Dilute solution properties of (styrene-p-chlorostyrene) triblock copolymers in various solvents were studied over a wide range of molecular weight and composition. Viscosity and osmotic pressure results indicate that the conformational behavior of the BmAnBm and AmBnAm copolymers (A = styrene; B = p-chlorostyrene; m and n denote the number of units) are similar in nonselective solvents such as toluene and 2-butanone, but different in selective solvents such as carbon tetrachloride and cumene. Short-range and long-range interaction parameters of the block copolymers were determined by applying the Stockmayer–Fixman method to viscosity data and also by application of the equation relating the osmotic virial coefficient and the excluded volume. The results show that the unperturbed dimensions of the block copolymers vary linearly with composition, and long-range interaction parameters in nonselective solvents can be expressed by those of the parent homopolymers, the chemical composition, and values of the interaction parameter βAB between styrene and p-chlorostyrene monomeric units.  相似文献

NeK X-rays have been measured when various thick targets were irradiated by Ne+, ++ ions. For Mg, Al and Ti targets, the X-ray yield dependence on Ne energy agrees qualitatively with the electron promotion model prediction.  相似文献

The luminescence induced by heavy charged particle irradiation has been measured. The bi-exciton lines (MT and ML) and the line at 3926 Å were observed. It is concluded that these lines arise from the densely excited region in particle tracks.  相似文献

A Ti4+-exchanged montmorillonite (Ti4+-mont) and a hydrotalcite (HT) are strong solid Br?nsted acid and base, and these two clay catalysts could be used in a single reactor without neutralization of active sites. Because the Ti4+-mont have active acid site in the narrow interlayers, the base sites of large HT particles show no interaction with the acid sites. A variety of acid and base reactions, such as esterification, acetalization, deacetalization, aldol reaction, Michael reaction, and epoxidation, proceeded using both the Ti4+-mont and the HT in a single reactor.  相似文献

The iron-sulfur cluster-free hydrogenase (Hmd) from methanogenic archaea harbors an iron-containing, light-sensitive cofactor of still unknown structure as prosthetic group. The enzyme is reversibly inhibited by CO and cyanide and is EPR silent. We report here on M?ssbauer spectra of the (57)Fe-labeled enzyme and of the isolated cofactor. The spectrum of the holoenzyme measured at 80 K revealed a doublet peak with an isomer shift delta = 0.06 mm.s(-)(1) and a quadrupole splitting of DeltaE(Q) = 0.65 mm.s(-)(1) (at pH 8.0). The signal intensity corresponded to the enzyme concentration assuming 1 Fe per mol active site. Upon addition of CO or cyanide to the enzyme, the isomer shift decreased to -0.03 mm.s(-)(1) and -0.00(1) mm.s(-)(1), and the quadrupole splitting increased to 1.38 mm.s(-)(1) and 1.75 mm.s(-)(1), respectively. The three spectra could be perfectly simulated assuming the presence of only one type of iron in Hmd. The low isomer shift is characteristic for Fe in a low oxidation state (0, +1, +2). When the spectra of the holoenzyme and of the CO- or cyanide-inhibited enzyme were measured at 4 K in a magnetic field of 4 and 7 T, the spectra obtained could be simulated assuming the presence of only the external magnetic field, which excludes that the iron in the active site of Hmd is Fe(I), high-spin Fe(0), or high-spin Fe(II). M?ssbauer spectra of the isolated Hmd cofactor are also reported.  相似文献

A series of novel emissive Ir(III) complexes having the coordination environments of [Ir(N--N--N)2]3+, [Ir(N--N--N)(N--N)Cl]2+, and [Ir(N--N--N)(N--C--N)]2+ with 2,6-bis(1-methyl-benzimidazol-2-yl)pyridine (L1, N--N--N), 1,3-bis(1-methyl-benzimidazol-2-yl)benzene (L2H, N--C--N), 4'-(4-methylphenyl)-2,2':6',2' '-terpyridine (ttpy, N--N--N), and 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy, N--N) have been synthesized and their photophysical and electrochemical properties studied. The Ir(III) complexes exhibited phosphorescent emissions in the 500-600 nm region, with lifetimes ranging from approximately 1-10 micros at 295 K. Analysis of the 0-0 energies and the redox potentials indicated that the lowest excited state of [Ir(L1)(L2)]2+ possessed the highest contribution of 3MLCT (MLCT = metal-to-ligand charge transfer) among the Ir(III) complexes, reflecting the sigma-donating ability of the tridentate ligand, ttpy < L1 < L2. The emission quantum yields (phi) of the Ir(III) complexes ranged from 0.037 to 0.19, and the highest phi value (0.19) was obtained for [Ir(L1)(bpy)Cl]2+. Radiative rate constants (k(r)) were 1.2 x 10(4) s(-1) for [Ir(ttpy)2]3+, 3.7 x 10(4) s(-1) for [Ir(L1)(bpy)Cl]2+, 3.8 x 10(4) s(-1) for [Ir(ttpy)(bpy)Cl]2+, 3.9 x 10(4) s(-1) for [Ir(L1)2]3+, and 6.6 x 10(4) s(-1) for [Ir(L1)(L2)]2+. The highest radiative rate for [Ir(L1)(L2)]2+ with the highest contribution of 3MLCT could be explained in terms of the singlet-triplet mixing induced by spin-orbit coupling of 5d electrons in the MLCT electronic configurations.  相似文献
