On-line coupling continuous-flow liquid membrane extraction (CFLME) with HPLC, a novel automatic system was developed for the determination of sulfonylurea herbicides in water. After an automatic trace-enrichment process by CFLME, which is the combination of continuous flow liquid-liquid extraction and support liquid membrane (SLM) extraction, the target analytes were concentrated in 50 microl of 0.2 M Na2CO3-NaHCO3 (pH 10.0) buffer. The concentrated sample solutions were injected directly onto a C18 analytical column with a valve, and detected at 240 nm with a diode array detector. Metsulfuron methyl (MSM), and DPX-A 7881 were baseline separated with a mobile phase consisting of methanol and 67 mM KH2PO4-Na2HPO4 (pH 5.91) buffer (45+55, v+v) at a flow-rate of 1.0 ml min(-1). With an enrichment time of 10 min and enrichment sample volume of 20 ml, the enrichment factors and detection limits are 100 and 0.05 microg l(-1) for MSM, and 96 and 0.1 microg l(-1) for DPX-A 7881, respectively. The linear range and precision (RSD) are 0.1-50 microg l(-1) and 7.0% for MSM, and 0.2-50 microg l(-1) and 9.2% for DPX-A 7881, respectively. This proposed method was applied to determine MSM and DPX-A 7881 in seawater, tap water, and bottled mineral water with spiked recoveries in the range of 83-95% for MSM and 88-100% for DPX-A 7881, respectively.  相似文献

Humic substances are precursors of carcinogenic trihalomethanes (THMs) formed during disinfection by chlorination in water treatment processes. In an effort to understand the relationship between trihalomethane formation potential (THMFP) and physicochemical properties of humic substances, UV-visible absorbance, fluorescence in emission and synchronous scan modes, and NMR spectra were measured for several aquatic fulvic and humic acids. For comparison, a soil fulvic acid was also examined using these methods. The feasibility of the gradient modified spin-echo (GOSE) NMR experiment to selectively measure singlet resonances arising from isolated protons was examined. In addition, diffusion coefficients were measured for DMSO solutions of the fulvic acids using BPPLED and GOSE-edited pulse sequences. Although none of the methods tested produced results that correlated with THMFP, the GOSE intensities determined for different regions of the NMR spectra did reflect the relative abundance of different types of functional groups produced by lignin oxidation. In addition, the GOSE-edited diffusion results suggest that the isolated protons, those most reactive to chlorination, are more likely contained in the larger molecular weight fractions of fulvic acids.  相似文献

The intermolecular potential energy surface (PES) of Ar interacting with the acetylene cation in its (2)Pi(u) ground electronic state is characterized by infrared photodissociation (IRPD) spectroscopy and quantum chemical calculations. In agreement with the theoretical predictions, the rovibrational analysis of the IRPD spectrum of C(2)H(2) (+)-Ar recorded in the vicinity of the antisymmetric CH stretching fundamental (nu(3)) is consistent with a vibrationally averaged T-shaped structure and a ground-state center-of-mass separation of R(c.m.) = 2.86 +/- 0.09 A. The nu(3) band experiences a blueshift of 16.7 cm(-1) upon complexation, indicating that vibrational excitation slightly reduces the interaction strength. The two-dimensional intermolecular PES of C(2)H(2) (+)-Ar, obtained from coupled cluster calculations with a large basis set, features strong angular-radial coupling and supports in addition to a global pi-bound minimum also two shallow side wells with linear H-bound geometries. Bound state rovibrational energy level calculations are carried out for rotational angular momentum J = 0-10 (both parities) employing a discrete variable representation-distributed Gaussian basis method. Effective spectroscopic constants are determined for the vibrational ground state by fitting the calculated rotational energies to the standard Watson A-type Hamiltonian for a slightly asymmetric prolate top.  相似文献

Computerized quantification of components under overlapping chromatographic peaks is done by calibration of chromatograms against component mixtures. For conventional (single-channel) detectors, the limitations of earlier methods based on ordinary multiple regression, can be circumvented by data reduction with the aid of principal component analysis with the partial least-squares approach. Simulation studies show that the method can be applied even when there is severe peak overlap, unstable baseline, noisy chromatograms or non-linear detector response. Advantages in the quantification of fused peaks by means of multichannel detectors are outlined. Present limitations on the quantitative evaluation of several overlapping component peaks from a single spectro-chromatogram by means of the partial least-squares method combined with multiple regression on the pure component spectra, are discussed with respect to practical high-performance liquid chromatography.  相似文献

Summary For a classC of structures there are two archetypical questions: 1) Is every group G the full automorphism group of some C C? and 2) May every C C embedded into some homogeneous H C, i.e. into a structure H enjoying some transitivity properties? Using model theoretic language and conditions on the existence of certain free constructions withinC, some rather general positive answers to these questions are obtained. These abstract results give some (methodical) unification to a variety of theorems for some very concrete classesC of combinatorial, geometrical or algebraic nature in the literature. To underline this point, the major part of the paper is devoted to a systematic survey of classesC of structures in which our general approach is applicable, included many classesC for which our type of questions has not yet been considered.

A new boundary treatment, a Hartree–Fock (HF ) surface potential model, is proposed to deal with the surface effect in the solid-state cluster calculations using the LCAO –MO –SCF ab initio method. The surface potential arises from one or more atoms, which have no basis function and are added to the calculated cluster system. These atoms are placed in such sites so that the HF potential field of the calculated system should possess a point-group symmetry. The surface potential could be found by the corresponding HF potential using a symmetry operator. The fact that a rather symmetric electronic structure of the asymmetric cluster YBa2CuZn2O7 is obtained using the HF surface potential shows that the surface effect in the cluster calculations could be neutralized to a great extent. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献
