We present a versatile computer model of diverse dynamic combinatorial libraries, and examine how molecular recognition between library members and a template can be used to amplify the best binders. The correlation between host-guest binding and amplification was examined for a set of 50 libraries with >300 components each over a wide range of template and building block concentrations. Depending on these concentrations correlations vary from poor (when using a large excess of template) to good (for very dilute libraries and/or substoichiometric template concentrations), highlighting the need to choose the experimental conditions for dynamic combinatorial libraries thoughtfully.  相似文献

We observe coherent interactions between an ultrashort, longitudinal acoustic soliton train and the 29-cm(-1) electronic transition in photoexcited ruby. Propagation of the strain pulses over millimeter distance through an excited zone reveals striking behavior of the induced electronic population, which has been explained by impulsive excitation of the two-level systems, combined with the nonlinear properties of the solitons in the resonant medium. This opens up new possibilities for coherent manipulation of ultrashort acoustic pulses by local electronic centers.  相似文献

The interaction of Hantzsch pyridinecarboxylic acids with dialkylformamides and POCl3, followed by treatment with NH4OH yields 1,8-dioxo-1,2,7,8-tetrahydro-2,7,10-triazaanthracenes (DOTTADs), which have great potential as useful ligands for Group I and II metals and some transition metals. The corresponding Hantszch esters similarly for DOTTADs or their bis-imines by way of isolable intermediates, which are then treated with an amine RNH2. DOTTAD-imines are also available from DOTTADs with amines and this reaction is also effective with 1,8-diamino-3,6-dioxaoctane to give macrocyclic analogues, as well as with chiral amines. DOTTAD-imines can be reduced with diethylsilane and Wilkinson's catalyst to the corresponding amines, which can also be formed from DOTTADs by reductive amination with amines and Na(AcO)3BH. Mono-aldols of DOTTADs are easily formed by treatment of DOTTADs with acetone.  相似文献

We study weak and strong convergence of the stochastic parallel transport for time t on Euclidean space. We show that the asymptotic behavior can be controlled by the Yang–Mills action and the Yang–Mills equations. For open paths we show that under appropriate curvature conditions there exits a gauge in which the stochastic parallel transport converges almost surely. For closed paths we show that there exists a gauge invariant notion of a weak limit of the random holonomy and we give conditions that insure the existence of such a limit. Finally, we study the asymptotic behavior of the average of the random holonomy in the case of t'Hooft's 1-instanton.  相似文献

This is the second of two papers in which we study real and virtual photon-proton scattering in a nonperturbative framework. In the first paper we have identified the leading contributions to this process at high energies and have derived expressions for them which take into account the renormalisation of the photon-quark-antiquark vertex. In the present paper we investigate the approximations and assumptions that are necessary to obtain the dipole model of high energy scattering from the results derived in the first paper. We discuss the gauge invariance of different contributions to the scattering amplitude and point out some subtleties related to gauge invariance in the correct definition of a perturbative photon wave function. As a phenomenological consequence of the dipole picture we derive a bound on the ratio of the cross sections for longitudinally and transversely polarised photons. This bound is independent of any particular model for the dipole-proton cross section and allows one to test the validity of the assumptions leading to the dipole picture in particular at low photon virtualities. We conclude that the naive dipole model formula should be supplemented by two additional terms which can potentially become large at small photon virtualities.  相似文献

We consider the decay of the intermediate vector bosonZ into two fermions and two Goldstone fermions in a model realizing supersymmetry in a nonlinear way. Since the Goldstone fermions are neutrino-like particles, the experimental signature would be two leptons or two jets together with missing energy. We show that for a scale of spontaneous supersymmetry breaking of the order 70 GeV the rate for this process should be detectable in LEP-experiments.  相似文献
