The intrinsic spin and extrinsic orbital angular momenta (S and L) and their torque densities are derived and formulated using the plane waves for light propagating in coiled optically active fiber cores which have homogeneity and inhomogeneity of refractive index n. The effect of the geometrical phase shift χ on S, L, their densities (per unit volume) and their torque densities of the right and left circularly polarized plane waves split in such a fiber is analyzed using the locally inertial coordinate frame for a fiber core with homogeneity of n and the non-inertial coordinate frame for a fiber core with inhomogeneity of n.  相似文献

The Doebner–Goldin equation developed for describing the quantum dissipative dynamics of one-particle system is extended to be applicable to many-body system. Practical formula for non-interacting system is also provided both for the continuum space framework and for the tight-binding framework. We show simple numerical demonstrations on the wavepacket dynamics both under a harmonic potential and a saw-like potential.  相似文献

Various molecular magnetic compounds whose magnetic properties can be controlled by external stimuli have been developed, including electrochemically, photochemically, and chemically tunable bulk magnets as well as a phototunable antiferromagnetic phase of single chain magnet. In addition, we present tunable paramagnetic mononuclear complexes ranging from spin crossover complexes and valence tautomeric complexes to Co complexes in which orbital angular momentum can be switched. Furthermore, we recently developed several switchable clusters and one-dimensional coordination polymers. The switching of magnetic properties can be achieved by modulating metals, ligands, and molecules/ions in the second sphere of the complexes.  相似文献

Three types of reconstituted met- and zinc-myoglobin (metMb and ZnMb) dyads, ZnMbAc(4)Me+, ZnMbAc(6)Me+, and metMbAc(6) have been prepared by incorporating chemically modified metalloporphyrin cofactor appending an acridine (Ac) or a methylacridinium ion ([AcMe]+) into apo-Mb. In the bimolecular system between ZnMb and [AcMe]+, the photoexcited triplet state of ZnMb, 3(ZnMb)*, was successfully quenched by [AcMe]+ to form the radical pair of ZnMb cation (ZnMb*+) and reduced methylacridine ([AcMe]*), followed by a thermal back ET reaction. The rate constants for the intermolecular quenching ET (kq) and the back ET reaction (kb) at 25 degrees C were successfully obtained as kq = (8.8 +/- 0.4) x 10(7) M(-1) s(-1) and kb = (1.2 +/- 0.1) x 10(8) M(-1) s(-1), respectively. On the other hand, in case of the intramolecular photoinduced ET reactions of ZnMbAc(4)Me+ and ZnMbAc(6)Me+ dyads, the first-order quenching rate constants (kET) of 3(ZnMb)* by [AcMe]+ moiety were determined to be kET = 2.6 x 10(3) and 2.5 x 10(3) s(-1), respectively. When such ET occurs along the alkyl spacer via through-bond mechanism at the surface of Mb, the obtained kET is reasonable to provide decay constant of beta (1.0-1.3 A(-1)). Upon photoirradiation of [AcMe]+ moiety, kinetic studies also presented the intramolecular quenching reactions from the excited singlet state, 1([AcMe]+)*, whose likely process is the photoinduced energy-transfer reaction. For metMbAc(6) dyad, steady-state fluorescence was almost quenched, while the signal around 440 nm gradually appeared in the presence of various concentrations of DNA. Our study implies that synthetic manipulation at the Mb surface, by using an artificial DNA-binder coupled with photoinduced reaction, may provide valuable information to construct new Mb-DNA complex and sensitive fluorescent for DNA.  相似文献

In the presence of (R)-DTBM-SEGPHOS-Pd(OAc)(2) catalyst, N-arylation (aromatic amination) of various o-tert-butylanilides with p-iodonitrobenzene proceeds with high enantioselectivity (88-96% ee) to give atropisomeric N-(p-nitrophenyl)anilides having an N-C chiral axis in good yields. Atropisomeric anilide products highly prefer to exist as the E-rotamer which has trans-disposed o-tert-butylphenyl group and carbonyl oxygen. The application of the present catalytic enantioselective N-arylation to an intramolecular version gives atropisomeric lactam derivatives with high optical purity (92-98% ee). The reaction of the lithium enolate prepared from the atropisomeric anilide and lactam products with various alkyl halides gives alpha-alkylated products with high diastereoselectivity (diastereomer ratio = 13:1 to 46:1).  相似文献

Pyrazolino[60]fullerene covalently-linked to ferrocene and N,N-dimethylaniline groups has been prepared and studied using time-resolved spectroscopic methods. The fluorescence quenching of the C(60) moiety indicates that charge-separation takes place via the singlet excited state of the C(60) moiety in both polar and non-polar solvents. The charge-separated state, in which an electron is localized on the C(60) sphere and a hole is located on the whole donor moieties of ferrocene, pyrazole, and N,N-dimethylaniline groups, has been confirmed by nanosecond transient spectra in the visible and near-IR spectral region. The lifetimes of the radical ion-pairs are as long as 30 - 50 ns in both polar and non-polar solvents.  相似文献

Photoinduced electron-transfer processes in cis and trans functionalized bis-18-crown-6 porphyrin self-assembled with fullerene functionalized with pyridine or alkylammonium cation entities are reported. The structural integrity of the newly formed supramolecular conjugates was accomplished by optical absorption and emission, electron spray ionization mass, electrochemistry, and semiempirical PM3 calculations. A 1:2 stoichiometry of the supramolecular porphyrin:fullerene conjugates was deduced from these studies. The conjugates revealed stable "two-point"' binding involving metal-ligand coordination and alkylammonium cation-crown ether binding or only the latter type of binding depending upon the functionality of the fullerene and metal ion in the porphyrin cavity. The effect of the variation on free energy changes of charge separation and the charge recombination was achieved by varying the metal ion in the porphyrin cavity. The charge-separation rates (k(CS)) determined from the picosecond time-resolved emission studies were generally higher for the cis bis-crown functionalized porphyrins than those of the corresponding trans ones. A comparison of the k(CS) values reported earlier for 1:1 porphyrin-fullerene conjugates with a similar self-assembly mechanism suggested that employing a higher number of acceptor entities improves the electron-transfer rates. The calculated charge-recombination rates (k(CR)) were 2-3 orders of magnitude smaller than the k(CS) values, suggesting the occurrence of the charge recombination process in the Marcus inverted region. The lifetimes of the radical ion pair (tau(RIP)) ranged between 46 and 233 ns indicating charge stabilization in the studied conjugates.  相似文献
