A new family of pentadecanuclear coordination cluster compounds (from now on simply referred to as clusters) [{Ln15(OH)20(PepCO2)10(DBM)10Cl}Cl4] (PepCO2=2‐[{3‐(((tert‐butoxycarbonyl)amino)methyl)benzyl}amino]acetate, DBM=dibenzoylmethanide) with Ln=Y and Dy was obtained by using the cell‐penetrating peptoid (CPPo) monomer PepCO2H and dibenzoylmethane (DBMH) as supporting ligands. The combination of an inorganic cluster core with an organic cell‐penetrating peptoid in the coordination sphere resulted in a core component {Ln153‐OH)20Cl}24+ (Ln=Y, Dy), which consists of five vertex‐sharing heterocubane {Ln43‐OH)4}8+ units that assemble to give a pentagonal cyclic structure with one Cl atom located in the middle of the pentagon. The solid‐state structures of both clusters were established by single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography. MS (ESI) experiments suggest that the cluster core is robust and maintained in solution. Pulsed gradient spin echo (PGSE) NMR diffusion measurements were carried out on the diamagnetic yttrium compound and confirmed the stability of the cluster in its dicationic form [{Y153‐OH)20(PepCO2)10(DBM)10Cl}Cl2]2+. The investigation of both static (dc) and dynamic (ac) magnetic properties in the dysprosium cluster revealed a slow relaxation of magnetization, indicative of single‐molecule magnet (SMM) behavior below 8 K. Furthermore, the χT product as a function of temperature for the dysprosium cluster gave evidence that this is a ferromagnetically coupled compound below 11 K.  相似文献

A sensitive, specific and reproducible HPLC method has been developed and validated for the quantitative determination of 6‐methylcoumarin (6MC) in plasma and other tissues in Wistar rats. A C18 column was used with UV detection at 321 nm and a gradient system consisting of methanol‐deionized water was used as mobile phase. The retention time for 6MC was 14.921 min and no interfering peaks were observed for any of the matrices. Linear relationships (r2 > 0.997) were obtained between the peak height ratios and the corresponding biological sample concentrations over the range 0.4–12.8 µg/mL. Precision and accuracy were evaluated; the coefficient of variation and the relative error for all of the organs were <2 and 7%, respectively. The limit of quantitation was 0.20 µg/mL for the heart and 0.30 µg/mL for the other tissues evaluated. This HPLC method was successfully used in the determination of 6MC in the biodistribution study after administration of 200 mg/kg of both 6MC‐free and 6MC‐loaded polymeric microparticles. In this study, extensive 6MC was found, in both free and microencapsulated forms, in all the organs tested. The 6MC‐free showed a range of between 1.7 and 11.5 µg/g, while the microencapsulated 6MC showed concentrations of between 6.35 and 17.7 µg/g, suggesting that 6MC improved absorption rate. Avian influenza viruses preferentially bind to sialic acid alpha-2,3-galactose (N-SA-α-2,3-Gal) receptors on epithelial cells. Herein, we describe a procedure we have developed for isolation of N-SA-α-2,3-Gal receptors from porcine trachea using magnetic nanoparticles (NPs) coated with chitosan (NP-Ch) and functionalized with Maackia amurensis lectin (NP-lectin). Magnetic nanoparticles were coated with chitosan in a one-step co-precipitation, and then M. amurensis lectin was immobilized covalently using glutaraldehyde. Lectin coated nanoparticles were incubated with sialic acid enriched fraction of tracheal homogenate, and N-SA-α-2,3-Gal receptor was extracted under magnetic field in two cycles. The presence of 66.4 kDa protein was determined by sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The interaction of immobilized receptor (NP-Ch-R) with M. amurensis lectin (NP-Ch-R-L) was demonstrated by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).  相似文献

This study describes a liquid–liquid extraction technique for extracting volatile compounds from wine using dichloromethane and ultrasounds. This technique permits the simultaneous extraction of different samples with high reproducibility. After the preliminary tests, several parameters (sample volume, solvent volume and extraction time) were optimised using a factorial design to obtain the most relevant variables. The analytical characteristics were obtained such as calibration graphs, detection limits ranging from 0.0238 mg L−1 for 1-pentanol to 0.261 mg L−1 for octanoic acid, quantification limits and relative standard deviation from 2.1 to 6.2%. Extraction yields were calculated giving a range 9.16–1.2%. The optimised conditions were applied to the extraction of samples of young wines from the Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja category using gas chromatography and a flame ionisation detector.  相似文献

The modeling of liquid–vapor equilibrium in ternary mixtures that include substances found in alcoholic distillation processes of wine and musts is analyzed. In particular, vapor–liquid equilibrium in ternary mixtures containing water + ethanol + cogener has been modeled using parameters obtained from binary mixture data only. The congeners are substances that although present in very low concentrations, of the order of part per million, 10−6 to 10−4 mg/L, are important enological parameters [1] and [2]. In this work two predictive models, the PSRK equation of state and the UNIFAC liquid phase model and two semipredictive activity coefficient models: NRTL and UNIQUAC have been used. The results given by these different models have been compared with literature data and conclusions about the accuracy of the models studied are drawn, recommending the best models for correlating and predicting the phase equilibrium in this type of mixtures.  相似文献

