An ultra high performance liquid chromatography‐tandem mass spectrometric method has been developed for the highly sensitive and selective determination of regulated aflatoxins. The extraction of aflatoxins from baby food matrices were performed using liquid–liquid extraction procedure followed by immunoaffinity column cleanup. The higher sensitivity for the determination of target aflatoxins was fulfilled by applying a preconcentration step with immunoaffinity columns after acetonitrile–water extraction. The enhanced selectivity was attained with the triple quadrupole mass analyzer operated in electrospray positive ionization mode. Method validation was tested in five different baby food matrices by recovery experiments. Satisfactory recoveries, between 92 and 103%, with relative standard deviations lower than 8% were achieved in all the tested matrices. The proposed method was found to be specific as no interference peaks were observed for blank samples. The limit of detection of the method was found to be in the range of 0.003–0.008 ng/mL. The validated method was fruitfully applied to the screening of aflatoxins in baby foods and feeds sample retailed in local markets of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The obtained levels of all analyzed aflatoxins were below the regulation limits set by European Agency.  相似文献

Four methods have been developed for the simultaneous determination of phenylephrine hydrochloride and chlorpheniramine maleate without previous separation. In the first method both drugs are determined using first derivative UV spectrophotometry, with zero-crossing measurement. The second method depends on first derivative of the ratios spectra. The third method describes the use of multivariate spectrophotometric calibration for the simultaneous determination of the analyzed binary mixture where the resolution is accomplished by using partial least squares (PLS) regression analysis. In the fourth method (HPLC), a reversed-phase column and a mobile phase of methanol:water:acetonitrile (80:12:8 v/v/v/) at 0.9 ml/min flow rate have been used to separate both drugs with a UV detection at 270 nm. All the proposed methods are extensively validated. They have the advantage to be economic and time saving. All the described methods can be readily utilized for analysis of pharmaceutical formulations. The results obtained using the proposed methods are statistically analyzed and compared with some reported methods.  相似文献

New metal complexes of Schiff base (PB) prepared from condensation reaction of 2-aminopyridine and 6-formyl-5,7-dihydroxy-2-methylbenzopyran-4-one with metal ions; Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) are prepared. Different analysis tools like elemental analyses, FTIR, thermal analysis, conductivity, electronic spectra, and magnetic susceptibility measurements are all used to elucidate the structures of the newly prepared metal complexes. The free Schiff base (PB) has been examined as thermal stabilizer and co-stabilizer for rigid PVC in air, at 180 °C. Its high stabilizing efficiency is detected by its high induction period value (T s) when compared with some of the common reference stabilizers used industrially, such as dibasic lead carbonate and calcium–zinc stearate (Ca–Zn soap). Blending Schiff base or its metal complexes with Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) ions with the reference stabilizers in different ratios had a synergistic effect on the induction period (thermal stability). The stabilizing efficiency is attributed at least partially to the ability of the stabilizer to be incorporated in the polymeric chains, thus disrupting the chain degradation process.  相似文献

Diesel exhaust is one of the major sources of fine and ultrafine particulate matter in urban air. Toxicity of diesel-powered engine emissions has been quite widely assessed, however, much less information is available on their ecotoxicity. In our study the kinetic version of the Vibrio fischeri bioluminescence inhibition bioassay, based on the ISO 21338:2010 standard, was used to characterise the ecotoxicity of diesel-powered cars. The method is sensitive enough to test the ecotoxic effect of the emission of individual vehicles. In general, significant positive correlation was found between ecotoxicity (expressed as Toxic Unit /TU/values) and total carbon (TC) as well as between TU and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) concentrations.   相似文献

Three series of crosslinked octadecyl acrylate and acrylic acid copolymers were prepared through suspension copolymerization based on acrylic acid content (10, 30, 50%wt. ratio). Divinyl benzene (DVB) was used as a crosslinker with different weight ratios (1, 4 and 10%). Isopropyl alcohol or dioctyl phthalate and methyl benzoate were used as two different reaction solvents in the presence of ABIN as initiator. The prepared crosslinked copolymers were characterized by SEM, TGA and FTIR spectroscopic analyses. The prepared polymers were coated onto poly(ethylene terephethalate) nonwoven fiber (NWPET). The effect of copolymerization feed composition, crosslinker wt% and reaction media or solvent on swelling properties of crosslinked polymers were studied through the oil absorption tests in toluene and 10% of diluted crude oil with toluene. It was noticed that the maximum swelling of crosslinked copolymers was increased from 30 to 100 g/g after grafting of copolymers onto NWPET.  相似文献

Redox-active Cu(II) complexes are able to form reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the presence of oxygen and reducing agents. Recently, Faller et al. reported that ROS generation by Cu(II) ATCUN complexes is not as high as assumed for decades. High complex stability results in silencing of the Cu(II)/Cu(I) redox cycle and therefore leads to low ROS generation. In this work, we demonstrate that an exchange of the α-amino acid Gly with the β-amino acid β-Ala at position 2 (Gly2→β-Ala2) of the ATCUN motif reinstates ROS production (OH and H2O2). Potentiometry, cyclic voltammetry, EPR spectroscopy and DFT simulations were utilized to explain the increased ROS generation of these β-Ala2-containing ATCUN complexes. We also observed enhanced oxidative cleavage activity towards plasmid DNA for β-Ala2 compared to the Gly2 complexes. Modifications with positively charged Lys residues increased the DNA affinity through electrostatic interactions as determined by UV/VIS, fluorescence, and CD spectroscopy, and consequently led to a further increase in nuclease activity. A similar trend was observed regarding the cytotoxic activity of the complexes against several human cancer cell lines where β-Ala2 peptide complexes had lower IC50 values compared to Gly2. The higher cytotoxicity could be attributed to an increased cellular uptake as determined by ICP-MS measurements.  相似文献

Inspired by Arnold’s classification of local Poisson structures [1] in the plane using the hierarchy of singularities of smooth functions, we consider the problem of global classification of Poisson structures on surfaces. Among the wide class of Poisson structures, we consider the class of bm-Poisson structures which can be also visualized using differential forms with singularities as bm-symplectic structures. In this paper we extend the classification scheme in [24] for bm-symplectic surfaces to the equivariant setting. When the compact group is the group of deck-transformations of an orientable covering, this yields the classification of these objects for nonorientable surfaces. The paper also includes recipes to construct bm-symplectic structures on surfaces. The feasibility of such constructions depends on orientability and on the colorability of an associated graph. The desingularization technique in [10] is revisited for surfaces and the compatibility with this classification scheme is analyzed in detail.  相似文献

This article considers the issues of existence and regularity of solutions to the following doubly nonlinear differential inclusion $$\omega_t+\alpha (\omega_t)-\Delta \omega-\Delta_p{\omega} \ni f$$ where α is a maximal monotone operator in ${\mathbb{R}^2}$ and Δ p denotes the p-Laplacian with p > 2. The investigation on fractional regularity is based on the Galerkin method combined with a suitable basis for W 1,p , which we exhibit as a preliminary result. This approach also allows the obtaining of estimates in the so-called Nikolskii spaces, since it balances the interplay between the maximal monotone operator with the appearing higher order nonlinear terms.  相似文献
