In order to increase the soft X-ray conversion efficiency for the femtosecond-laser-produced plasma, we adopted a nanocylinder-array
structure target. Gold nanocylinder-array targets with 70–90 nm cylinder diameter and 100 nm cylinder pitch were made. A continuous
smooth soft X-ray spectrum adequate for X-ray absorption spectroscopy was obtained. An around 20-fold soft X-ray (7–20 nm)
fluence enhancement compared with a flat-surface gold foil target was obtained when the cylinder height was 18 μm. X-ray (>0.06 keV)
pulse duration was 17 ps, which is much shorter than that obtained by using the pre-pulse technique. The X-ray pulse peak
intensity was 7-fold higher than that of a gold foil target.

The question of whether hydrogen atoms can exist or not in spaces with a number of dimensions (D) greater than 3 is revisited. The lowest quantum mechanical stable states and the corresponding wave functions are determined by applying Numerov?s method to solve Schrödinger?s equation. States for different angular momentum quantum number and dimensionality are considered. One is lead to the result that hydrogen atoms in higher dimensions could actually exist. The most probable distance between the electron and the nucleus are then computed as a function of D showing the possibility of tiny confined states. 相似文献

Abstract A porphyrin dimer with a polyether linkage was newly synthesized and its conformational change triggered by complexation with an sodium cation was examined. It was confirmed by 1H NMR titration experiments that the dimer bearing a pentaoxyehtylene linkage (1b) was effectively formed a 1:1 complex with a sodium perchlorate.