Until now, time-of-flight (TOF) mass analysers have only been very rarely used in pesticide residue analysis (PRA) of water samples. However, the inherent characteristics of TOF MS make these analysers well-suited to this field, mainly for qualitative purposes. Thus, the high sensitivity obtained from full-scan acquisition in comparison to other MS analysers and the high resolution of TOF MS suggest its suitability for screening purposes; it also increases the multiresidue capabilities of methods based on it and decreases the chance of recording false positives. Although these characteristics can also be helpful for quantification, confirmation and elucidation, some limitations on the use of TOF for these purposes have been observed. These limitations are more noticeable when dealing with samples containing very low analyte concentrations, which is the normal situation for PRA in water. The use of hybrid quadrupole–time-of-flight instruments (QTOF) minimises the limitations of TOF, facilitating the simultaneous detection and unequivocal confirmation of pesticides found in the sample. Additionally, the acquisition of accurate product ion full-scan mass spectra can help to elucidate the structures of unknown compounds. In this paper, the potential of TOF and QTOF hyphenated to liquid chromatography for PRA in water is explored, emphasizing both the advantages and limitations of this approach for screening, quantification, confirmation and elucidation purposes. Emphasis is placed on the determination of polar pesticides and transformation products—the analytes that fit well with LC–API–(Q)TOF MS technology.  相似文献

The photocontrol of anthocyanin synthesis in dark-grown seedlings of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) has been studied in an aurea (au) mutant which is deficient in the labile type of phytochrome, a high pigment (hp) mutant which has the wild-type level of phytochrome and the double mutant au/hp , as well as the wild type. The hp mutant demonstrates phytochrome control of anthocyanin synthesis in response to a single red light (RL) pulse, whereas there is no measurable response in the wild type and au mutant. After pretreatment with 12 h blue light (BL) the phytochrome regulation of anthocyanin synthesis is 10-fold higher in the hp mutant than in the wild type, whilst no anthocyanin is detectable in the au mutant, thus suggesting that it is the labile pool of phytochrome which regulates anthocyanin synthesis. The au/hp double mutant exhibits a small (3% of that in the hp mutant) RL/far-red light (FR)-reversible regulation of anthocyanin synthesis following a BL pretreatment. It is proposed that the hp mutant is hypersensitive to the FR-absorbing form of phytochrome (Pfr) and that this (hypersensitivity) establishes response to the low level of Pfl. (below detection limits in phytochrome assays) in the au/hp double mutant.  相似文献

In recent years, near-infrared (NIR) hyperspectral imaging has proved its suitability for quality and safety control in the cereal sector by allowing spectroscopic images to be collected at single-kernel level, which is of great interest to cereal control laboratories. Contaminants in cereals include, inter alia, impurities such as straw, grains from other crops, and insects, as well as undesirable substances such as ergot (sclerotium of Claviceps purpurea). For the cereal sector, the presence of ergot creates a high toxicity risk for animals and humans because of its alkaloid content. A study was undertaken, in which a complete procedure for detecting ergot bodies in cereals was developed, based on their NIR spectral characteristics. These were used to build relevant decision rules based on chemometric tools and on the morphological information obtained from the NIR images. The study sought to transfer this procedure from a pilot online NIR hyperspectral imaging system at laboratory level to a NIR hyperspectral imaging system at industrial level and to validate the latter. All the analyses performed showed that the results obtained using both NIR hyperspectral imaging cameras were quite stable and repeatable. In addition, a correlation higher than 0.94 was obtained between the predicted values obtained by NIR hyperspectral imaging and those supplied by the stereo-microscopic method which is the reference method. The validation of the transferred protocol on blind samples showed that the method could identify and quantify ergot contamination, demonstrating the transferability of the method. These results were obtained on samples with an ergot concentration of 0.02 % which is less than the EC limit for cereals (intervention grains) destined for humans fixed at 0.05 %.

In this study, densities and speeds of sound were measured over the whole composition range, at T = (298.15, 303.15 and 308.15) K and p = 0.1 MPa, for the binary systems of ethanol, or 1-propanol, or 2-propanol and 1-butyl-3-methylpyridinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, or 1-butyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide. The density and speed of sound data were used to calculate the corresponding excess molar volumes and excess molar isentropic compressions, which were fitted with the Redlich–Kister equation. From the obtained results, a discussion was carried out in terms of interactions and structure factors in these binary mixtures.  相似文献

The effect of thermal treatment on the structural incorporation of Cr2O3 in xCr2O3·(100 – x)SiO2 and 5R n xCr2O3·(95 – x)SiO2 (where x=0.01–1 mol.% and R=Li, Na and Ca) gel glasses was studied by optical absorption spectrophotometry, DTA-TG, XRD and electron microscopy.Samples heat treated at 60°C have green color due to the presence of Cr3+ in octahedral coordination. The optical transmission, and color (yellow, orange or ambar), of the samples heat treated between 200 and 700°C prove that Cr3+ (octahedrally coordinated) and Cr6+ (tetrahedrally coordinated) are both present. Segregation of Cr2O3 take place at temperatures above 800°C.In reducing conditions the gel glasses were green due to the presence of a high content of Cr3+ ions. Samples containing Li or Na show crystalline phases at temperatures below 850°C.  相似文献
