Calcium-induced alginate gel beads (Alg-Ca) containing alginate hydrolysate, such as the guluronic acid block (GB), was prepared and the drug release profiles were investigated under simulated gastrointestinal conditions. The addition of GB to Alg-Ca altered its rheological properties. A model drug (hydrocortisone) was incorporated at 78% of its theoretical yield within the dried Alg-Ca containing 5% GB and it was gradually released from the beads in JP XIV 1st medium for disintegration test (pH 1.2), while it was rapidly released with disintegration of the gel matrix in JP XIV 2nd medium (pH 6.8). In contrast, for Alg-Ca containing GB and chitosan, disintegration was not observed in these media and the drug release rate was markedly different. These results demonstrate that the release profiles of drugs incorporated into Alg-Ca can be controlled by adding these polysaccharides.  相似文献

Inclusion complexes of benzo‐ and dithiabenzo‐crown ether functionalized monopyrrolotetrathiafulvalene (MPTTF) molecules were formed with Li+@C60 ( 1? Li+@C60 and 2? Li+@C60). The strong complexation has been quantified by high binding constants that exceed 106 M ?1 obtained by UV/Vis titrations in benzonitrile (PhCN) at room temperature. On the basis of DFT studies at the B3LYP/6‐311G(d,p) level, the orbital interactions between the crown ether moieties and the π surface of the fullerene together with the endohedral Li+ have a crucial role in robust complex formation. Interestingly, complexation of Li+@C60 with crown ethers accelerates the intersystem crossing upon photoexcitation of the complex, thereby yielding 3(Li+@C60)*, when no charge separation by means of 1Li+@C60* occurs. Photoinduced charge separation by means of 3Li+@C60* with lifetimes of 135 and 120 μs for 1? Li+@C60 and 2? Li+@C60, respectively, and quantum yields of 0.82 in PhCN have been observed by utilizing time‐resolved transient absorption spectroscopy and then confirmed by electron paramagnetic resonance measurements at 4 K. The difference in crown ether structures affects the binding constant and the rates of photoinduced electron‐transfer events in the corresponding complex.  相似文献

Dihydroxyoligophenylenes (HO-ArPh(m)-OHs) with 9,9-dihexyl-2,7-fluorene (Ar=Flu), 2,5-dioctyloxy-1,4-benzene (Ar=Dob), pyridine (Ar=Py), or thiophene (Ar=Th) rings were synthesized by the Suzuki coupling reaction. Absorption maxima (λmax) of HO-ArPh(m)-OHs shifted progressively toward long wavelengths due to the expansion of the π-conjugation system with an increase in the number of benzene rings. Deprotonation of the OH groups of HO-ArPh(m)-OHs by treatment with NaH caused a bathochromic shift of λmax. The bathochromic shift of the deprotonated species increased with the donor numbers (DNs) of the solvents. The emission peak positions of NaO-ArPh(m)-ONas depended on the DNs of the solvents; therefore, the emission color could be tuned by changing the solvent.  相似文献

We prepared samples of cubic γ-MoNx (x∼0.5) by high-pressure-high-temperature synthesis. N atom site occupancies within the defect rock salt structure were determined from time-of-flight neutron diffraction and powder X-ray diffraction data by Rietveld analysis. The results show that N atoms occupy only octahedral sites within the structure. The semi-metallic compound is a superconductor, with determined by SQUID magnetometry. The compressibility of the material was determined by synchrotron X-ray diffraction measurements at high pressure in the diamond anvil cell. The vibrational density of states was studied by Raman scattering spectroscopy.  相似文献

In an effort to develop an efficient synthetic method of highly diastereoselective (2′R)- and (2′S)-2′-deoxy[2′-2H]guanosines, chemoenzymatic conversion was investigated. The synthesis of (2′R > 98% de)-2′-deoxy[2′-2H]guanosine was achieved by biological transdeoxyribosylation using (2′R > 98% de)-2′-deoxy[2′-2H]uridine, 2,6-diaminopurine, and Enterobacter aerogenes AJ-11125, followed by treatment with adenosine deaminase. (2′S > 98% de)-2′-Deoxy[2′-2H]guanosine was synthesized from (2′S > 98% de)-2′-deoxy[2′-2H]uridine and 2,6-diaminopurine using thymidine phosphorylase and purine nucleoside phosphorylase instead of E. aerogenes AJ-11125.  相似文献

