Graphene is the two-dimensional building block for carbon allotropes of every other dimensionality. We show that its electronic structure is captured in its Raman spectrum that clearly evolves with the number of layers. The D peak second order changes in shape, width, and position for an increasing number of layers, reflecting the change in the electron bands via a double resonant Raman process. The G peak slightly down-shifts. This allows unambiguous, high-throughput, nondestructive identification of graphene layers, which is critically lacking in this emerging research area. 相似文献

A self-consistent numerical model is used to investigate the effect of electronegative impurities on the ozone yield in a
dielectric barrier discharge with a pulsed voltage supply, and the range of impurity concentrations giving a substantial (two-or
threefold) increase in the ozone yield is established. Sulfur hexafluoride is considered as a representative component having
strong electronegative properties. It is shown that a tiny admixture [SF6]<0.1% can have an appreciable effect on the characteristics of an ozonator. The calculations are compared with published
experimental data and given an interpretation.

The formation of cellulose-nickel nanocomposites has been studied by WAXS, X-ray absorption spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and scanning electron spectroscopy. Changes in the experimental conditions make it possible to widely vary the size of nickel and its oxide nanoparticles in the bulk and on the surface of cellulose fibers and to monitor the localization of these nanoparticles with the structure of cellulose remaining unchanged. Analysis of a TE011 mode composite sapphire-rutile dielectric resonator has been carried out to study the temperature variation of resonance
frequency, close to the Cs atomic clock hyperfine frequency of 9.192 GHz. The complementary behavior of dielectric permittivity

A facile one‐pot approach based on a thermally induced metal‐ and solvent‐free 5‐endo‐dig cyclization reaction of the amino propargylic alcohols in combination with Dess–Martin periodinane‐promoted oxidative dearomatization of 4,5,6,7‐tetrahydroindole intermediates provides an efficient and robust access to 5,6‐dihydro‐1H‐indol‐2(4H)ones. Green, relatively mild and operationally simple characteristics of the synthetic sequence are the major advantages, which greatly amplify the developed methodology. The utility of obtained indolones as unified key precursors is demonstrated by the application of these products to the formal total syntheses of a whole pleiad of Erythrina‐ and Lycorine‐type alkaloids, namely (±)‐erysotramidine, (±)‐erysotrine, (±)‐erythravine, (±)‐γ‐lycorane, and abnormal erythrinanes (±)‐coccoline and (±)‐coccuvinine. 相似文献
