Hybrid peptides consisting of alpha-amino acids with judiciously placed beta-amino acids show great promise as peptidomimetics in an increasing range of therapeutic applications. This reflects a combination of increased stability, high specificity and relative ease of synthesis.  相似文献

InI3 is able to catalyze the conversion of methanol to a mixture of hydrocarbons at 200 degrees C with one highly branched alkane, 2,2,3-trimethylbutane (triptane), being obtained in high selectivity. The mechanism for InI3-catalyzed reactions appears to be basically the same as that proposed for the previously studied ZnI2-catalyzed system in which sequential methylation of olefins is followed by competing reactions of the resulting carbocation: proton loss to give the next olefin vs hydride transfer to give the corresponding alkane. Although the reaction conditions and typical triptane yields achievable with ZnI2 and InI3 are quite similar, the two systems behave rather differently in a number of important particulars, including significant differences between the detailed product distributions. Most of the differences in behavior can be ascribed to the stronger Lewis acidity of InI3, including the ability to activate some alkanes, the higher activity for methylation of arenes, and the fact that methanol conversion can be observed at somewhat lower temperatures with InI3 than with ZnI2.  相似文献

Since its introduction in the nineties, the negative resist SU-8 has been increasingly used in micro- and nanotechnologies. SU-8 has made the fabrication of high-aspect ratio structures accessible to labs with no high-end facilities such as X-ray lithography systems or deep reactive ion etching systems. These low-cost techniques have been applied not only in the fabrication of metallic parts or molds, but also in numerous other micromachining processes. Its ease of use has made SU-8 to be used in many applications, even when high-aspect ratios are not required. Beyond these pattern transfer applications, SU-8 has been used directly as a structural material for microelectromechanical systems and microfluidics due to its properties such as its excellent chemical resistance or the low Young modulus. In contrast to conventional resists, which are used temporally, SU-8 has been used as a permanent building material to fabricate microcomponents such as cantilevers, membranes, and microchannels. SU-8-based techniques have led to new low-temperature processes suitable for the fabrication of a wide range of objects, from the single component to the complete lab-on-chip. First, this article aims to review the different techniques and provides guidelines to the use of SU-8 as a structural material. Second, practical examples from our respective labs are presented.  相似文献

A study on the synthesis of La1−xAgxMnO3+δ (x = 0, 0.2) using a microwave process (MWhyd) has been carried out by comparing the heating time and reaction temperature with the same factor under conventional thermal process (CHhyd). Experiments have been conducted using the hydrothermal method at medium pressure (T = 200 °C, P = 20 atm) followed by a thermal treatment of the precursor at 700 °C (10 h).Structural and physico-chemical properties of the catalysts were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), BET sorption, temperature-programmed reduction or desorption, mass spectrometry (TPR-MS and TPD-MS), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). While CHhyd and MWhyd powder catalysts exhibited the same XRD patterns indexed as pure perovskite structure, their surface physico-chemical properties were found to be strongly influenced by the preparation method. The effect of the nature of oxygen species, their amount and mobility, evidenced by temperature programmed experiments, on the catalytic properties in methane combustion in the presence and in the absence of hydrogen sulphide has been studied. MWhyd-La0.8Ag0.2MnO3+δ catalysts were found to exhibit a much better performance in methane combustion together with higher resistance to sulphur poisoning than CHhyd catalysts.  相似文献

We analyze certain chemical reaction networks and show that every solution converges to some steady state. The reaction kinetics are assumed to be monotone but otherwise arbitrary. When diffusion effects are taken into account, the conclusions remain unchanged. The main tools used in our analysis come from the theory of monotone dynamical systems. We review some of the features of this theory and provide a self-contained proof of a particular attractivity result which is used in proving our main result.  相似文献

Currently, developing a stable nanocarrier with high cellular internalization and low toxicity is a key bottleneck in nanomedicine. Here, we have developed a successful method to covalently conjugate poly(methyl vinyl ether‐co‐maleic acid) (PMVE‐MA) copolymer on the surface of (3‐aminopropyl)triethoxysilane‐functionalized thermally carbonized porous silicon nanoparticles (APSTCPSi NPs), forming a surface negatively charged nanovehicle with unique properties. This polymer conjugated NPs could modify surface smoothness, charge, and hydrophilicity of the developed NPs, leading to considerable improvement in the colloidal and plasma stabilities via enhanced suspensibility and charge repulsion. Furthermore, despite the surface negative charge of the polymer‐conjugated NPs, the cellular internalization was increased in both MDA‐MB‐231 and MCF‐7 breast cancer cells. These results provide a proof‐of‐concept evidence that such polymer‐based PSi nanocomposite can be extensively used as a promising candidate for intracellular drug delivery.

Here, a modular approach is reported to introduce a specific function into single‐chain polymeric nanoparticles (SCPNs). Hereto, an amphiphilic polymer with pendant benzene‐1,3,5‐tricarboxamide (BTA) units is mixed with a “free” BTA that contains a functional group, either a fluorescent naphthalimide or a catalytically active l ‐proline. Taking advantage of hydrophobic interactions and self‐recognition properties of the BTA units, the “free” BTAs are captured into the interior of the SCPN in water as evidenced by fluorescence studies. To illustrate that function can be readily introduced using a modular approach, l ‐proline‐based BTAs are incorporated to procure a catalytically active SCPN in water. The aldol reaction between p‐nitrobenzaldehyde and cyclohexanone shows good conversions at low catalyst loadings and substrate concentrations, and high stereoselectivities are obtained (de = 91% and ee = 98%).

The coordination chemistry of the tetradentate pyridyl N-donor ligand cis-3,5-bis-[2-pyridinyleneamin]-trans-hydroxycyclohexane (DDOP) has been investigated with zinc(II) nitrate and triflate. The resulting complexes, [Zn(DDOP)(H2O)(NO3)](NO3) (1), and [Zn(DDOP)(H2O)(OTf)](OTf) (2) differ not only in their counterions, but also the arrangement of the axial ligands and their solid state hydrogen bonded networks. Isothermal titration calorimetry was used to assess the difference in binding properties exhibited by the two zinc complexes at physiological pH in an aqueous environment. A series of coordinating amino acids were found to preferentially bind to the mononuclear zinc triflate (1) complex over the corresponding nitrate (2) assembly, with histidine exhibiting a two centre binding mode.  相似文献

The concept of a Born–Oppenheimer (BO) potential energy surface (PES) has been extended to non-adiabatic wavefunctions by Hunter and by Wilson. A Hunter non-adiabatic PES corresponding to an excited vibrational state has a set of spikes superimposed on a BO-like PES. It was believed that Wilson PESs were spike-free. We show that it is not the case and that the Wilson PES value at a given nuclear configuration is not the expectation value of a quantum observable but a quotient of such expectation values. Consequently, BO PESs have the quantum interpretation of quotients of approximate expectation values of observables.  相似文献
