The protonation constants for oxidized glutathione, H i−1L(4−i+1)−, K i H=[H i L(4−i)−]/[H i−1L(4−i+1)−][H+] i=1,2,…,6 have been measured at 5, 25 and 45 °C as a function of the ionic strength (0.1 to 5.4 mol⋅[kg(H2O)]−1) in NaCl solutions. The effect of ionic strength on the measured protonation constants has been used to determine the thermodynamic values (K i H0) and the enthalpy (ΔH i ) for the dissociation reaction using the SIT model and Pitzer equations. The SIT (ε) and Pitzer parameters (β (0), β (1) and C) for the dissociation products (L4−, HL3−, H2L2−, H3L, H4L, H5L+, H6L2+) have been determined as a function of temperature. These results can be used to examine the effect of ionic strength and temperature on glutathione in aqueous solutions with NaCl as the major component (body fluids, seawater and brines).  相似文献

Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) is the main precannabinoid in industrial hemp. It represents a common constituent of hemp seed oil, but mainly abundant in the aerial parts of the plant (including their processing waste). Thus, the optimization of fast and low-cost purification strategies is mandatory, as well as a deep investigation on its nutraceutical and cosmeceutical properties. To this purpose, CBDA content in hemp seed oil is evaluated, and its recovery from wasted leaves is favorably achieved. The cytotoxicity screening towards HaCaT cells, by means of MTT, SRB and LDH release assays, suggested it was not able to decrease cell viability or perturb cell integrity up to 10 μM concentration. Thus, the ability of CBDA to differentially modulate the release of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines mediators has been evaluated, finding that CBDA decreased IFN-γ, CXCL8, CXCL10, CCL2, CCL4 and CCL5, mostly in a dose-dependent manner, with 10 μM tested concentration exerting the highest activity. These data, together with those from assessing antimicrobial activity against Gram(+) and Gram(−) bacteria and the antibiofilm formation, suggest that CBDA is able to counteract the inflammatory response, also preventing bacteria colonization.  相似文献

The formation constants of dioxouranium(VI)-2,2′-oxydiacetic acid (diglycolic acid, ODA) and 3,6,9-trioxaundecanedioic acid (diethylenetrioxydiacetic acid, TODA) complexes were determined in NaCl (0.1≤I≤1.0 mol⋅L−1) and KNO3 (I=0.1 mol⋅L−1) aqueous solutions at T=298.15 K by ISE-[H+] glass electrode potentiometry and visible spectrophotometry. Quite different speciation models were obtained for the systems investigated, namely: ML0, MLOH, ML22−, M2L2(OH), and M2L2(OH)22−, for the dioxouranium(VI)–ODA system, and ML0, MLH+, and MLOH for the dioxouranium(VI)–TODA system (M=UO22+ and L = ODA or TODA), respectively. The dependence on ionic strength of the protonation constants of ODA and TODA and of both metal-ligand complexes was investigated using the SIT (Specific Ion Interaction Theory) approach. Formation constants at infinite dilution are [for the generic equilibrium pUO22++q(L2−)+rH+ (UO22+) p (L) q H r (2p−2q+r);β pqr ]: log 10 β 110=6.146, log 10 β 11−1=0.196, log 10 β 120=8.360, log 10 β 22−1=8.966, log 10 β 22−2=3.529, for the dioxouranium(VI)–ODA system and log β 110=3.636, log 10 β 111=6.650, log 10 β 11−1=−1.242 for dioxouranium(VI)–TODA system. The influence of etheric oxygen(s) on the interaction towards the metal ion was discussed, and this effect was quantified by means of a sigmoid Boltzman type equation that allows definition of a quantitative parameter (pL 50) that expresses the sequestering capacity of ODA and TODA towards UO22+; a comparison with other dicarboxylates was made. A visible absorption spectrum for each complex reaching a significant percentage of formation in solution (KNO3 medium) has been calculated to better characterize the compounds found by pH-metric refinement.  相似文献

Results of an investigation on phytate interactions with zinc(II) cation in NaNO3aq at different ionic strengths (0.1≤I/mol⋅L−1≤1.0) are reported. Stability constants of various Zn i H j Phy(12−2ij)− species were determined by potentiometry (ISE-H+ glass electrode) and the corresponding formation enthalpies by direct calorimetric titrations. Data obtained were used to provide an exhaustive speciation scheme of zinc(II) in the presence of phytate, as well as a comprehensive representation of the binding ability of phytate toward zinc(II) in different conditions. Different pL50 values [an empirical parameter already proposed, expressed as the −log 10 C Phy, where C Phy is the total phytate concentration necessary to bind 50% zinc(II)] were calculated in several conditions, and equations were formulated to model its dependence on different variables, such as ionic strength, temperature and pH. Other empirical predictive relationships are also proposed. Previous contributions to this series reviewed in ref. [1].  相似文献

A dynamical system is called partially hyperbolic if it exhibits three invariant directions, one unstable (expanding), one stable (contracting) and one central direction (somewhere in between the other two). We prove that topologically mixing partially hyperbolic diffeomorphisms whose central direction is non-uniformly contracting (negative Lyapunov exponents) almost everywhere have the Bernoulli property: the system is equivalent to an i. i. d. (independently identically distributed) random process. In particular, these systems are mixing: correlations of integrable functions go to zero as time goes to infinity. We also extend this result in two different ways. Firstly, for 3-dimensional diffeomorphisms, if one requires only non-zero (instead of negative) Lyapunov exponents then one still gets a quasi-Bernoulli property. Secondly, if one assumes accessibility (any two points are joined by some path whose legs are stable segments and unstable segments) then it suffices to requires the mostly contracting property on a positive measure subset, to obtain the same conclusions.  相似文献

Background: Metabolic and physicochemical evaluation is recommended to manage the condition of patients with nephrolithiasis. The estimation of the saturation state (β values) is often included in the diagnostic work-up, and it is preferably performed through calculations. The free concentrations of constituent ions are estimated by considering the main ionic soluble complexes. It is contended that this approach is liable to an overestimation of β values because some complexes may be overlooked. A recent report found that β values could be significantly lowered upon the addition of new and so far neglected complexes, [Ca(PO4)Cit]4− and [Ca2H2(PO4)2]. The aim of this work was to assess whether these complexes can be relevant to explaining the chemistry of urine. Methods: The Ca–phosphate–citrate aqueous system was investigated by potentiometric titrations. The stability constants of the parent binary complexes [Cacit] and [CaPO4], and the coordination tendency of PO43− toward [Ca(cit)] to form the ternary complex, were estimated. βCaOx and βCaHPO4 were then calculated on 5 natural urines by chemical models, including or not including the [CaPO4] and [Ca(PO4)cit]4− species. Results: Species distribution diagrams show that the [Ca(PO4)cit]4− species was only noticeable at pH > 8.5 and below 10% of the total calcium. β values estimated on natural urine were slightly lowered by the formation of [CaPO4] species, whereas [Ca(PO4)cit]4− results were irrelevant. Conclusions: While [CaPO4] species have an impact on saturation levels at higher pHs, the existence of ternary complex and of the dimer is rejected.  相似文献
