Novel electron donor–acceptor–donor (D-A-D) compounds comprising dibenzo[a,j]phenazine as the central acceptor core and two 7-membered diarylamines (iminodibenzyl and iminostilbene) as the donors have been designed and synthesized. Investigation of their physicochemical properties revealed the impact of C2 insertion into well-known carbazole electron donors on the properties of previously reported twisted dibenzo[a,j]phenazine-core D-A-D triads. Slight structural modification caused a drastic change in conformational preference, allowing unique photophysical behavior of dual emission derived from room-temperature phosphorescence and triplet–triplet annihilation. Furthermore, electrochemical analysis suggested sigma-dimer formation and electrochemical polymerization on the electrode. Quantum chemical calculations also rationalized the experimental results.  相似文献

Chronic stress is the key factor contributing to the development of depressive symptoms. Chronic restraint stress (CRS) is well validated and is one of the most commonly used models to induce depressive-like behavior in rodents. The present study aimed to evaluate whether fluoxetine (FLU 5 mg/kg) and zinc (Zn 10mg/kg) given simultaneously induce a more pronounced antidepressant-like effect in the CRS model than both those compounds given alone. Behavioral assessment was performed using the tail suspension and splash tests (TST and ST, respectively). Furthermore, the effects of CRS, FLU and Zn given alone and combined treatment with FLU + Zn on the expression of proteins involved in the apoptotic, inflammatory, and epigenetic processes were evaluated in selected brain structures (prefrontal cortex, PFC; and hippocampus, Hp) using Western blot analysis or enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). The results obtained indicated that three hours (per day) of immobilization for 4 weeks induced prominent depressive symptoms that manifested as increased immobility time in the TST, as well as decreased number and grooming time in the ST. Behavioral changes induced by CRS were reversed by both FLU (5 and 10 mg/kg) or Zn (10 mg/kg). Zinc supplementation (10 mg/kg) slightly increases the effectiveness of FLU (5 mg/kg) in the TST. However, it significantly increased the activity of FLU in the ST compared to the effect induced by FLU and Zn alone. Biochemical studies revealed that neither CRS nor FLU and Zn given alone or in combined treatment alter the expression of proteins involved in apoptotic or inflammatory processes. CRS induced major alterations in histone deacetylase (HDAC) levels by increasing the level of HADC1 and decreasing the level of HADC4 in the PFC and Hp, decreasing the level of HADC6 in the PFC but increasing it in Hp. Interestingly, FLU + Zn treatment reversed CRS-induced changes in HDAC levels in the Hp, indicating that HDAC modulation is linked to FLU + Zn treatment and this effect is structure-specific.  相似文献

We introduce a method that allows the disclosure of correlations between particle positions in an arbitrary many‐body system. The method is based on a well‐known simulated annealing algorithm and the proposed artificial distribution technique. Additionally, we investigate correlations in quantum Hall liquids (we consider many‐body wave functions that have been recently determined via the cyclotron subgroup model) and present three‐dimensional plots of configuration probability distributions that have been established from numerical simulations. We demonstrate that the preferred simultaneous positions of particles (configurations of positions, which correspond to large values of a system's probability distribution, ) tend to form complicated geometric structures, which are equivalent to classical Wigner crystals only for Laughlin states. Furthermore, we claim that quantum Hall liquids attributed to non‐Laughlin fillings are correlated on subdomains rather than on a whole particle domain (due to a quantizing magnetic field, which modifies the topology of a system's dynamics). Finally, we characterize Hall‐like internal orders in terms of statistical correlations (one‐dimensional unitary representations of cyclotron subgroups). Our conclusions concerning the stability of many‐body states agree with transport measurements and various numerical studies.  相似文献

The oxidation of aniline with silver nitrate in 1 mol L−1 acetic acid at 20 °C yielded a composite of two conducting components, polyaniline and silver; the acceleration with 1 mol% of p-phenylenediamine is needed for efficient synthesis. The yield and molecular weight increased when aniline was copolymerized with 10 mol% p-phenylenediamine. Such product displayed metallic conductivity below 180 K and semiconductor type above this temperature. As the result, the conductivity was the same at 100 and 300 K. The oxidation of p-phenylenediamine alone with silver nitrate also produced a conducting composite having the conductivity of 1,750 S cm−1 despite the assumed nonconductivity of poly(p-phenylenediamine). The present study demonstrates that all oxidations proceeded also in frozen reaction mixtures at −24 °C, i.e., in the solid state. In most cases, molecular weights of polymer component increased, the conductivity of composites with silver improved, to 2,990 S cm−1 for poly(p-phenylenediamine)–silver, and remained high after deprotonation with 1 mol L−1 ammonium hydroxide.

