Encouraged by experiments on 4He in aerogels, we confine planar spins in the pores of simulated aerogels (diffusion limited cluster-cluster aggregation) in order to study the effect of quenched disorder on the critical behavior of the three-dimensional XY model. Monte Carlo simulations and finite-size scaling are used to determine critical couplings K(c) and exponents. In agreement with experiments, clear evidence of change in the thermal critical exponents nu and alpha is found at nonzero volume fractions of impurities. These changes are explained in terms of hidden long-range correlations within disorder distributions.  相似文献

A series of aliphatic poly(ester amide)s derived from 1,6-hexanediol, glycine, and diacids with a variable number of methylenes (from 2 to 8) have been synthesized and characterized. Infrared spectroscopy shows that the studied polymers present a unique kind of hydrogen bond that is established between their amide groups. Thermal properties as melting, glass transition, and decomposition temperatures are reported. The data indicate that all the polymers are highly crystalline. Thus, different kinds of spherulites (positive and/or negative) were obtained depending on the preparation conditions and on the polymer samples. Moreover, all the polymers crystallized from dilute diol solutions as ribbonlike crystals where a regular folding habit and a single hydrogen bond direction could be deduced. The present research focuses on the evaluation of different ionic liquid (IL) stationary phases in gas chromatography. The different IL columns were evaluated in terms of peak resolution (Rs) and peak symmetry for the separation of the chlorobenzenes. The determination of chlorobenzenes in soil samples by means of the optimal IL stationary phase (SLB‐IL82) is proposed as an application. Soil pretreatment was based on a simplified quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe extraction procedure and a large injection volume via a programed temperature vaporizer working in solvent vent mode. The retention time of the chlorobenzenes increased as the polarity of the IL column decreased. SLB‐IL82 is the stationary phase that provides the best values as regards Rs and asymmetry factor. Soil sample blanks were spiked with the analytes before subjecting the sample to the extraction process. The existence of a matrix effect was checked and the analytical characteristics of the method were determined in a fortified garden soil sample. The method provided good linearity, good repeatability and reproducibility values, and the LODs were in the 0.1–4.7 μg/kg range. Two fortified soil samples were applied to validate the proposed methodology.  相似文献

Two Ecuadorian zeolite-rich tuffs, coded as Zeo1 (Mordenite) and Zeo2 (Clinoptilolite–Heulandite–Mordenite), were treated and used as supplementary cementitious materials (SCM) so as to study the effect of the thermal and mechanical treatments on pozzolanic reaction in mortars. The treatment was carried out by means of thermomechanical process according to a central composite-blocked cube-star experimental design. In this experimental design as independent factors the milling time (48, 60, 90, 120 and 132 min) and the heating temperatures (559, 600, 700, 800 and 841 °C) were used but keeping a constant heating time (5 h), and zeolite-rich tuffs as experimental blocks. The proportion of SCM was kept constant i.e. 15 %. On the other hand, the compressive strength, fixed lime, normalized water in hydrates and mg Ca(OH)2 per mg Cement at 7, 28 and 45 days, as well as hydration products related to dehydration degree of the zeolitic tuffs (DOD) were used as dependent factors. In addition, Quantitative and High-temperature chamber XRD, TG-DSC, particle size distribution and SEM-EDS were also carried out. The most significant factor was calcination leading to increase in the compressive strength compared to control, but just up to 800 °C because of recrystallization. As a conclusion, a meaningful loss of crystal structure of zeolites was not observed; but instead, the treatment could only lead to removing the water in cages and voids, thus improving the reaction with Ca(OH)2, producing more hydrates. In addition, lime was not only fixed by pozzolanic reaction, but also by carbonation.  相似文献

The treatment of the complex [Ir(η2-C2H4)2(L)][PF6] (L = κ3-N,N,N-(S,S)-iPr-pybox) with acetic acid (1:1 molar ratio) at −10 °C affords the complex [Ir(C2H5)(κ2-O,O-O2CCH3)(L)][PF6] (1). The dinuclear iridium(III) complex [Ir2(μ-Cl)2(C2H5)2(L)2][PF6]2 (2) is stereoselectively obtained by spontaneous intramolecular insertion of ethylene into the iridium-hydride bond of the mononuclear complex [IrClH(η2-C2H4)(L)][PF6]. The single bridging chloride dinuclear derivative [Ir2(μ-Cl)(C2H5)2Cl2(L)2][PF6] (3) is prepared by reaction of 2 with one equivalent of NaCl. The intramolecular insertion reaction of methyl and ethyl propiolate into the Ir-H bond of the complex [IrClH(MeCN)(L)][PF6] gives stereoselectively the dinuclear complexes [Ir2(μ-Cl)2(HCCHCO2R)2(L)2][PF6]2 (R = Me (4), Et (5)). The reaction of the complexes 4, 5 with one equivalent of NaCl or with an excess of sodium acetate yields the dinuclear [Ir2(μ-Cl)(HCCHCO2R)2Cl2(L)2][PF6] (R = Me (6), Et (7)) or the mononuclear [IrCl(HCCHCO2Et)(κ1-O-O2CMe)(L)] (8) complexes, respectively. The structure of the dinuclear complex 3 · CH2Cl2 has been determined by an X-ray monocrystal study.  相似文献

The 2,5-dioxopyrrolidin-1-yl-4-(3-hydroxy-6-oxo-6H-xanthen-9-yl)-3-methylbenzoate has been synthesized as an amine-reactive derivative able to yield stable covalently labeled biopolymers. The new derivative has been used to label polyribocytidilic acid (5'), poly(C), amine residues. TG-II-poly(C) exhibits monoexponential decay at the physiological pH range. In addition, both steady-state fluorescence intensity and fluorescence decay are also sensitive to solution pH. The large decrease in steady-state fluorescence upon hybridization allows it to be used as a nucleic acid probe in a homogeneous assay format. In summary, we report an efficient synthesis to obtain labeled RNA from commercially available materials in excellent yields.  相似文献

We propose a method for the authentication of the origin of vegetables grown under similar weather conditions, in sites less than 10 km distance from the sea and distributed over a rather small scale area (58651 km(2)). We studied how the strontium (Sr) isotopic signature and selected elemental concentrations ([Mn], [Cu], [Zn], [Rb], [Sr] and [Cd]) in early potatoes from three neighbouring administrative regions in the south of Italy were related to the geological substrate (alluvial sediments, volcanic substrates and carbonate rocks) and to selected soil chemical properties influencing the bioavailability of elements in soils (pH, cation exchange capacity and total carbonate content). Through multiple-step multivariate statistics (PLS-DA) we could assign 26 potatoes (including two already commercialised samples) to their respective eight sites of production, corresponding to the first two types of geological substrates. The other 12 potatoes from four sites of production had similar characteristics in terms of the geological substrate (third type) and these soil properties could be grouped together. In this case, more discriminative parameters would be required to allow the differentiation between sites. The validation of our models included external prediction tests with data of potatoes harvested the year before and a study on the robustness of the uncertainties of the measurement results. Annual variations between multi-elemental and Sr isotopic fingerprints were observed in potatoes harvested from soils overlying carbonate rocks, stressing the importance of testing long term variations in authentication studies.  相似文献
