The in-situ Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectro-electrochemical method was used to evaluate the degradation mechanism of perfluorinated sulfonic acid (PFSA) polymer for the first time. The effect of H2O2 concentration in Fenton's reagent on the PFSA film degradation was studied. It was found that the effect of the H2O2 concentration on the chemical degradation of the PFSA film was limited, whereas, the electrochemical degradation was obviously enhanced at higher H2O2 concentrations. The chemical degradation of PFSA film in Fenton's reagent was similar to that in pure H2O2 solution. However, the results indicated that the electrode potential is the dominating factor affecting the degradation of the PFSA film. It is clear that the electrochemical degradation of PFSA film in Fenton's reagent is more serious than that in pure H2O2 solution. Moreover, it is indicated that the main cause of the membrane degradation is the instability of the backbone of the polymer chain under electrochemical conditions and secondarily the loss of sulfuric groups in the side-chains. It is concluded that the in-situ FTIR spectro-electrochemical method could be used to evaluate more objectively the degradation of the polymer film.  相似文献

Management reviews are key processes in many quality-management systems, including laboratory-management systems, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189. These reviews are fine opportunities to understand and manage all the inputs and outputs of a quality-management system. Laboratories often meet some difficulties fully exploiting the management-review process because either they do not realize the importance of this process or they do not have the experience to run this process in a way producing the intended results. In a search for νμ → νe oscillations, the LSND experiment has observed an excess of events which are consistent with an oscillation signal. The KARMEN experiment, which is the only ongoing experiment which can test the LSND hypothesis, does not observe an excess, but also does not cover the full LSND allowed region. In this report, the results of these two experiments are discussed, together with the expectations of the MiniBooNE experiment which has been approved to run at FNAL in 2001. MiniBooNE's goal is to definitely verify or disprove the LSND oscillation hypothesis. Finally, the implications of the experimental techniques developed for current short baseline experiments for a future short baseline program, assuming the verification of the LSND signal, is also discussed.  相似文献

Glassy and rubbery epoxy-clay nanocomposites were synthesized by using various montmorillonite organoclays in order to investigate and compare the effect of the type of alkylammonium ion clay modifier on the structure and properties of the nanocomposites. The organoclays studied were the Nanomer I.28E and I.30E and the Cloisite C10A, C15A and C20A. The functionality (acidity), size and shape of backbone chain, hydrophobicity and polarity were the varying parameters of the organic modifiers that were correlated to the ability of the organoclays to form highly intercalated or exfoliated nanocomposites and to the changes observed in the mechanical (tensile measurements), thermo-mechanical (DMA) and thermal (TGA) properties of the epoxy nanocomposites. The primary alkylammonium ion modifiers with reactive/acidic hydrogen atoms, compared to the quaternary octadecyl, dihydrogenated tallow and benzyl-substituted hydrogenated tallow ammonium ions, were the most effective for the formation of exfoliated clay glassy and rubbery epoxy nanocomposites which exhibited improved properties compared to the pristine epoxy polymers.  相似文献

Algebraic immunity is a recently introduced cryptographic parameter for Boolean functions used in stream ciphers. If pAI(f) and pAI(f⊕1) are the minimum degree of all annihilators of f and f⊕1 respectively, the algebraic immunity AI(f) is defined as the minimum of the two values. Several relations between the new parameter and old ones, like the degree, the r-th order nonlinearity and the weight of the Boolean function, have been proposed over the last few years.In this paper, we improve the existing lower bounds of the r-th order nonlinearity of a Boolean function f with given algebraic immunity. More precisely, we introduce the notion of complementary algebraic immunity defined as the maximum of pAI(f) and pAI(f⊕1). The value of can be computed as part of the calculation of AI(f), with no extra computational cost. We show that by taking advantage of all the available information from the computation of AI(f), that is both AI(f) and , the bound is tighter than all known lower bounds, where only the algebraic immunity AI(f) is used.  相似文献

We investigate the relationship between two kinds of vertex colorings of graphs: unique-maximum colorings and conflict-free colorings. In a unique-maximum coloring, the colors are ordered, and in every path of the graph the maximum color appears only once. In a conflict-free coloring, in every path of the graph there is a color that appears only once. We also study computational complexity aspects of conflict-free colorings and prove a completeness result. Finally, we improve lower bounds for those chromatic numbers of the grid graph.  相似文献

In this work we propose a new splitting technique, namely Asymmetric Forward–Backward–Adjoint splitting, for solving monotone inclusions involving three terms, a maximally monotone, a cocoercive and a bounded linear operator. Our scheme can not be recovered from existing operator splitting methods, while classical methods like Douglas–Rachford and Forward–Backward splitting are special cases of the new algorithm. Asymmetric preconditioning is the main feature of Asymmetric Forward–Backward–Adjoint splitting, that allows us to unify, extend and shed light on the connections between many seemingly unrelated primal-dual algorithms for solving structured convex optimization problems proposed in recent years. One important special case leads to a Douglas–Rachford type scheme that includes a third cocoercive operator.  相似文献

Since the time of its appearance until present, COVID-19 has spread worldwide, with over 71 million confirmed cases and over 1.6 million deaths reported by the World Health Organization (WHO). In addition to the fact that cases of COVID-19 are increasing worldwide, the Delta and Omicron variants have also made the situation more challenging. Herein, we report the evaluation of several thiazole/thiadiazole/benzothiazole based thiazolidinone derivatives which were chosen from 112 designed derivatives by docking as potential molecules to inhibit the main protease of SARS-CoV-2. The contained experimental data revealed that among the fifteen compounds chosen, five compounds (k3, c1, n2, A2, A1) showed inhibitory activity with IC50 within the range of 0.01–34.4 μΜ. By assessing the cellular effects of these molecules, we observed that they also had the capacity to affect the cellular viability of human normal MRC-5 cells, albeit with a degree of variation. More specifically, k3 which is the most promising compound with the higher inhibitory capacity to SARS-CoV-2 protease (0.01 μΜ) affects in vitro cellular viability only by 57% at the concentration of 0.01 μM after 48 h in culture. Overall, these data provide evidence on the potential antiviral activity of these molecules to inhibit the main protease of SARS-CoV-2, a fact that sheds light on the chemical structure of the thiazole/thiadiazole/benzothiazole based thiazolidin-4-one derivatives as potential candidates for COVID-19 therapeutics.  相似文献

Wine lees, a sub-exploited byproduct of vinification, is considered a rich source of bioactive compounds, such as (poly)phenols, anthocyanins and tannins. Thus, the effective and rapid recovery of these biomolecules and the assessment of the bioactive properties of wine lees extracts is of utmost importance. Towards this direction, microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) factors (i.e., extraction time, microwave power and solvent/material ratio) were optimized using experimental design models in order to maximize the (poly)phenolic yield of the extracts. After optimizing the MAE process, the total phenolic content (TPC) as well as the antiradical, antioxidant and antimicrobial activity of the extracts were evaluated. Furthermore, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was employed to investigate the chemical profile of wine lees extracts. Red varieties exhibited higher biological activity than white varieties. The geographical origin and fermentation stage were also considered as critical factors. The white variety Moschofilero presented the highest antioxidant, antiradical and antimicrobial activity, while Merlot and Agiorgitiko samples showed noteworthy activities among red varieties. Moreover, IR spectra confirmed the presence of sugars, amino acids, organic acids and aromatic compounds. Thus, an efficient, rapid and eco-friendly process was proposed for further valorization of wine lees extracts.  相似文献
