Precipitation phenomena in aqueous solutions containing FeCl3 and NaH2PO2 in varying concentrations have been studied at 245 °C. The composition and the morphology of the resulting particles depended strongly on the concentration ratios of the reacting ions. In the presence of small amounts of NaH2PO2 only hematite formed of different particle shapes. An increased addition of hypophosphite ions had two effects: first, anions of phosphorus were incorporated in the solids and, second, ferric ions were reduced to ferrous ions giving a variety of products.Supported by the Electric Power Research Institute, Contract RP-966-2.On leave from Yokohama City University, Japan.  相似文献

To confirm the surface activity of myristic acid in the dispersion polymerization of vinyl monomers in scCO2, the interfacial tension (IFT) at the polymer/supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) interface has been measured. For the IFT measurements, a high-pressure pendant drop apparatus was constructed. The IFT data was obtained by the axisymmetric drop shape analysis of melt polymer droplets formed at the tip of a capillary. The reliability of the apparatus was confirmed by measuring the IFT of polystyrene (PS)/scCO2 and polypropylene (PP)/CO2 systems. The IFT of the poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)/scCO2 system with and without myristic acid was also measured. The IFT decreased on addition of myristic acid. The magnitude of the IFT depression due to the myristic acid was comparable to that of PS/scCO2 systems with the block copolymer surfactant, PS-b-poly(fluorooctyl acrylate). The surface activity of the myristic acid was confirmed by the decrease of IFT.  相似文献

Several noncyclic polyether compounds containing oxytrimethylene groups and o-carboxyphenyl terminal group were synthesized. It has been found that they can transport lithium ion selectively in the competitive alkali metal ion transport through liquid membranes. The results of the spectroscopic study, together with inspection on the basis of the CPK model building suggest that these polyethers can form a pseudocavity, in which lithium ion best fits, and then the terminal aromatic rings overlap one another face-to-face to form a stacking structure. By using newly synthesized polyethers, which were designed on the basis of the conformational information, the significant contribution of the structures of these polyethers could be verified.  相似文献

Summary We have investigated the structure of Eu(III)-citrate complexes in aqueous solution and their degradability by Pseudomonas fluorescens. Analysis of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:5 Eu(III):citrate solutions at pH 7 by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) showed that the 2:2 Eu(III)-citrate complex is the predominant complex species at a low citrate/Eu(III) ratio, while at a high ratio, a 1:2 Eu(III)-citrate complex is formed preferably. Studies on the biodegradation of Eu(III)-citrate complex by P. fluorescens have shown that a 2:2 Eu(III)-citrate complex is resistent to degradation while a 1:2 complex transforms to a 2:2 complex with the degradation of excess citric acid.  相似文献

Radical cation Diels‐Alder reactions provide a powerful method for the construction of six‐membered ring systems between both electron‐rich dienes and dienophiles. However, the most recent examples of this class have been limited to β‐methylstyrenes as dienophiles; the use of non‐conjugated alkenes remains challenging. The present study describes the serendipitous development of novel radical cation Diels‐Alder reactions by electrocatalysis that use non‐conjugated alkenes as dienophiles. The key to successful transformation involves highly substituted cyclohexenyl radical cations that are stable enough to be reduced by intermolecular single electron transfer.  相似文献

Tetramethylpyrazine is one of the alkaloids contained in Ligusticum wallichii Franch. Ferulic acid is a phenolic compound contained in Ligusticum wallichii Franch and Angelica sinensis (Oliv.) Diels. The present study was carried out to examine the effect of tetramethylpyrazine and ferulic acid and the combined effect of both compounds on spontaneous uterine contractions in rats in situ. Tetramethylpyrazine and ferulic acid showed an inhibitory effect on uterine movement when given perorally and intravenously, respectively. The combination of both compounds, at doses individually insufficient to inhibit, synergistically inhibited uterine contraction. It was found that tetramethylpyrazine and ferulic acid inhibited uterine contractions and the inhibitory effect induced by the combination of both was due to the potentiation.  相似文献

Complete release of water (or of hydrogen in the lattice which is finally released as water) from muscovite containing a large amount of fluorine, requires heating above 1500°C or addition of an appropriate flux. Experimental data from differential thermal analysis, x-ray diffraction patterns and dehydration curves showed that silicon dioxide is a useful flux. Samples are mixed with a 3 : 1 (weight) ratio of silicon dioxide in a platinum crucible and heated inductively in a nitrogen stream at 1200°C. The water released is absorbed in anhydrous (1 + 1) methanol—1, 2-ethanediol and titrated by the Karl Fischer method. For a representative muscovite sample, the water contents were 4.26 ± 0.03% at 1300—1400°C and 4.35 ± 0.08% above 1500°C in the absence of silicon dioxide. When silicon dioxide was added as described, the mean result was 4.33 ± 0.01% at 1200°C (95% confidence level) with a standard deviation of 0.015 and a coefficient of variation of 0.35%.  相似文献