We report a cyclic sample pooling technique devised in two‐dimensional liquid chromatography–electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (LC‐ESI‐MS) shotgun proteomics that renders deeper proteome coverage; we combined low pH reversed‐phase (RP) LC in trifluoroacetic acid in the first dimension, followed by cyclic sample pooling of the eluate and low‐pH RP‐LC in formic acid in the second dimension. A new polymer blend composed of a hydrogenated ring‐opening polymer (HROP) with an ester group and hydroxyl functionalized polystyrene (HFP) produced the excellent transparent materials which enabled a precise birefringence control in keeping with the other physical properties for optical film use. The blend with a composition from 0.28 to 0.35 for the HFP weight fraction showed an extraordinary wavelength dispersion, transmitting through a zero birefringence point at the critical fraction of 0.45, while each polymer showed an ordinary wavelength dispersion. The observed excellent transparency even above those of the glass transition temperature was attributed to a depressed phase separation that resulted from strong hydrogen bond between the ester and hydroxyl groups. An IR analysis of the film demonstrated a remarkable red‐shift in the carbonyl peak with an increase of the hydroxylated polystyrene content, indicating a strong hydrogen bond between those groups. This new polymer blend provides a useful design to achieve practical demands for film use, both optical and mechanical under the fabrication conditions using the melt extrusion technique. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A novel application of time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) with continuous Ar cluster beams to peptide analysis was investigated. In order to evaluate peptide structures, it is necessary to detect fragment ions related to multiple neighbouring amino acid residues. It is, however, difficult to detect these using conventional ToF-SIMS primary ion beams such as Bi cluster beams. Recently, C60 and Ar cluster ion beams have been introduced to ToF-SIMS as primary ion beams and are expected to generate larger secondary ions than conventional ones. In this study, two sets of model peptides have been studied: (des-Tyr)-Leu-enkephalin and (des-Tyr)-Met-enkephalin (molecular weights are approximately 400 Da), and [Asn1 Val5]-angiotensin II and [Val5]-angiotensin I (molecular weights are approximately 1,000 Da) in order to evaluate the usefulness of the large cluster ion beams for peptide structural analysis. As a result, by using the Ar cluster beams, peptide molecular ions and large fragment ions, which are not easily detected using conventional ToF-SIMS primary ion beams such as Bi3 +, are clearly detected. Since the large fragment ions indicating amino acid sequences of the peptides are detected by the large cluster beams, it is suggested that the Ar cluster and C60 ion beams are useful for peptide structural analysis.  相似文献

Remarkable magneto‐optical properties of a new isolator material, that is, europium sulfide nanocrystals with gold (EuS–Au nanosystem), has been demonstrated for a future photo‐information technology. Attachment of gold particles that exhibit surface plasmon resonance leads to amplification of the magneto‐optical properties of the EuS nanocrystals. To construct the EuS–Au nanosystems, cubic EuS and spherical Au nanocrystals have been joined by a variety of organic linkers, that is, 1,2‐ethanedithiol (EDT), 1,6‐hexanedithiol (HDT), 1,10‐decanedithiol (DDT), 1,4‐bisethanethionaphthalene (NpEDT), or 1,4‐bisdecanethionaphthalene (NpDDT) . Formation of these systems was observed by XRD, TEM, and absorption spectra measurements. The magneto‐optical properties of the EuS–Au nanosystem have been characterized by using Faraday rotation spectroscopy. The Faraday rotation angle of the EuS–Au nanosystem is dependent on the Au particle size and interparticle distance between EuS and Au nanocrystals. Enhancement of the Faraday rotation of EuS–Au nanosystems was observed. The spin configuration in the excited state of the EuS–Au nanosystem was also investigated using photo‐assisted electron paramagnetic resonance.  相似文献
