Silver is accumulated to high concentrations in certain microbial strains. Here a bomb digestion method is proposed, using HNO3 and HCl, for the extraction and digestion of silver and silver compounds from the organic matrix. The method is applicable for the quantitative determination of silver by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy.  相似文献

To investigate the appearance of localized phonon modes, superconductive tunneling was performed into films of Pb0·9M0·1 (M = Ag, Cd, Ga, Ge, In, Mg, Mg, Sb, Sn, Te, Zn) and Pb0·97Sn0·03. The films were quench-condensed and later annealed at 30, 100 and 300°K. Structure in tunneling curves resulting from localized phonons was observed only for a well annealed In alloy film. For most of the impurities an absence of observable local phonon modes could be explained as due to a lack of solid solubility or of sufficient structural order in the film. For Na and Sn alloys, however, these arguments cannot be used. No modes could be seen for such alloys even in films condensed at room temperature, heat-treated slightly, and quenched directly into liquid helium.  相似文献

Superconducting transition temperatures (T c) and electron tunneling characteristics have been measured on amorphous, vapour quenched films of Ga and Bi in the thickness range 3 to 50 nm. TheT c's are depressed and the tunnel densities of states are smeared as compared to bulk superconductors. A model considering the proximity effect between an extremely thin non-superconducting sheath (presumably due to the decrease of electron concentration at the surfaces) and a remaining bulk superconducting part gives good agreement withT c measurements, while the predicted tunnel density of states is only in qualitative correspondence with experiments.  相似文献

Five two-photon excitable dipyrrylmetheneboron difluoride labels (dipyrrylmethene-BF2 labels) with fluorescence emission maximum between 530 and 590 nm, and a frequently used rhodamine label, TAMRA, were conjugated to aminomodified oligonucleotides. The performance of the labeled oligonucleotides was studied in a separation-free nucleic acid hybridization assay using ArcDia TPX bioaffinity assay technology. The results show that oligonucleotide conjugates of dipyrrylmethene-BF2 labels provide higher two-photon excited fluorescence yield and better assay sensitivity than corresponding TAMRA conjugate. The effect of conjugation on photophysical properties of the labels and performance of the labeled oligonucleotides in separation-free hybridization assay is discussed.  相似文献

Recently introduced bioaffinity assay technology, ArcDia TPX, is based on two-photon excited fluorescence (TPE) and it enables separation-free ultra-sensitive immunoassays from microvolumes. Here we present syntheses of novel two-photon excitable fluorescent labeling reagents which have been specially designed to be used as label molecules in the ArcDia TPX assay technique. The labeling reagents are based on dipyrrylmetheneboron difluoride (dipyrrylmethene-BF2) chromophore, which have been substituted with aryl, heteroaryl or arylalkenyl chemical groups to extend the pi-electron conjugation. These substitutions results in a series of dipyrrylmethene-BF2 fluorophores with different photophysical properties. Dipyrrylmethene-BF2 fluorophores have been further substituted with a dipeptide linker unit and finally activated as succinimidyl esters to enable specific coupling with primary amino groups. The dipeptide linker serves as a spacer arm between the label and a target, and enhances the solubility of the label in aqueous solutions. Study of the chemical and photophysical performance of the new labeling reagents is described. The new labeling reagents exhibit high fluorescence quantum yields, and molar absorption coefficients. The results show that the new labels with the hydrophilic dipeptide linker unit provide large two-photon excitation cross-sections, high fluorescence quantum efficiency and good solubility in aqueous solutions. The results suggest that the novel dipyrrylmethene-BF2 labels are highly applicable to bioaffinity assays based on two-photon excitation of fluorescence.  相似文献

A mixture of triethoxysilanefunctionalized poly(ethylene glycol), f-PEG, and tetraethoxysilane, TEOS, was used as precursors in the preparation of continuous hybrid f-PEG-siloxane sol–gel derived fibers. The fibers were spun by extrusion through a spinneret. The thus prepared fibers had a diameter of 20–50 m. 29Si-CPMAS NMR measurements confirmed that the functionalized PEG is incorporated into the siloxane network through covalent bonds. The hybrid fiber elasticity was much higher than that of fibers spun from sols with TEOS as the only source for silica. However, the f-PEG chain length plays a crucial role for the spinnability of the sol, since, as a result of bridging flocculation, macroscopic phase separation occurred readily with increasing chain length of the f-PEG. The fibers were shown to be effective substrates for the nucleation and growth of bone-like hydroxyapatite.  相似文献

Reactive DC magnetron sputtering was used to grow thin films of Ni (93%)-V (7%) oxide and Ni (62%)-Al (38%) oxide. Both films showed electrochromism in KOH. The addition of Al diminished the luminous absorbance significantly, while the charge capacity was maintained. The chemical composition of the hydro-distilled essential oils of Achillea millefolium and Achillea crithmifolia was analyzed by GC, GC–MS, 13C NMR and high resolution LC–MS. For the first time, the use of the combination of different chromatographic and spectral methods, primarily the advantage of LC-Orbitrap over standard methods, enabled the detection of azulenes and their progenitors, in minute quantities, in previously believed proazulene free Achillea taxon (A. crithmifolia). Furthermore, the LC-Orbitrap hyphenated method provided the means for detection of these and related non-volatile (GC-injector compared to water steam distillation) metabolites up to know unreported as essential oil constituents.  相似文献
