The IR and Raman spectra of the two polymorphic forms (58 degree- and 68 degree-forms) of cis-cinnamic acid were measured, and the spectral differences discussed on the basis of the crystal structures of the two forms. The IR bands related to the COOH group differ in the frequencies and band shape, reflecting differences in the hydrogen bonding between the two modifications. These spectra were compared with those of trans-cinnamic acid. The IR, Raman, and NMR spectra of the isotopic compounds, including the deuterated and 13C analogs of the cis and trans acids, were also recorded in the solid state and in solution to confirm the spectral assignments. 相似文献

In this work, bifurcation control using a piezoelectric actuator isimplemented to stabilize the parametric resonance induced in acantilever beam. The piezoelectric actuator is attached to the surfaceof the beam to produce a bending moment in the beam. The dimensionlessequation of motion for the beam with the piezoelectric actuator on itssurface is derived and the modulation equations for the complexamplitude of an approximate solution are obtained using the method ofmultiple scales. We then acquire the bifurcation set that expresses theboundary of the stable and unstable regions. The bifurcation set ischaracterized by the modulation equations. Next, we determine the orderof feedback gains to modify these modulation equations. By actuating thepiezoelectric actuator under the appropriate feedback, bifurcationcontrol is carried out resulting in the shift of the bifurcation set andthe expansion of the stable region. The main characteristic of thestabilization method introduced above is that the work done by thepiezoelectric actuator is zero in the state where the parametricresonance is stabilized. Thus zero power control is realized in such astate. Experimental results show the validity of the proposedstabilization method for the parametric resonance induced in thecantilever beam. 相似文献

Surface modification of SiO2 using a catalyst-free quantitative reaction between an amine and an ethynyl-π-extended naphthalenediimide was investigated. A post-reaction method, in which the catalyst-free reaction was performed at the surface after the formation of amino-terminated self-assembled monolayers (SAMs), resulted in dense, uniform modification of the SiO2 surface with the naphthalenediimide molecules. Both X-ray reflectivity and angle-resolved X-ray photoemission spectroscopy showed consistent results for the layer thickness and density. In contrast, a pre-reaction method, in which an amino-silane and the ethynyl-π-extended naphthalenediimide reacted first and then formed a SAM, afforded a sparse SAM on the SiO2 surface, probably due to the steric hindrance of the naphthalenediimide moieties. The in situ decoration of the SiO2 surface by a catalyst-free quantitative reaction offers a facile route for modifying surface properties with various π-conjugated molecules suitable for many applications. 相似文献

The molecular chain orientation of mercerized cellulose II was examined by optical second harmonic generation (SHG) measurements. The SHG intensities of several kinds of mercerized cellulose II were found to be much larger than those expected for a structural model with an antiparallel molecular chain orientation as proposed by X-ray studies. Maskless etching of Mn-Zn ferrite in H3PO4 aqueous solution by Ar+-ion laser irradiation has been investigated to obtain high etching rates and aspect-ratios of etched grooves. The etching
processes have been found to be photochemical in the low laser power region and thermochemical in the high laser power region.
High etching rates of up to 340 μm/s and an aspect-ratio of 30 for slab structures have been achieved. In the case of high
aspect-ratio structure, the etching rate was limited by the low diffusion efficiency of etched products in the etchant. Periodic
