By means of the uSR method, the critical temperature Tk=(17.41 0.05) K and the inhomogenety of the internal magnetic field in Nb3Al in the mixed state for two values of external magnetic fields H=62 Oe and H=285 Oe over the temperature range 9–17 K were measured.  相似文献

None of the presently known local sources of photons whose energy exceeds 1012 eV is incompatible with the universal energy spectrum F(>E γ ) ~ E γ ?1.36±0.15 . The power of extragalactic sources is 106 to 1012 times higher than the power of galactic sources since the respective distances are longer in the former case, while the observed flux intensities are approximately identical in the two cases. A much higher power of extragalactic sources is indicative of an extragalactic cosmic-ray origin and of the existence of a universal (for all energies of protons and cosmic-ray nuclei) process that is responsible for the energy loss in the Metagalaxy and which forms the observed energy spectrum of protons and nuclei (~E 0 ?2.72 ). It is shown that there is no break in the energy spectrum of primary protons in the energy range 1015–1016 eV and that the break in the spectrum of extensive air showers with respect to the number of electrons is due to a change in the process of multiparticle hadron generation in the first event of extensive-air-shower production, this being confirmed by a change in the extensive-air-shower absorption length from λa<90 g/cm2 before the break to λa>150 g/cm2 after the break.  相似文献

Cygnus X-3 is a high mass X-ray binary and microquasar, with a compact object, which is either a neutron star or may be a black hole, and a companion object, which is a Wolf-Rayet star. The nature of the compact object is still uncertain. Cygnus X-3 galactic binary system has been regularly observed since a 1995 by SHALON Atmospheric Cherenkov telescope with the average gamma-ray flux (6.8 ± 0.7) × 10−13 cm−2 s−1. The observations of very high-energy gamma-radiation from the sources of this type would be important for understanding the nature of this astrophysical object.  相似文献

The Tycho’s supernova remnant was observed using the SHALON atmospheric Cherenkov telescope at the Tien Shan High-Altitude Observatory. This object has long been considered to be a candidate for sources of cosmic ray hadrons in the Northern Hemisphere. In [1, 2], the Tycho’s properties were described using the nonlinear kinetic model of cosmic ray acceleration in supernovae remnants. The expected γ-ray flux from π 0-decay extends to energies > 30 eV, whereas the γ-ray photon flux generated by inverse Compton scattering is cut off above several TeV. Therefore, the detection of γ-rays at energies of 10–80 TeV by the SHALON telescope is an indication of their hadron origin. From the SHALON telescope data, additional information on such parameters of the Tycho’s supernova remnant as the distance and interstellar medium density was obtained within the theory [1, 2].  相似文献

Summary The results of the Tien-Shan investigation on Extensive Air Showers suggest a disappearing fragmentation region in the processes of secondary hadron multiproduction in proton-nucleon collisions at primary cosmic-ray proton energies (1–2)·104TeV. Essential changes in the process of hadron multiproduction with a sharp energy threshold at small distances, ∼3·10−17 cm, mean the production of strongly interacting bosons with masses ≥400 GeV/c2 instead of quark-spectator hadronization. It is possible that such a subquark structure partially changes the characteristics of nucleon-nucleus inelastic collisions in a nucleon energy range 30–100 TeV. The dependence of the residual polarization of negative muons in p-type Si on temperature in the 4.2–270 K range has been investigated. Measurements were carried out in external magnetic field of 0.08 T transverse to the muon spin. The impurity concentration in the sample was 2 · 1013 cm–3. Muon spin relaxation was observed at temperatures below 30 K. The relaxation rate atT=30 K is equal to 0.18±0.08s–1. The relaxation rate grows with the decrease of temperature and at 4.2 K exceeds 30s–1. The value of the residual polarization at zero timeP(t=0) is constant within the investigated temperature range.In the rangeT<30 K data on the relaxation rate are well described by the dependence =B·T–q, whereq=2.75. Power dependence of may evidence the essential role of the phonon mechanism in the relaxation of the electron momentum of the acceptor center.The authors express their gratitude to V.B.
