The coordination behaviour of a series of pyridyl azamacrocyclic ligands, some of them containing cyanomethyl and cyanoethyl pendant-arms, towards Mn(II) ion was studied. All the complexes were characterized by microanalysis, LSI mass spectrometry, IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy and magnetic measurements. Crystal structures of [MnL1][MnBr4] (1), [MnL3][MnBr4] · 2CH3CN (3), [Mn2L5Br4] · 2CH3CN (5) and [Mn2L6Br4] (6) complexes have been determined. The X-ray studies show the presence of an ionic mixed octahedral-tetrahedral complex for 1 and 2, with the manganese ion of the cation complex, endomacrocyclicly coordinated by the six nitrogen donor atoms from the macrocyclic backbone in a distorted octahedral geometry. Instead, the complexes 5 and 6 are dinuclear, and both manganese ions are coordinated by one pyridinic and two amine nitrogen atoms from the macrocyclic backbone and two bromide ions, being the geometry around the metal better described as distorted square pyramidal. In all cases, the nitrile pendant-arms do not show coordination to the metal ion. 相似文献
In this study, a new modulator that is simple, robust and presents low operation costs, was developed. This modulator uses compressed air to cool two small portions in the first centimeters of the second chromatographic column of a comprehensive multidimensional gas chromatography (GC × GC) system. The results show a variation in the peak area less than 3 and 5% to alkanes and pesticides, respectively. The standard deviations for the retention times in the first and second dimension are around 0.05 min and 0.05 s for all the compounds. The system was optimized with n-alkanes. The GC × GC system proposed was applied in the determination of pyrethroid pesticides (bifenthrin, cypermethrin, deltamethrin, fenvalerate, esfenvalerate, cis- and trans-permethrin) in grape samples. Samples were extracted by the mini-Luke modified method and pesticides were quantified by comprehensive multidimensional gas chromatography with micro electron-capture detection (μECD). The values of method limit of quantification (LOQ) were 0.01–0.02 mg kg−1 for all studied pyrethroid and the values of recovery were between 94.3 and 115.2%, with good precision (RSD < 18.4%), demonstrating that the performance of the total method consisting of a modified Luke extraction method and determination by GC × GC-μECD are satisfactory. This study also showed that the system using a modulator with a double jet of compressed air has the potential for application in the analysis of a wider range of pesticide residues in other commodities since it provides low values of LOQ with acceptable accuracy and precision. 相似文献
A method for the rapid trace analysis of 24 residual pesticides in apple juice by multidimensional gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (MD-GC/MS) using dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) was developed and optimized. Several parameters of the extraction procedure such as type and volume of extraction solvent, type and volume of dispersive solvent and salt addition were evaluated to achieve the highest yield and to attain the lowest detection limits. The DLLME procedure optimized consists in the formation of a cloudy solution promoted by the fast addition to the sample (5 ml) of a mixture of carbon tetrachloride (extraction solvent, 100 μl) and acetone (dispersive solvent, 400 μl). The tiny droplets formed and dispersed among the aqueous sample solution are further joined and sedimented (85 μl) in the bottom of the conical test tube by centrifugation. Once extracted, all the 24 pesticides were directly injected and separated by a dual GC column system, comprising a short wide-bore DB-5 capillary column with low film thickness connected by a Deans switch system to a second chromatographic narrower column, with identical stationary phase. The instrumental setting used, in combination with carefully optimized operational fast GC and MS parameters, markedly decreased the retention times of the targeted analytes. The total chromatographic run was 8 min. Mean recoveries for apple juice spiked at three concentrations ranged from 60% to 105% and the intra-repeatability ranged from 1% to 21%. The limits of detection of the 24 pesticides ranged from 0.06 to 2.20 μg/L. In 2 of a total of 28 analysed samples were found residues of captan, although at levels below the maximum limit legal established. 相似文献
