A simple, rapid, and sensitive luminescence test method for the determination of ciprofloxacin (CIP) and norfloxacin (NOR) has been described. The method is based on the intramolecular energy transfer from organic acid to terbium (Tb3+) ion. Luminescence of terbium (III) complex with CIP (NOR), sorbed on the zeolite has been studied. ABSTRACT We study microstructure transformation in Zr–Nb system under neutron irradiation and its mechanical properties change under mechanical loads in a form of shear deformation by using phase field methodology. The developed phase field approach takes into account defects dynamics based on reaction rate theory and elastic contribution to study mechanical properties change. A numerical modeling is provided in three stages: sample preparation, irradiation of the prepared sample and mechanical loading of the irradiated sample. A precipitation of β-Niobium particles of the size of several nanometers is discussed. Results of phase field modeling indicate that β-Niobium particles grow slowly during irradiation due to point defects rearrangement. Statistical analysis of dynamics of radiation-induced microstructure transformations is provided. Simulation results of shear deformation of pre-irradiated and post-irradiated alloys are discussed. Maps of local distribution of strain and stress and strain–stress curves are obtained. Results are verified with experimental data. 相似文献

On the basis of the extended Huygens-Fresnel principle and the unified theory of coherence and polarization of light we determine the changes in various polarization properties of stochastic beams propagating through the turbulent clear-water ocean. The ocean-induced fluctuations in the refractive index are described via the recently developed power spectrum which takes into account both temperature and salinity variations. Numerical examples of changes in the spectral density, the degree of polarization and in the polarization ellipse are given for electromagnetic Gaussian Schell-model beams. We demonstrate, in particular, how polarization of the propagating beam is affected by statistical properties of the source and by several parameters of oceanic turbulence. We find that propagation of light beams in the oceanic turbulence resembles that in the atmospheric turbulence qualitatively, however evolution and asymptotic saturation of polarization in the oceanic turbulence occurs at much shorter distances. 相似文献

Summary. In this paper we consider additive Schwarz-type iteration methods for saddle point problems as smoothers in a multigrid method. Each iteration step of the additive Schwarz method requires the solutions of several small local saddle point problems. This method can be viewed as an additive version of a (multiplicative) Vanka-type iteration, well-known as a smoother for multigrid methods in computational fluid dynamics. It is shown that, under suitable conditions, the iteration can be interpreted as a symmetric inexact Uzawa method. In the case of symmetric saddle point problems the smoothing property, an important part in a multigrid convergence proof, is analyzed for symmetric inexact Uzawa methods including the special case of the additive Schwarz-type iterations. As an example the theory is applied to the Crouzeix-Raviart mixed finite element for the Stokes equations and some numerical experiments are presented.

We study bounds on averages of spectral functions corresponding to Sturm-Liouville operators on the half line for different boundary conditions. As a consequence constraints are obtained which imply existence of singular spectrum embedded in a.c. spectrum for sets of boundary conditions with positive measure and potentials vanishing in an interval [0,N]. Proteinaceous microspheres of BSA (Bovine Serum Albumin) containing an anticancer drug, Taxol (paclitaxel) were fabricated using a sonochemical procedure and then assayed for chemical and biological activity. The sonochemical reaction did not compromise the drug, which became encapsulated in the BSA microspheres. The amount of the anticancer drug in the microspheres was determined by HPLC. Anticancer activity of the proteinaceous microspheres encapsulating the Taxol was tested on Mouse Multiple Myeloma cell line MPC-11. The influence of the Taxol microspheres on the cancer cells was different from pristine Taxol. It was found that Taxol in combination with the organic solvent causes the death of cancer cells. 相似文献

We show that ringlike localized gain landscapes imprinted in focusing cubic (Kerr) nonlinear media with strong two-photon absorption support new types of stable higher-order vortex solitons containing multiple phase singularities nested inside a single core.
