We study single conjugated polyphenylene oligomers consisting of 3n (2 ≤ n ≤ 12) phenyl units by means of cryogenic scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy. The spatially resolved local densities of states reveal a progressive development of a continuous conduction band out of discrete molecular orbitals as the length of the oligomers increases. The experimental results are satisfactorily described by tight-binding calculations which gave a conduction band bandwidth of 4.5 ± 0.2 eV and a band gap of 3.1 ± 0.2 eV for an infinitely long polymer. We observed two types of defects, known as conformational torsional angle misfit and metasite kink. Tight-binding as well as density-functional theory model calculations confirm that both types of defects effectively destroy the delocalization. 相似文献

Let \(p\) and \(q\) be two odd primes with \(p=Mf+1\) and \(M\) is even. A new construction of \(M\) -ary sequences of period \(pq\) with low periodic autocorrelation is presented in this paper based on interleaving the \(M\) -ary power residue sequence of period \(p\) according to the quadratic residue with respect to \(q\) . This construction can generate the well-known twin-prime sequence and generalized cyclotomy sequence of order two if \(M=2\) . For \(M=4\) , a new class of quaternary sequences of period \(pq\) with maximal nontrivial autocorrelation value being either \(\sqrt{5}\) or \(3\) is obtained. Electric-pulse induced resistance hysteresis switching loops for Pr0.7Ca0.3MnO3 perovskite oxide films were found to exhibit an additional sharp "shuttle tail" peak around the negative pulse maximum for films deposited in an oxygen-deficient ambient. The resistance relaxation in time of this "shuttle tail" peak as well as resistance relaxation in the transition regions of the resistance hysteresis loop show evidence of oxygen diffusion under electric pulsing, and support a proposed oxygen diffusion model with oxygen vacancy pileup at the metal electrode interface region as the active process for the nonvolatile resistance switching effect in transition-metal oxides. 相似文献

The “far‐field” effect of metal nanoparticles (NPs), when chromophores localized nearby metal NPs (typically the distance >λ/10), is an important optical effect to enhance emission in photoluminescence. The far‐field effect originates mainly from the interaction between origin emission and mirror‐reflected emission, resulting in the increased irradiative rate of chromophores on the mirror‐type substrate. Here, the far‐field effect is used to improve emission efficiency of polymer light‐emitting diodes (PLEDs). A universal performance improvement is achieved for the full visible light (red, green, blue) PLEDs, utilizing gold (Au) NPs to modify the indium tin oxide (ITO) substrates; this is shown by experimental and theoretical simulation to mainly come from the far‐field effect. The optimized distance, between the NPs and chromophores with visible light emission ranging from 400 to 700 nm, is 80–120 nm. Thus the scope of the far‐field may overlap the light‐emitting profile very well to enhance the efficiency of optoelectronic devices. The 30–40% enhancement is obtained for different color‐emitting materials through distance optimization. The far‐field effect is demonstrated to enhance device performance for materials in the full‐visible spectral range, which extends the optoelectric applications of Au NPs. 相似文献

Ten coumarin derivatives containing(E)-methyl 2-(methoxyimino)-2-phenylacetate were synthesized and bioassayed.The compounds were identified by IR,~1H NMR and elemental analyses.The test results indicated that compound 5j(R~1 is methyl and R~2 is n-C_6H_(13)) was the optimal structure in this paper with good fungicidal activity against CDM(85%) at 6.25 mg/L concentration. 相似文献
