The paper studies the dynamics of rational maps with indifferentparabolic points by comparing their dynamical properties withthose of their ‘jump transformation’ which is uniformlyexpanding on a non-compact set with infinite Markov partition.It establishes the spectral properties of a two-variables operator-valuedfunction associated to the jump transformation and exploitstheir dynamical relevance to allow the analytic properties ofthe pressure, the escape rate from a neighbourhood of the Juliaset and the asymptotic distribution of pre-images to be studied.  相似文献

Directed Cp*RhIII‐catalyzed carbon–hydrogen (C H) bond functionalizations have evolved as a powerful strategy for the construction of heterocycles. Despite their high value, the development of related asymmetric reactions is largely lagging behind due to a limited availability of robust and tunable chiral cyclopentadienyl ligands. Rhodium complexes comprising a chiral Cp ligand with an atropchiral biaryl backbone enables an asymmetric synthesis of isoindolones from arylhydroxamates and weakly alkyl donor/acceptor diazo derivatives as one‐carbon component under mild conditions. The complex guides the substrates with a high double facial selectivity yielding the chiral isoindolones in good yields and excellent enantioselectivities.  相似文献

Laser-accelerated electron pulses have been used to irradiate human tumors grown on mice’s ears during radiobiological experiments. These experiments have been carried out with the JETI laser system at the Institute of Optics and Quantum Electronics in Jena, Germany. To treat a total of more than 50 mice, a stable and reliable operation of the laser-electron accelerator with a dose rate exceeding 1 Gy/min was necessary. To achieve this, a sufficient number of electrons at energies in excess of 5 MeV had to be generated. The irradiation time for a single mouse was a few minutes. Furthermore, the particle pulses’ parameters needed to remain achievable for a time period of several weeks. Due to the online detection of the radiation dose, the unavoidable shot-to-shot fluctuations, currently still typical for laser-based particle accelerators, could be compensated. The results demonstrate that particle pulses generated with laser-based accelerators have the potential to be a future alternative for conventional particle accelerators used for the irradiation of tumors.  相似文献

An enantioselective C?H arylation of phosphine oxides with o‐quinone diazides catalyzed by an iridium(III) complex bearing an atropchiral cyclopentadienyl (Cpx) ligand and phthaloyl tert‐leucine as co‐catalyst is reported. The method allows access to a) P‐chiral biaryl phosphine oxides, b) atropo‐enantioselective construction of sterically demanding biaryl backbones, and also c) selective assembly of axial and P‐chiral compounds in excellent yields and diastereo‐ and enantioselectivities. Enantiospecific reductions provide monodentate chiral phosphorus(III) compounds having structures and biaryl backbones with proven importance as ligands in asymmetric catalysis.  相似文献

Two crystal structures of the mononuclear copper(I)-nitrosyl complexes [Cu(L3)(NO)] (1) and [Cu(L3')(NO)](ClO4) (2) with the related coligands L3- (hydrotris(3-tert-butyl-5-isopropyl-1-pyrazolyl)borate) and L3' (tris(3-tert-butyl-5-isopropyl-1-pyrazolyl)methane) are presented. These compounds are then investigated in detail using a variety of spectroscopic methods. Vibrational spectra show nu(N-O) at 1698 cm(-1) and nu(Cu-NO) split at 365/338 cm(-1) for 1, which translates to force constants of 12.53 (N-O) and 1.31 mdyn/A (Cu-NO), respectively. The weak Cu-NO force constant is in agreement with the observed instability of the Cu-NO bond. Interestingly, complex 2 with the neutral coligand L3' shows a stronger N-O bond, evident from nu(N-O) at 1742 cm(-1). This difference is attributed to a true second coordination sphere effect, where the covalency of the Cu(I)-NO bond is not altered. The EPR spectrum of 1 is in agreement with the Cu(I)-NO(radical) electronic structure of the complexes, as obtained from density functional theory (DFT) calculations. In addition, an interesting trend between g parallel(gz) and the Cu-N-O angle is established. Finally, high-quality MCD spectra of 1 are presented and assigned using TD-DFT calculations. Based on the in-depth spectroscopic characterization of end-on bound NO to copper(I) presented in this work, it is possible to determine the binding mode of the Cu-NO intermediate of Cu nitrite reductase studied by Scholes and co-workers (Usov, O. M.; Sun, Y.; Grigoryants, V. M.; Shapleigh, J. P.; Scholes, C. P., J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2006, 128, 13102-13111) in solution as strongly bent (approximately 135 degrees) but likely not side-on.  相似文献

Nonribosomal peptide synthetases are modular proteins that operate in an assembly line fashion to bind, modify, and link amino acids. In the E. coli enterobactin NRPS system, the EntE adenylation domain catalyzes the transfer of a molecule of 2,3-dihydroxybenzoic acid to the pantetheine cofactor of EntB. We present here the crystal structure of the EntB protein that contains an N-terminal isochorismate lyase domain that functions in the synthesis of 2,3-dihydroxybenzoate and a C-terminal carrier protein domain. Functional analysis showed that the EntB-EntE interaction was surprisingly tolerant of a number of point mutations on the surface of EntB and EntE. Mutational studies on EntE support our previous hypothesis that members of the adenylate-forming family of enzymes adopt two distinct conformations to catalyze the two-step reactions.  相似文献

As a tribute to the scientific work of Professor Gareth Thomas in the field of structure-property relationships this paper delineates a new possibility of Lorentz transmission electron microscopy (LTEM) to study the magnetic properties of soft magnetic films. We show that in contrast to the traditional point of view, not only does the direction of the magnetization vector in nano-crystalline films make a correlated small-angle wiggling, but also the magnitude of the magnetization modulus fluctuates. This fluctuation produces a rapid modulation in the LTEM image. A novel analysis of the ripple structure in nano-crystalline Fe-Zr-N film corresponds to an amplitude of the transversal component of the magnetization deltaMy of 23 mT and a longitudinal fluctuation of the magnetization of the order of deltaMx = 30 mT. The nano-crystalline (Fe99Zr1)1-xNx films have been prepared by DC magnetron reactive sputtering with a thickness between 50 and 1000 nm. The grain size decreased monotonically with N content from typically 100 nm in the case of N-free films to less than 10 nm for films containing 8 at%. The specimens were examined with a JEOL 2010F 200 kV transmission electron microscope equipped with a post column energy filter (GIF 2000 Gatan Imaging Filter). For holography, the microscope is mounted with a biprism (JEOL biprism with a 0.6 microm diameter platinum wire).  相似文献
