/m to 16.54 ± 0.31 μm2 at π = 1.7 mN/m. Following performed quantum-chemical calculations, it can be concluded that the observed surface aggregates from F6H6F6 are formed by linear conformers with shifted CF and CH parts. The calculated domain thickness is between 20 and 21 Å, which perfectly agrees with the experimental value estimated from AFM measurements (20.3 ± 1.4 Å).  相似文献

A new, physically more plausible definition of a fuzzy quantum logic is proposed. It is shown that this definition coincides with the previously studied definition of a fuzzy quantum logic; therefore it defines objects which are traditional quantum logics with ordering sets of states. The new definition is expressed exclusively in terms of fuzzy set operations which are generated by connectives of multiple-valued logic studied by ukasiewicz at the beginning of the 20th century. Therefore, the logic of quantum mechanics is recognized as a version of infinite-valued ukasiewicz logic.  相似文献

High-spin states of the 44Ca nucleus populated in the 68 MeV 18O + 30Si reaction have been studied in a γ-γ-recoil coincidence experiment. The level scheme of 44Ca has been extended up to 12.2 MeV. In particular, the negative-parity band has been identified with the highest I = 13- level at 10.6 MeV. An extended mean-field model is presented that describes states of different isospin in odd-odd and even-even nuclei. Excitation energies of the T = 1 states in even-even as well as T = 0 and T = 1 states in odd-odd N = Z nuclei are calculated. It is shown that the structure of these states can be determined in a consistent manner when both isoscalar and isovector pairing collectivity as well as isospin projection (treated here within the isocranking approximation) are taken into account. In particular, in odd-odd N = Z nuclei, the interplay between quasiparticle excitations (relevant for the case of T = 0 states) and isorotations (relevant for the case of T = 1 states) explains the near degeneracy of these states.  相似文献
