Pharmaceutical counterfeiting has become a significant public health problem worldwide and new, rapid, user-friendly, reliable and inexpensive methods for drug quality screening are needed. This work illustrates the chemical characterization of genuine and fake artesunate antimalarial tablets by portable Raman spectroscopy and validation by FT-Raman spectroscopy and ambient mass spectrometry. The applicability of a compact and robust portable Raman spectrometer (TruScan™) for the in situ chemical identification of counterfeit tablets is reported.  相似文献

Epitaxial ultrathin titanium dioxide films of 0.3 to approximately 7 nm thickness on a metal single crystal substrate have been investigated by high resolution vibrational and electron spectroscopies. The data complement previous morphological data provided by scanned probe microscopy and low energy electron diffraction to provide very complete characterization of this system. The thicker films display electronic structure consistent with a stoichiometric TiO(2) phase. The thinner films appear nonstoichiometric due to band bending and charge transfer from the metal substrate, while work function measurements also show a marked thickness dependence. The vibrational spectroscopy shows three clear phonon bands at 368, 438, and 829 cm(-1) (at 273 K), which confirms a rutile structure. The phonon band intensity scales linearly with film thickness and shift slightly to lower frequencies with increasing temperature, in accord with results for single crystals.  相似文献

Differing degrees of assortativity in matching can be expected to have both genetic and cultural determinants. When assortativity is subject to evolution, the main result of Alger and Weibull (Econometrica 81:2269–2302 2013) on the evolution of stable other-regarding preferences does not hold. We have determined the structure of a complex rhodium carbonyl chloride [Rh(CO)2Cl] molecule adsorbed on the TiO2(110) surface by the normal incidence x-ray standing wave technique. The data show that the technique is applicable to reducible oxide systems and that the dominant adsorbed species is undissociated with Rh binding atop bridging oxygen and to the Cl found close to the fivefold coordinated Ti ions in the surface. A minority geminal dicarbonyl species, where Rh-Cl bond scission has occurred, is found bridging the bridging oxygen ions forming a high-symmetry site.  相似文献

For a finite solvable group G and prime number p, we use elementary methods to obtain an upper bound for \mathfrak mp(G){\mathfrak {m}_{p}(G)} , defined as the number of maximal subgroups of G whose index in G is a power of p. From this we derive an upper bound on the total number of maximal subgroups of a finite solvable group in terms of its order. This bound improves existing bounds, and we identify conditions on the order of a finite solvable group under which this bound is best possible.  相似文献

High-resolution functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) at high field (9.4 T) has been used to measure functional connectivity between subregions within the primary somatosensory (SI) cortex of the squirrel monkey brain. The hand-face region within the SI cortex of the squirrel monkey has been previously well mapped with functional imaging and electrophysiological and anatomical methods, and the orderly topographic map of the hand region is characterized by a lateral to medial representation of individual digits in four subregions of areas 3a, 3b, 1 and 2. With submillimeter resolution, we are able to detect not only the separate islands of activation corresponding to vibrotactile stimulations of single digits but also, in subsequent acquisitions, the degree of correlation between voxels within the SI cortex in the resting state. The results suggest that connectivity patterns are very similar to stimulus-driven distributions of activity and that connectivity varies on the scale of millimeters within the same primary region. Connectivity strength is not a reflection of global larger-scale changes in blood flow and is not directly dependent on distance between regions. Preliminary electrophysiological recordings agree well with the fMRI data. In human studies at 7 T, high-resolution fMRI may also be used to identify the same subregions and assess responses to sensory as well as painful stimuli, and to measure connectivity dynamically before and after such stimulations.  相似文献
