Summary The deactivation of the H3PW12O40 (HPW) catalyst supported on TiO2 used in the isomerization reaction of a-pinene and its regeneration were studied. The regeneration of the deactivated catalyst was carried out with an air flow at 300 and 500ºC, with an ozone-enriched oxygen flow at 150ºC and by extraction with solvent and acid treatment. Only the last treatment permitted to recover its activity restoring it in 48% of its initial value.  相似文献

The effect of impurities on the CDW fluctuations is calculated in the framework of the quasi-1D metallic model with Coulomb-type interchain interaction. NearT c a generalized Ginzburg-Landau theory is applied to account for 3D fluctuations. We generalize the definition of orbifold elliptic genus and introduce orbifold genera of chromatic level h, using h-tuples rather than pairs of commuting elements. We show that our genera are in fact orbifold invariants, and we prove integrality results for them. If the genus arises from an H-map into the Morava-Lubin-Tate theory Eh, then we give a formula expressing the orbifold genus of the symmetric powers of a stably almost complex manifold M in terms of the genus of M itself. Our formula is the p-typical analogue of the Dijkgraaf-Moore-Verlinde-Verlinde formula for the orbifold elliptic genus [R. Dijkgraaf et al., Elliptic genera of symmetric products and second quantized strings Comm. Math. Phys. 185(1) (1997) 197-209]. It depends only on h and not on the genus.  相似文献

A new enantiopure cyclometallated iridium complex bearing a [4]helicenic ‐coordinating and two ‐coordinating dfppy (2‐(2,4‐difluorophenyl)‐pyridyl) ligands was prepared. This complex displayed long‐lived phosphorescence both in solution and in the solid state. Its chiroptical properties, namely electronic circular dichroism and circularly polarized luminescence, were also examined. Comparison with former chiral complexes enabled assignment of the ΔIr‐(?) and ΛIr‐(+) absolute configurations.  相似文献

The generation of bio-targetable photosensitizers is of utmost importance to the emerging field of photodynamic therapy and antimicrobial (photo-)therapy. A synthetic strategy is presented in which chelating dipyrrin moieties are used to enhance the known photoactivity of iridium(III) metal complexes. Formed complexes can thus be functionalized in a facile manner with a range of targeting groups at their chemically active reaction sites. Dipyrrins with N- and O-substituents afforded (dipy)iridium(III) complexes via complexation with the respective Cp*-iridium(III) and ppy-iridium(III) precursors (dipy=dipyrrinato, Cp*=pentamethyl-η5-cyclopentadienyl, ppy=2-phenylpyridyl). Similarly, electron-deficient [IrIII(dipy)(ppy)2] complexes could be used for post-functionalization, forming alkenyl, alkynyl and glyco-appended iridium(III) complexes. The phototoxic activity of these complexes has been assessed in cellular and bacterial assays with and without light; the [IrIII(Cl)(Cp*)(dipy)] complexes and the glyco-substituted iridium(III) complexes showing particular promise as photomedicine candidates. Representative crystal structures of the complexes are also presented.  相似文献

A new Schiff base (SCH) was prepared using 8‐acetyl‐7‐hydroxy‐4‐methylcoumarin and sulfaclozine. Its silver complex was also synthesized. These compounds were subjected to elemental and spectral analyses. The silver complex was also subjected to thermogravimetric analysis, molar conductance measurements, scanning electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray analysis and X‐ray diffraction measurements. The formula of the complex was determined as [(Ag2SCH(NO3)2]. The molar conductance indicates its non‐electrolyte character. The electronic structure and nonlinear optical parameters of SCH and its complex were investigated theoretically at the B3LYP/GENECP level. The geometry of the studied complex is non‐planar as indicated from the dihedral angles between central Ag metal ion and coordinated centres of SCH. Density functional theory calculations were also carried out to calculate the global properties of hardness, global softness and electronegativity. The calculated energy gap between HOMO and LUMO energies shows that charge transfer occurs within the studied complex. The total static dipole moment, the mean polarizability, the anisotropy of the polarizability and the mean first‐order hyperpolarizability were calculated and compared with those of urea as a reference material. The results of the mean first‐order hyperpolarizability showed that SCH and its silver complex are excellent candidates as nonlinear optical materials. The compounds were screened for their antimicrobial effect against various species of bacteria and fungi. Their anticancer activities were evaluated in vitro against the human cancer cell line MCF‐7 (human breast adenocarcinoma).  相似文献

A microbial community able to aerobically degrade the azo dye Acid Orange 7 was selected from riparian or lacustrine sediments collected at sites receiving textile wastewaters. Three bacterial strains, pertaining to the genera Pseudomonas, Arthrobacter, and Rhizobium, constitute the selected community. The biodegradation of AO7 was carried out in batch-suspended cell culture and in a continuously operated multistage packed-bed BAC reactor. The rapid decolorization observed in batch culture, joined to a delay of about 24 h in COD removal and cell growth, suggests that enzymes involved in biodegradation of the aromatic amines generated after AO7 azo-bond cleavage (1-amino-2-naphthol [1-A2N] and 4-aminobenzenesulfonic acid [4-ABS]), are inducible in this microbial consortium. After this presumptive induction period, the accumulated byproducts, measured through COD, were partially metabolized and transformed in cell mass. At all azo dye loading rates used, complete removal of AO7 and 1-A2N was obtained in the multistage packed-bed BAC reactor (PBR).; however, the overall COD (η COD ) and 4-ABS (η ABS ) removal efficiencies obtained in steady state continuous culture were about 90%. Considering the toxicity of 1-A2N, its complete removal has particular relevance. In the first stages of the packed-bed BAC reactor (Fig. 4a–c), major removal was observed. In the last stage, only a slight removal of COD and 4-ABS was obtained. Comparing to several reported studies, the continuously operated multistage packed-bed BAC reactor showed similar or superior results. In addition, the operation of large-packed-bed BAC reactors could be improved by using several shallow BAC bed stages, because the pressure drop caused by bed compaction of a support material constituted by small and fragile particles can be reduced.  相似文献
