Theory of the transmission of metal strip gratings on a dielectric substrate application to submillimeter laser coupling

The advantages of supported metal strip gratings with respect to free-standing metal meshes are pointed out for applications as laser output couplers. A new, simple formula for the power transmission through the strip grating on a dielectric plate is derived from a line equivalent-circuit model. This formula is in good agreement with measurements performed on several samples, at different submillimeter wavelengths. An application to output couplers of far-infrared gas discharge lasers allows to improve the reliability of such lasers.x Unité associée au CNRS. U.A. 836.     

Shielded suspended dielectric guide

The dispersion characteristics of a shielded suspended dielectric are computed using mode matching technique. From the dispersion characteristics the dielectric and conductor loss, quality factor and wave impedances are derived. The dimensions of shielded suspended dielectric are same as that of a rectangular metallic wave guide at K_a band.     

New accurate design data for a suspended microstrip line

New design data for an open suspended microstripline is reported. Two most commonly used substrate materials, namely RT-Duroid (_r=2.22) and fused quartz (_r=3.78) are considered. Effects of dispersion and strip thickness are included in the results which are based on a fullwave spectral-domain analysis. The data, which is computed over the complete practical ranges of frequency and parameter values, is much more reliable than the currently available quasistatic results.     

A planar subharmonically-pumped 71 GHz receiver with integral feed antenna

A planar, subharmonically-pumped, hybrid millimeter-wave receiver with integral antenna is described. Coplanar waveguide filters are used to isolate the ports and provide image enhancement. The integral planar antenna has 12 dB gain and is suited for use as a feed. The main lobe is normal to the substrate surface. The receiver is designed for an instantaneous bandwidth of 10 GHz. Experiments at 71 GHz indicate single-sideband mixer conversion loss of 6.5 dB. We believe that this represents the highest level of integration yet demonstrated in this frequency range.     

椭偏光谱对复数折射率薄膜的研究——ITO膜光学常数的色散和生长规律

本文提出一个利用椭偏光谱测量复数折射率薄膜的方法。由于引入一个新的目标函数,把搜索的参量空间的维数减至四维,因此不但可以测得薄膜的光学常数和厚度,并且可同时确定衬底的光学常数。我们应用这个方法对射频溅射在硅衬底上生长的ITO膜光学常数的色散和生长规律进行了初步研究,发现硅衬底的表观光学常数也发生了变化 关键词：     

Nd2(Fe,Si)17合金的结构与磁性

本文对Nd-Fe-Si三元系富铁区域相的结构和磁性进行了研究。结果表明,Nd-Fe-Si三元系富铁区域(Fe>40at％),除出现NdFe₂Si₂三元金属间化合物外(Si>20at％),同时只出现Nd₂(Fe,Si)₁₇赝二元金属间化合物,其中Si取代9d位的Fe原子,而不能形成类似于Nd₂Fe₁₄B的三元金属间化合物,Si取代Nd₂Fe₁₇中的9d位Fe原子后,使晶胞体积缩小;使饱和磁化强度减小;同时使Fe次晶格的铁磁相互作用增强,导致居里温度增高;还使得Fe次晶格的易面各向异性减弱,造成室温下各向异性场减小。 关键词：     

非晶态NdxT1-x(T=Fe,Co,Ni)薄膜的低温磁性

本文讨论了非晶态Nd_xT_1-x(T=Fe,Co,Ni)薄膜为滋结构,以及在低温下磁化强度随温度变化的反常特性,在20K附近观测到磁化强度有陡降现象,并且在较大的成份范围内所对应的温度基本不变,我们认为,在这类非晶态合金中,当Nd含量超过一定值后,其磁中性态(通称基态)可能同时是散反铁磁性和散铁磁性的共存态,在20K附近的磁化强度发生陡降,是散反铁磁性←→顺磁性相转变的反映,这两种磁结构共存的临界成份相应约为:Nd-Fe情况x≥0.45;Nd-Co,x≥0.20;Nd-Ni,x≥0.08。 关键词：     

非晶态合金Ni64B36结构的计算机模拟(Ⅰ)——合金中的化学短程序

我们用两种不同直径球的无规密堆计算机模型模拟了Ni₆₄B₃₆金属玻璃的结构,计算了模型的简约部分径向分布函数、角分布函数及均匀度,对结构的化学短程序进行了讨论,我们的计算结果表明,在过渡金属-类金属型(TM-M)的非晶态合金中,类金属原子的相对分布是结构中化学短程序的重要特征,这一特征可以用M-M原子的部分径向分布函数中第二峰的第一个分裂次峰的位置r_c来表征。 关键词：     

WO3表面的氧缺陷

用不同能量的Ar⁺和H⁺轰击WO₃表面,观察到W_4f峰的位移和加宽。通过谱分解处理得到相应于W_4f电子的W⁶⁺,W⁴⁺和W⁰3个不同的双峰。用表面产生氧缺陷的机理解释了还原过程。UPS谱显示出氧缺陷的存在增加了靠近费密能级处的态密度。H₂O的吸附结果说明WO₃表面的活性与W^{5+< 关键词：}
