An innovative theoretical study of intermolecular properties of standard hydrogen-bonded complexes of H2O···HCF3, NH3···HCF3, H2O···HF, and NH3···HF is presented in this work. Several computational strategies were used, so initially the MP2/6-311++G(d,p) level of theory was applied to determine the optimized geometries by which the structural parameters, electronic properties, and the stretch vibration modes of these systems were examined. By taking into account the infrared spectrum analysis, the frequency shifted either to the red- or blue-region is the principal interpretation upon formation of intermolecular complexes. Due to this, the analysis of the interaction strengths corroborates with these vibration behaviors, and besides, the Natural Bond Orbital calculations revealed systematic changes in the percentage of the s and p orbitals, by which the stretch deformations on the proton donors (HF and HCF3) could be understood. In advance, it was quoted the appearing of intermolecular covalence in these complexes, and this event could be theoretically discovered through the topological computations based on the Bader's Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules. 相似文献

The small‐DNA human adenovirus encodes one of the most versatile molecular hubs, the E1A protein. This protein is essential for productive viral infection in human cells and a vast amount of biologically relevant data are available on its interactions with host proteins. Up to now, however, no high‐resolution structural and dynamic information on E1A is available despite its important biological role. Among the different spliced variants of E1A, two are expressed at high level in the early stage of infection. These are 243 and 289 residues isoforms. Herein, we present their NMR characterization, showing that they are both highly disordered, but also demonstrate a certain heterogeneous behavior in terms of structural and dynamic properties. Furthermore, we present the characterization of the isolated domain of the longer variant, known as CR3. This study opens the way to understanding at the molecular level how E1A functions. 相似文献

Pentrabromopseudilin and other 2 and 3-arylpyrrole derivatives were synthesized through the Heck–Matsuda reaction involving endocyclic enecarbamates and N-protected 3-pyrrolines, respectively. The overall processes permitted an easy and efficient access to these structural motifs present in several bioactive compounds. Attempts to synthesize the compound isopentabromopseudilin led to a tribromo aryl maleimide. Composites based on biocompatible thermoplastic elastomer styrene‐ethylene/butylene‐styrene (SEBS) as matrix and multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) as nanofillers show excellent mechanical and piezoresistive properties from low to large deformations. The MWCNT/SEBS composites have been prepared following a green solvent approach, to extend their range of applicability to biomedical applications. The obtained composites with 2, 4, and 5 wt % MWCNT content provide suitable piezoresistive response up to 80% deformation with a piezoresistive sensibility near 2.7, depending on the applied strain and MWCNT content. Composite sensors were also developed by spray and screen printing and integrated with an electronic data acquisition system with RF communication. The possibility to accurately control the composites properties and performance by varying MWCNT content, viscosity, and mechanical properties of the polymer matrix, shows the large potential of the system for the development of large deformation printable piezoresistive sensors. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this study the neutron activation analysis (NAA) technique was applied to determine Ca and Mg in whole blood from inhabitants
of Brazil for the purpose of establishing concentration ranges indicative of sex and age. The initiative to perform these
measurements is related to the increase in heart disease. According to recent statistics from WHO, the average is one death
due to heart attack in Brazil, every five minutes. The measures were performed considering lifestyle factors (non-smokers,
non-drinkers and no history of toxicological exposure) of Brazilian inhabitants. A healthy group constituted of male (n = 94) and female (n = 84) blood donors, ages between 18 and 70 years and above 50 kg, was selected from the blood banks and hematological laboratories
of Brazil. The influence of sex was also investigated considering several age ranges (18–29, 30–40, 41–50, >50 years). The
results show significant differences when a comparison is made by sex and age and may be useful to identify or prevent clinical
diseases. These results emphasize the need to perform periodic evaluation of Ca and Mg in blood. 相似文献
