Synthetic analogs of natural flavolignans. V. A new synthesis of 6-halogeno-1,3-benzodioxane analogs of silandrin and hydnocarpin

6-Halogeno-1,3-benzodioxane analogs of chalcones have been synthesized by various methods. Flavanone and flavone analogs of silandrin and hydnocarpin have been obtained from them. The structures of the new flavonoids have been shown by their PMR spectra.

Methylphosphonothionates of N-(β-hydroxypropyl)anabasine — Synthesis,structure, and sensitivity of cholinesterases to them

The synthesis has been effected of alkyl anabasinoprop-2-yl and alkyl piperidinoprop-2-yl methylphosphonothionates. It has been shown by¹H,¹³C and³¹P NMR spectroscopies that the anabasine derivatives exist in solution as four diastereomeric forms. The kinetics of the interaction of the compounds synthesized with two types of cholinesterases has been studied.A. S. An investigation of the membranotropic properties of the plant toxin thionin isolated fromPyrularia pubera

Diastereoselective Alkylation of (Diene-Aldehyde)Fe(CO)3 Complexes with Functionalized Zinc-Copper Reagents NuCu(CN)Znl

Addition of functionalized zinc-copper reagents to the title complexes proceeds in a highly diastereoselective fashion to afford dienol complexes. The relative configurations of adducts 3d were determined by single X-ray diffraction analysis.