Metronidazole (MET) is a commonly detected contaminant in the environment. The compound is classified as poorly biodegradable and highly soluble in water. Heterogeneous photocatalysis is the most promoted water purification method due to the possibility of using sunlight and small amounts of a catalyst needed for the process. The aim of this study was to select conditions for photocatalytic removal of metronidazole from aquatic samples. The effect of catalyst type, mass, and irradiance intensity on the efficiency of metronidazole removal was determined. For this purpose, TiO2, ZnO, ZrO2, WO3, PbS, and their mixtures in a mass ratio of 1:1 were used. In this study, the transformation products formed were identified, and the mineralization degree of compound was determined. The efficiency of metronidazole removal depending on the type of catalyst was in the range of 50–95%. The highest MET conversion (95%) combined with a high degree of mineralization (70.3%) was obtained by using a mixture of 12.5 g TiO2–P25 + PbS (1:1; v/v) and running the process for 60 min at an irradiance of 1000 W m−2. Four MET degradation products were identified by untargeted analysis, formed by the rearrangement of the metronidazole and the C-C bond breaking.  相似文献

A series of aryl‐substituted enaminoketones and their thio analogues in CDCl3 solution and in the solid state were studied by the use of high‐resolution 1H and 13C as well as 13C cross polarization magic angle spinning (CP MAS) NMR spectra in combination with gauge including atomic orbitals‐density functional theory (GIAO‐DFT) calculations performed at the B3PW91/6–311 + + G(d,p) level of theory using the B3PW91/6‐311 + + G(d,p)‐optimized geometries. The analysis of the 13C NMR spectra in solution was done by using the Incredible Natural Abundance DoublE QUAntum Transfer Experiment (INADEQUATE) technique, whereas trends observed in the 13C shielding constants, calculated for the compounds studied, were a great help in assigning most of the signals in the 13C CP MAS NMR spectra. It was established on the basis of the experimental and theoretical NMR data that both groups of compounds exist in the form of Z‐s‐Z‐s‐E isomers in CDCl3 solution as well as in the solid state, with the NH hydrogen atom involved in intramolecular hydrogen bonding. This conclusion is in agreement with the fact that some of the compounds studied reveal liquid‐crystalline properties. Two types of graphene oxide-TiO2 composites were prepared: one by including graphene oxide flakes in the TiO2 sol, followed by thermal treatment (GI composite) at 300°C, and the second by including graphene oxide flakes in the calcined (at 500°C) TiO2 xerogel (GII composite). The composites were characterized by SEM, TEM-EDS, TEM-SADP, STEM-HAADF, HRTEM coupled with FT, XRD, and XPS. Photocatalysis results were fitted to different kinetic models (pseudo-first and pseudo-second kinetics, intraparticle Weber-Morris diffusion, film diffusion, and external mass transfer). The results showed that by introducing graphene oxide flakes in the TiO2 sol, followed by thermal treatment at 300°C (GI composite), an efficient graphene oxide-TiO2 catalyst with high specific surface area, heterogeneity, and many graphitized areas can be obtained. Complete crystallization of the composite is not the key issue for the best photoactivity achievement. The rate limiting step in the photocatalytic process is the photooxidation of SA molecules on the TiO2 surface.  相似文献

Stability-indicating LC methods were developed and validated for the quantitative determination of doripenem, meropenem and tebipenem in the presence of their degradation products formed during forced degradation studies. Isocratic HPLC and UHPLC separations were performed with a core–shell Kinetex 1.7, 2.6 and 5 µm, all C18, 100A, 100 × 2.1 mm columns and the mobile phase composed of acetonitrile and 12 mmol L−1 ammonium acetate in different ratios. The flow rates of the mobile phase were: 0.5 mL min−1 for 1.7 µm column, and 1.0 mL min−1 for 2.6 and 5 µm ones. Detection wavelength was 298 nm and temperature was set at 30 °C. All analysed drugs were exposed to stress conditions which caused their hydrolysis and thermal degradation. The methods were validated by evaluation of linearity, accuracy, precision, selectivity and robustness. Proposed methods were successfully applied for the determination of investigated antibiotics during kinetic studies in aqueous solutions and in the solid state. The advantages of chromatographic procedures which are based on the use of C18 stationary phases with different particle sizes in the analysis of selected carbapenems were discussed.

Although the influence of structurally modified sterols on artificial membranes has been intensively investigated, studies on the properties of stanols, which are saturated analogs of sterols, are very rare. Therefore, we have performed Grazing Incidence X-ray Diffraction (GIXD) experiments aimed at studying in-plane organization of a plant stanol-β-sitostanol monolayer and its mixtures with 1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine - DPPC at the air/water interface. The collected GIXD data, resulting in-plane parameters and BAM images provide information on molecular organization and in-plane ordering of the investigated films. It was found that the lateral organization of β-sitostanol/DPPC monolayers depends on their composition. The oblique structure of the in-plane lattice of tilted hydrophobic region of molecules, found for DPPC film, is maintained at 10 mol% of stanol in the system. However, at 30 and 90 mol% of stanol in the mixture, the arrangement of molecules is hexagonal and they are oriented perpendicularly to the interface. With the addition of stanol the extend of the in-plane order of the monolayers decreases. Moreover, in mixtures the ordered domains consist of both monolayer's components. Additionally, β-sitostanol film is of similar in-plane organization as the corresponding sterol monolayer (β-sitosterol) and stanol induces condensing effect on DPPC.  相似文献