The fast sequential multi-element determination of Ca, Mg, K, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn in plant tissues by high-resolution continuum source flame atomic absorption spectrometry is proposed. For this, the main lines for Cu (324.754 nm), Fe (248.327 nm), Mn (279.482 nm) and Zn (213.857 nm) were selected, and the secondary lines for Ca (239.856 nm), Mg (202.582 nm) and K (404.414 nm) were evaluated. The side pixel registration approach was studied to reduce sensitivity and extend the linear working range for Mg by measuring at wings (202.576 nm; 202.577 nm; 202.578 nm; 202.580 nm; 202.585 nm; 202.586 nm; 202.587 nm; 202.588 nm) of the secondary line. The interference caused by NO bands on Zn at 213.857 nm was removed using the least-squares background correction. Using the main lines for Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn, secondary lines for Ca and K, and line wing at 202.588 nm for Mg, and 5 mL min− 1 sample flow-rate, calibration curves in the 0.1–0.5 mg L− 1 Cu, 0.5–4.0 mg L− 1 Fe, 0.5–4.0 mg L− 1 Mn, 0.2–1.0 mg L− 1 Zn, 10.0–100.0 mg L− 1 Ca, 5.0–40.0 mg L− 1 Mg and 50.0–250.0 mg L− 1 K ranges were consistently obtained. Accuracy and precision were evaluated after analysis of five plant standard reference materials. Results were in agreement at a 95% confidence level (paired t-test) with certified values. The proposed method was applied to digests of sugar-cane leaves and results were close to those obtained by line-source flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Recoveries of Ca, Mg, K, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn in the 89–103%, 84–107%, 87–103%, 85–105%, 92–106%, 91–114%, 96–114% intervals, respectively, were obtained. The limits of detection were 0.6 mg L− 1 Ca, 0.4 mg L− 1 Mg, 0.4 mg L− 1 K, 7.7 µg L− 1 Cu, 7.7 µg L− 1 Fe, 1.5 µg L− 1 Mn and 5.9 µg L− 1 Zn. 相似文献
Conventionally, chemical patterns of gunshot residues (GSR) can be used for identification of a suspect involved in criminal fire arm incidents. Furthermore, metals composition in GSR is well related with the ammunition brand. In Chile the two main ammunition brands used are FAMAE and CBC. Metals, such as Pb, Ba, Sb, Cu, Zn and Ca are common elements detected in both brands. This work describes the application of both conventional and chemometric analysis of data (Regularized Discriminant Analysis, RDA) for differentiation of ammunition brands according to the metal patterns of GSR collected from shooter individuals. Real samples of GSR were collected from hands (dorsal region) of both shooters and non-shooters. Metals were analyzed using the techniques Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES). By means of conventional plotting techniques for differentiation, such as binary and ternary plots, differences between the two brands are observed although without quantitative certainty. For the first time, applying chemometric analysis, such as regularized discriminant analysis (RDA), the investigated ammunition brands can be classified and differentiated correctly with 100% certainty. 相似文献
Ambient mass spectrometry—mass spectrometric analysis with no or minimal effort for sample preparation—has experienced a very rapid development during the last 5 years, with many different methods now available for ionization. Here, we review its range of applications, the hurdles encountered for its quantitative use, and the proposed mechanisms for ion formation. Clearly, more effort needs to be put into investigation of matrix effects, into defining representative sampling of heterogeneous materials, and into understanding and controlling the underlying ionization mechanisms. Finally, we propose a concept to reduce the number of different acronyms describing very similar embodiments of ambient mass spectrometry. 相似文献
We report a novel, fast, and automatic SPME-based method capable of extracting a small molecule-drug conjugate (SMDC) from biological matrices. Our method relies on the extraction of the drug conjugate followed by direct elution into an electrospray mass spectrometer (ESI-MS) source for qualitative and quantitative analysis. We designed a tool for extracting the targeting head of a recently synthesized SMDC, which includes acetazolamide (AAZ) as high-affinity ligand specific to carbonic anhydrase IX. Specificity of the extraction was achieved through systematic optimization. The design of the extraction tool is based on noncovalent and reversible interaction between AAZ and CAII that is immobilized on the SPME extraction phase. Using this approach, we showed a 330% rise in extracted AAZ signal intensity compared to a control, which was performed in the absence of CAII. A linear dynamic range from 1.2 to 25 μg/ml was found. The limits of detection (LOD) of extracted AAZ from phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) and human plasma were 0.4 and 1.2 μg/ml, respectively. This with a relative standard deviation of less than 14% (n = 40) covers the therapeutic range.
