A mild and new procedure for the selective cleavage of an alkoxycarbonyl group (Boc, CBz) in N,N-dicarbamoyl-protected amino compounds is described. The method is based on the use of lithium bromide in acetonitrile and is compatible with a large range of other functionalities present in the substrates. Compared with other reported methodologies, the procedure is particularly useful for the Cbz-selective cleavage in N,N-Ts,Cbz-diprotected amines. A rationalization of the selectivity supported by ab initio calculations is also presented.  相似文献

An experimental setup that coupled IR multiple‐photon dissociation (IRMPD) and laser‐induced fluorescence (LIF) techniques was implemented to study the kinetics of the recombination reaction of dichlorocarbene radicals, CCl2, in an Ar bath. The CCl2 radicals were generated by IRMPD of CDCl3. The time dependence of the CCl2 radicals’ concentration in the presence of Ar was determined by LIF. The experimental conditions achieved allowed us to associate the decrease in the concentration of radicals to the self‐recombination reaction to form C2Cl4. The rate constant for this reaction was determined in both the falloff and the high‐pressure regimes at room temperature. The values obtained were k0 = (2.23 ± 0.89) × 10?29 cm6 molecules?2 s?1 and k = (6.73 ± 0.23) × 10?13 cm3 molecules?1 s?1, respectively.  相似文献

We report a series of copper(II) artificial metallo-nucleases (AMNs) and demonstrate their DNA damaging properties and in-vitro cytotoxicity against human-derived pancreatic cancer cells. The compounds combine a tris-chelating polypyridyl ligand, di-(2-pycolyl)amine (DPA), and a DNA intercalating phenanthrene unit. Their general formula is Cu-DPA-N,N' (where N,N'=1,10-phenanthroline (Phen), dipyridoquinoxaline (DPQ) or dipyridophenazine (DPPZ)). Characterisation was achieved by X-ray crystallography and continuous-wave EPR (cw-EPR), hyperfine sublevel correlation (HYSCORE) and Davies electron-nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) spectroscopies. The presence of the DPA ligand enhances solution stability and facilitates enhanced DNA recognition with apparent binding constants (Kapp) rising from 105 to 107 m −1 with increasing extent of planar phenanthrene. Cu-DPA-DPPZ, the complex with greatest DNA binding and intercalation effects, recognises the minor groove of guanine–cytosine (G-C) rich sequences. Oxidative DNA damage also occurs in the minor groove and can be inhibited by superoxide and hydroxyl radical trapping agents. The complexes, particularly Cu-DPA-DPPZ, display promising anticancer activity against human pancreatic tumour cells with in-vitro results surpassing the clinical platinum(II) drug oxaliplatin.  相似文献

Here, we studied the influence of the methoxyl groups attached at C‐7 and C‐2′ of natural and synthetic 1‐arylindanes on the chemical shift of the signal of bibenzylic hydrogen and carbon atoms and J1,2 coupling constants. This influence was also analysed in natural 1‐aryltetralins and related compounds that possess methoxyl and/or hydroxyl groups bound at C‐8 and C‐2′. The methoxyl groups attached at C‐7 in indanes or at C‐8 in tetralins produce a deshielding signal at H‐1 and shield at C‐1 and a strong decrease in the value of J1,2 due to the pseudoequatorial location adopted by the aryl group bound at C‐1, avoiding an ‘A1,3 strain’. Furthermore, compounds with hydroxyl or methoxyl groups in C‐2′, in the absence of substituents of C‐7 or C‐8, present a strong deshielding signal at H‐1, strong shield of the C‐1 signal and a decrease in the value of J1,2. This is attributed to the stereoelectronic effects of the methoxyl or hydroxyl groups, which we have called ‘Asarone effect’. NOESY experiments were conducted to confirm the configuration and conformation of some of the compounds included in this work. This study shows that both effects, A1,3 strain and Asarone effect, must be taken into account when the structure of natural indanes and tetralins is analysed by using 1H‐NMR and 13C‐NMR spectra. We previously reported the synthesis and characterization of new organometallic chalcones derived from ferrocene, cyrhetrene and cymantrene functionalized with a benzo‐15‐crown‐5 fragment. The ferrocene and cyrhetrene chalcones have been investigated as chemosensors for metal ions with optical response in acetonitrile. Several metal ions were selected considering the diameter of the cavity and the charge‐to‐radius ratio of the cation. The stoichiometry of the complexes was determined using Job's method. It was found that Na+ and Ca2+ complexes have a 1:1 stoichiometry while a 2:1 (metaloligand‐to‐cation) stoichiometry was determined for Ba2+ and Pb2+ complexes. The association constants were calculated according to the stoichiometry of the complex and the results showed that they are directly affected by the electron‐withdrawing nature of the organometallic fragment. Moreover, complexes of ferrocenyl chalcone have larger association constants than those of the cyrhetrenyl analogue. This experimental observation is consistent with the electronic properties of the ferrocenyl fragment.  相似文献
