A new method is described for building up anomeric glycosyl sulfoxides, via the formation of transient glycosulfenic acids and their addition to unsaturated acceptors. Thermolysis of alpha- and beta-3-[(2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-D-glucopyranosyl)sulfinyl]propanenitriles affords 1-glucosulfenic acids, which are reacted in situ with common substituted alkynes. The obtained (R(S),E)-2-[(2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-alpha-D-glucopyranosyl)sulfinyl]-2-butendioates are involved as enantiopure sulfinyl dienophiles in Diels-Alder reactions with 2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene to evaluate the role that the sugar moiety plays in the steric control of the cycloaddition. This chemistry provides a direct synthetic strategy for the stereocontrolled connection between thioglycon and aglycon moieties, thus offering the basis for an easy elaboration of new molecules incorporating thiosugar residues.  相似文献

A novel class of polymers was obtained by insertion of dirhodium(II,II) metal systems into a methacrylate backbone; the synthesis was realized by free radical polymerization of an appropriate methacrylate-functionalized dirhodium polymer precursor, namely [Rh2(form)2(MA-COO)2](form =N,N'-di-p-tolylformamidinate)(MA-COO = 2-(methacroyloxy)ethyl-phthalate), with methylmethacrylate (MMA); the new copolymers, in solution, show reversible CO-absorption, connected to the axial reactivity of dirhodium(II,II) species.  相似文献

Different extraction and purification methods are described here to determine medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) in pork meat and serum. Spiked samples are investigated over the concentration range of MPA 0.5-20 ng/g. Pork meat tissues are subjected to extraction using organic solvent, and pork serum is simply diluted with acetate buffer. Clean-up is performed using solid-phase extraction on a C18 cartridge, and MPA is eluted with ethanol. Aliquots are injected into a high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry system. MPA content is determined on the basis of m/z 387-327 and 387-123 transitions.  相似文献

We discuss a model for the autocatalytic reaction A + B→ 2A on substrates where the reactants perform a compact exploration of the space, i.e., on lattices whose spectral dimension d͂ is < 2. For finite systems, the total time τ for the reaction to end scales according to two different regimes, for high and low concentrations of reactants. The functional dependence of τ on the volume of the substrate and the concentration of reactants is discussed within a mean-field approximation. Possible applications are discussed.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] l-Cysteine is a stimulating starting product for the generation of transient sulfenic acids, such as 4, 6, 9, and 15, which add to suitable acceptors, allowing formation of sulfoxides showing a biologically active residue. These sulfoxides are easily isolated in enantiomerically pure form. For instance, N-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-l-cysteine methyl ester (1a) furnished in few steps sulfenic acid 9a, which was readily converted into (R,S(S))-(2-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-2-methoxycarbonyl-ethylsulfinyl)ethene (22), the methyl ester of Boc-protected nor-alliin. Moreover, the addition of 9a to 2-methyl-1-buten-3-yne has led to a sulfur epimeric and separable mixture of (R)-2-(2-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-2-methoxycarbonyl-ethylsulfinyl)-3-methyl-buta-1,3-dienes 10a and 11a, still possessing a "masked" sulfenic acid function, producible from their cysteine moieties once the dienes have been converted into the desired derivatives.  相似文献

Neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer′s disease (AD), Parkinson’s disease (PD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and multiple sclerosis (MS), currently represent major unmet medical needs. Therefore, novel therapeutic strategies are needed in order to improve patients’ quality of life and prognosis. Since oxidative stress can be strongly involved in neurodegenerative diseases, the potential use of inosine, known for its antioxidant properties, in this context deserves particular attention. The protective action of inosine treatment could be mediated by its metabolite urate. Here, we review the current preclinical and clinical studies investigating the use of inosine in AD, PD, ALS, and MS. The most important properties of inosine seem to be its antioxidant action and its ability to raise urate levels and to increase energetic resources by improving ATP availability. Inosine appears to be generally safe and well tolerated; however, the possible formation of kidney stones should be monitored, and data on its effectiveness should be further explored since, so far, they have been controversial. Overall, inosine could be a promising potential strategy in the management of neurodegenerative diseases, and additional studies are needed in order to further investigate its safety and efficacy and its use as a complementary therapy along with other approved drugs.  相似文献