Quercetin is a flavonoid very well studied and has already entered clinical trials emerging as prospective anticancer drug candidate. In addition, quercetin has being reported to its free-radical scavenging activity and suggests potential uses for the prevention and treatment of pathologies as atherosclerosis, chronic inflammation, and others. However, quercetin is sparingly soluble in water, which may be responsible for its limited absorption upon oral administration. The solid dispersion of quercetin with polyvinylpyrrolidone Kollidon® 25 (PVP K25) suggests an interesting way to increase quercetin solubility, antioxidant activity, and consequently bioavailability. Then, the purpose of this study was to prepare solid dispersions of quercetin with PVP K25 and evaluate their thermal characterization, antioxidant activity and quercetin improvement solubility. For this purpose, quercetin-PVP K25 solutions were dried and quercetin-PVP K25 solids were obtained. The formation of quercetin-PVP K25 solid dispersion was evaluated by solubility studies, powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetry (TG), and antioxidant activity. It was observed that PVP K25 was able to provide quercetin clear aqueous solutions and that quercetin solubility was increased in a PVP K25 concentration dependent manner, improving solubility even 436-fold the pure quercetin. The results obtained with XRD, FT-IR, DSC, and TG demonstrated possible quercetin-PVP K25 solid dispersion formation. Besides, the antioxidant activity of the quercetin-PVP K25 solid dispersions dissolved in aqueous solution and pure quercetin dissolved in methanol showed IC50 value of 0.61 ± 0.03 and 1.00 ± 0.02 μg/mL, respectively, demonstrating that the solid dispersions presented a significant increase in antioxidant activity (P < 0.05). Putting results together, it was possible to conclude there was the formation of quercetin-PVP K25 solid dispersion. 相似文献
The preparation, crystal structure and magnetic properties of a new oxalate-containing copper(II) chain of formula {[(CH3)4N]2[Cu(C2O4)2] · H2O}n (1) [(CH3)4N+ = tetramethylammonium cation] are reported. The structure of 1 consists of anionic oxalate-bridged copper(II) chains, tetramethylammoniun cations and crystallization water molecules. Each copper(II) ion in 1 is surrounded by three oxalate ligands, one being bidentate and the other two exhibiting bis-bidenate coordination modes. Although all the tris-chelated copper(II) units from a given chain exhibit the same helicity, adjacent chains have opposite helicities and then an achiral structure results. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements of 1 show the occurrence of a weak ferromagnetic interaction through the oxalate bridge [J = +1.14(1) cm−1, the Hamiltonian being defined as H = –J ∑nmSi · Sj]. This value is analyzed and discussed in the light of available magneto-structural data for oxalate-bridged copper(II) complexes with the same out-of-plane exchange pathway. 相似文献
NiWO4 and ZnWO4 were synthesized by the polymeric precursor method at low temperatures with zinc or nickel carbonate as secondary phase.
The materials were characterized by thermal analysis (TG/DTA), infrared spectroscopy, UV–Vis spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction.
NiWO4 was crystalline after calcination at 350 °C/12 h while ZnWO4 only crystallized after calcination at 400 °C for 2 h. Thermal decomposition of the powder precursor of NiWO4 heat treated for 12 h had one exothermic transition, while the precursor heat treated for 24 h had one more step between
600 and 800 °C with a small mass gain. Powder precursor of ZnWO4 presented three exothermic transitions, with peak temperatures and mass losses higher than NiWO4 has indicating that nickel made carbon elimination easier. 相似文献
