Search for supersymmetric particles in photon-electron interactions at high energy

We discuss the production of gauge fermions and scalar electrons in high energy scattering of real photons off electrons. We propose to perform scattering experiments with polarized photons to discriminate between left and right partners of electrons and thus test more stringently the supersymmetry character of these particles.     

2-Methoxy-6-oxo-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyridine-3-carbonitriles: versatile starting materials for the synthesis of libraries with diverse heterocyclic scaffolds

Heterocyclic demonstration libraries for agrochemical screening were prepared from the common intermediates 2-methoxy-6-oxo-1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyridine-3-carbonitriles (1), using standard solution-phase techniques. A total of 18 screening libraries were prepared in good to excellent yields. Several members of these libraries were active in the first level of agrochemical screening, especially in the fungicide screen.     

Edge-enhanced imaging with polyvinyl alcohol/acrylamide photopolymer gratings

We demonstrate edge-enhanced imaging produced by volume phase gratings recorded on a polyvinyl alcohol/acrylamide photopolymer. Bragg diffraction, exhibited by volume gratings, modifies the impulse response of the imaging system, facilitating spatial filtering operations with no need for a physical Fourier plane. We demonstrate that Kogelnik's coupled-wave theory can be used to calculate the transfer function for the transmitted and the diffracted orders. The experimental and simulated results agree, and they demonstrate the feasibility of our proposal.     

火焰辐射及偶丝导热对热电偶测温影响的数值分析

本文利用层流同向扩散乙烯火焰的数值模拟结果,根据所得的火焰温度场、气体速度场、火焰辐射场,分析火焰辐射、热电偶偶丝导热对热电偶测温的影响.结果表明在火焰的低温区火焰辐射要大于节点向外辐射,节点得到的能量要高于节点损失的能量,因此在火焰的低温区节点温度要高于当地的气体温度;同时直径为100μm的热电偶存在较大的导热,对节点温度测量有较大的影响.     

Thermographic measurement of the effect of humidity in mortar porosity

The objective of this analysis is to examine the influence of the moisture in the porosity measurement by means of thermal non-destructive test and ultrasound techniques. It is possible to determine the concrete durability by the calculation of its porosity. Porosity is determined in an indirect way, measuring mortar diffusivity by means of active thermography. Using ultrasound techniques, the porosity is related with the ultrasonic propagation of velocity. The diffusivity has been calculated using the W.J. Parker equation. In the ultrasound technique, using the pulse transmission method, ultrasonic propagation velocity was measured as a function of the water content. The conclusions express the correlation between both methods.     

The Influence of the Renormalization Condition to the Equation of State of the Nuclear Matter

In the relativistic σ-ω model, the influences of the parameters b, c, d in the potential U(σ) = (1/2!)bo2 - -(1/3!)cσ3 (1/4!)dσ4 to the incompressibility, effective mass and binding energy of the nuclear matter are studied in detail.The calculation of equation of state of nuclear matter shows that the values of b, c, d depend on the renormalization condition, we also find that a soft equation of state of nuclear matter can be obtained in a suitable renormalization condition, and the experimental incompressibility coefficient can be reproduced. These results are also used to study the thermal properties of hot A-resonant nuclear matter.self-interaction of σ meson, renormalization, hot and dense hadronic matter ``     

超细激光束准直器设计的新数学模型

为了获取长距离超细激光束，采用几何能量守恒法设计出一种衍射光学元件，推导出高斯光入射时衍射光学元件位相函数。根据建立的数学模型，设计超细激光束准直器，并模拟高斯光入射时出射激光束的光斑形状及光强分布，最后计算了能量利用率。     

Bidentate phosphines as ligands in the palladium-catalyzed intramolecular arylation: the intermolecular base-assisted proton abstraction mechanism

The palladium-catalyzed arylation of aryl bromides can be carried out in the presence of bidentate phosphines, such as dppm, dppe, dppf, and Xantphos under mild conditions. The experimental results and the DFT calculations fully support for this reaction a mechanism proceeding by an intermolecular proton abstraction.
