Double differential cross sections for the inclusive reaction 4He(π, π′)X have been measured for six pion energies between 90 and 320 MeV and an angular range from 30° to 135°. The data are interpreted in terms of the Δ-hole formalism. Medium corrections to the free π-nucleon scattering operator are important for a quantitative understanding of our results. Total inelastic cross sections are obtained and estimates for the absorption cross section are given. 相似文献

We have measured 12C-13C elastic cross sections at 12 MeV between 40°–140° in 1° steps to ±1%. The observed oscillatory interference between Coulomb scattering and the neutron transfer process is analyzed using exact finite-range DWBA, and a model-independent value of C2 = 2.55±0.10 for the asymptotic normalization of the neutron wave function in 13C is obtained. Using radial wave functions determined by elastic electron scattering the spectroscopic factor is found to be S = 0.81±0.04. 相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new approach to deal with the non-zero slacks in data envelopment analysis (DEA) assessments that is based on restricting the multipliers in the dual multiplier formulation of the used DEA model. It guarantees strictly positive weights, which ensures reference points on the Pareto-efficient frontier, and consequently, zero slacks. We follow a two-step procedure which, after specifying some weight bounds, results in an “Assurance Region”-type model that will be used in the assessment of the efficiency. The specification of these bounds is based on a selection criterion among the optimal solutions for the multipliers of the unbounded DEA models that tries to avoid the extreme dissimilarity between the weights that is often found in DEA applications. The models developed do not have infeasibility problems and we do not have problems with the alternate optima in the choice of weights that is made. To use our multiplier bound approach we do not need a priori information about substitutions between inputs and outputs, and it is not required the existence of full dimensional efficient facets on the frontier either, as is the case of other existing approaches that address this problem. 相似文献

Gramicidin A, a polypeptide antibiotic forming transmembrane ion channels, has been incorporated into a Langmuir monolayer formed by a semifluorinated alkane (SFA). In this work, partially fluorinated tetracosane, perfluorohexyloctadecane (F6H18), has been applied, aiming at finding a suitable matrix for gramicidin A to be transferred onto solid support for a biosensor design. For this purpose, the physiological conditions were of special interest (mixed monolayers containing low gramicidin proportion and the surface pressure of 30 mN/m). Mixed monolayers of gramicidin and SFA were found to be miscible within the whole range of mole fractions. A very significant increase of the stability of SFA monolayer has been found in the presence of gramicidin, even at such a low proportion as X(gramicidin) = 0.1, which is reflected in a 3.5-fold increase of the collapse pressure value of mixed monolayer as compared to the film from pure SFA. This interesting phenomenon has been interpreted as being due to the existence of a strong dipole-dipole interaction between both film-forming molecules. Opposite sign of the measured electric surface potential for gramicidin and SFA, resulting from different directions of the dipole moment vectors in both film molecules, implies that the ordered, antiparallel orientation of the dipole moments in the mixed gramicidin/SFA system can be responsible for its extremely high stability. 相似文献

We describe a facile procedure for the synthesis at low temperature (120 °C) of water-dispersible uniform YF3:Yb,Er up-conversion nanophosphors of various morphologies (rhombic and spheroidal) by homogeneous precipitation in polyol
solutions containing different lanthanide salts and an ionic liquid (1-butyl, 2-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate) as fluoride
source. It is shown that the shape of the obtained nanoparticles is mainly determined by the nature of both, the polyol and
the lanthanide precursors, which also affects to their colloidal stability in water suspensions. These morphological differences
are explained on the basis of a different mechanism of particle formation. The efficiency of the up-conversion processes in
the synthesized rhombic and spheroidal nanoparticles is also comparatively analyzed and the observed differences are justified

This paper presents several experiments on sound source localization. They are based on monaural click presented at different
interclick intervals (ICI), from 10 to 100 ms. Trains of clicks were presented to 10 healthy subjects. At short interclick
intervals the clicks were perceived as a blur of clicks having a buzzy quality. Moreover, it was proven that the accurateness
in the response improves with the increase of the length of ICI. The present results imply the usefulness of the interclick
interval in estimating the perceptual accuracy. An important benefit of this task is that this enables a careful examination
of the sound source perception threshold. This allows detecting, localizing and dividing with a high accuracy the sounds in
the environment.

A NAD+-analog was coimmobilized with lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) on reticulated vitreous carbon (RVC) to give an amperometric lactate biosensor. Both LDH and the NAD+ -analog were bound covalently with carbodiimide to the surface of the porous RVC-material. The electrode was operated in a FIA-arrangement in the presence or absence of a soluble mediator. Meldola Blue. The stability was poor when the electrode was operated at +400 mV (vs. Ag/AgCl) in the absence of mediator but improved most significantly in the presence of 5 μM mediator, so that 65% of the original activity remained after 16 days. The amperometric currents were smaller with regeneration by mediator at −100 mV than with direct electrochemical oxidation at +400 mV, indicating that the additional steps slow down the reaction rate. Linear calibration plots were obtained from the detection limit, 1 μM, to 500 μM lactate with 5 μM mediator, reoxidized at −100 mV. The sample throughput was about 60 h−1. 相似文献
