A new double pass long wavelength band erbium-doped fiber amplifier with enhanced noise figure characteristics is demonstrated. The noise figure is improved by about 2.6 dB with the incorporation of broadband conventional-band fiber Bragg grating (FBG) in between the two segments of erbium-doped fiber. By incorporating both the pre-amplifier and the FBG, the noise figure is further improved, which varies from 4.0 to 5.0 dB in the flat gain region from 1570 to 1600 nm. The gain varies from 32.0 to 33.4 dB within this region. The new amplifier with high gain and low noise figure can be useful as an inline amplifier in a wavelength division multiplexing transmission system. 相似文献

In this work a simple novel method for preparing micro- and nanoscale patterns of polymer chains grafted onto flexible polymer substrates is described. A combination of the two techniques of radiation grafting and "grafting-from" has been made. This combination makes it possible to prepare grafted structures having micro- or nanoscale lateral dimensions that are determined by the electron beam or X-ray irradiation patterns used. The height of the grafted features can be controlled by the irradiation dose or such grafting reaction conditions as time, temperature, or monomer concentration. Our first results for nanopatterned samples demonstrate resolution comparable to those of other polymer-based lithography processes. 相似文献

A novel 3-(substituted benzylideneamino)-7-chloro-2-phenyl quinazoline-4(3H)-one (7–27) has been synthesized and characterised by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. We changed the methodology for the synthesis of 3-amino 7-chloro-2-phenyl quinazolin-4(3H)-one 6 to fusion reaction at 250 °C, instead of using solvent, to avoid the problem of ring opening, which is commonly observed while synthesizing quinazolines from benzoxazinone. NCI selected, 7-chloro-3-{[(4-chlorophenyl) methylidene] amino}-2-phenylquinazolin-4(3H)-one 12, with GI50 value of ?5.59 M, TGI value of ?5.12 M, and LC50 value of ?4.40 M showed remarkable activity against CNS SNB-75 Cancer cell line. Rational approach and QSAR techniques enabled the understanding of the pharmacophoric requirement for 2,3,7-tri substituted quinazoline derivatives to inhibit EGFR-tyrosine kinase as antitumor agents and could be used as an excellent framework in this field that may lead to discovery of potent anti tumor agent. 相似文献

A systematic study on the growth of Cr2O3 in three‐dimensional cubic ordered mesoporous silica (KIT‐6) and its replication through nanocasting is reported. By changing the loading time and amount of precursor, the size and shape of the obtained replica could be controlled to some extent. More interestingly, in contrast to previously published studies, when KIT‐6 with an aging temperature of 100 °C, which has a high degree of interconnectivity, was used as a hard template, a cubic ordered mesoporous Cr2O3 replica with an open uncoupled subframework structure and reduced symmetry was obtained. Formation of a replica with different symmetry and uncoupled subframework structure is not only related to the degree of interconnectivity of the parent, but also strongly depends on the type of metal oxide and its growth mechanism in the silica template. Nanocasting of Cr2O3 with a low loading results in a replica with monomodal pore size distribution that has same symmetry as the hard template, whereas increasing the loading amount alters the symmetry of the replica and yields a replica with bimodal distribution. 相似文献

Direct selective oxidation of hydrocarbons to oxygenates by O2 is challenging. Catalysts are limited by the low activity and narrow application scope, and the main focus is on active C−H bonds at benzylic positions. In this work, stable, lead-free, Cs3Bi2Br9 halide perovskites are integrated within the pore channels of mesoporous SBA-15 silica and demonstrate their photocatalytic potentials for C−H bond activation. The composite photocatalysts can effectively oxidize hydrocarbons (C5 to C16 including aromatic and aliphatic alkanes) with a conversion rate up to 32900 μmol gcat−1 h−1 and excellent selectivity (>99 %) towards aldehydes and ketones under visible-light irradiation. Isotopic labeling, in situ spectroscopic studies, and DFT calculations reveal that well-dispersed small perovskite nanoparticles (2–5 nm) possess enhanced electron–hole separation and a close contact with hydrocarbons that facilitates C(sp3)−H bond activation by photoinduced charges. 相似文献

A mode-locked erbium doped fiber laser(EDFL) is demonstrated using the vanadium oxide(V_2O_5) material as a saturable absorber(SA). The V_2O_5 based SA is hosted into poly ethylene oxide film and attached on fiber ferule in the laser cavity. It shows 7% modulation depth with 71 MW/cm~2 saturation intensity. By incorporating the SA inside the EDFL cavity with managed intra-cavity dispersion, ultrashort soliton pulses are successfully generated with a full width at half maximum of 3.14 ps. The laser operated at central wavelength of 1559.25 nm and repetition frequency of 1 MHz. 相似文献

Nanosecond pulse generation in an erbium-doped fiber laser (EDFL) passively mode-locked by a silver nanoparticle(SNP)-based saturable absorber(SA) is experimentally demonstrated. The SA is fabricated by depositing a nanosized SNP layer onto the surface of polyvinyl alcohol film through the thermal evaporation process. By inserting the SA into an EDFL cavity, stable mode-locked operation is achieved at 1561.5 nm with the maximum pulse energy up to 52.3 nJ. The laser operates at a pulse repetition frequency of 1.0 MHz with a pulse width of 202 ns. These results suggest that SNPs could be developed as an effective SA for mode-locking pulse generation. 相似文献

We consider the initial value problem for the Klein‐Gordon equation in de Sitter spacetime. We use the central difference scheme on the temporal discretization. We also discretize the spatial variable using the finite element method with implicit and the Crank‐Nicolson schemes for the numerical solution of the initial value problem. In order to show the accuracy for the results of the solutions, we also examine the finite difference methods. We observe that the numerical results obtained by using these methods are compatible. 相似文献

The one-dimensional Klein-Gordon equation is solved for the PT-symmetric generalized Hulthén potential in the scalar coupling scheme. The relativistic bound-state energy spectrum and the
corresponding wave functions are obtained by using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method which is based on solving the second-order
linear differential equations by reduction to a generalized equation of hypergeometric type.
