Lysergol, elymoclavine (Δ9,10 and Δ8,9 regioisomers), and dihydrolysergol are important members of ergolines. The present work reports their comparative study in gas and solvent phase (water) that has been performed both experimentally and theoretically. Theortical calculations have been carried within the density functional theory formalism to analyze the structural and electronic properties of these molecules with B3LYP hybrid exchange–correlational fuctional in conjunction with 6‐311++G (d,p) basis set. Hessian calculations are performed at B3LYP/6‐31G (d,p) level of theory in gas phase as well as other solvent phases. Solvent phase calculations are performed using Onsager reaction field model as implemented in Gaussian 03. A good agreement has been found between experimental and theoretical infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra. The calculated NMR data has been analyzed statistically. Stability of these regioisomers has been analyzed in terms of the energy gap between highest occupied molecular orbital and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (HOMO–LUMO gap). Calculations for lysergol and elymoclavine in water as solvent were carried to examine the effect of solvent on the HOMO–LUMO levels and energy of these molecules. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

A sensitive analytical procedure based on solid phase extractive-spectrophotometry has been established for the determination of the widely used herbicide atrazine .The method is based on the Konig reaction in which atrazine reacts with pyridine reagent to form a quaternary pyridinium halide, which further forms glutaconic aldehyde in the presence of alkali. Glutaconic aldehyde is subsequently coupled with 4-aminoacetanilide in the micellar medium of anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulphate to give a yellow-orange dye. The produced dye was enriched on a C18 cartridge and is measured spectrophotometrically at 460 nm. The sensitivity and selectivity of the method was largely enhanced in the micellar media and SPE on the C18 cartridge and avoids the use of toxic solvents. Beer’s law was obeyed in the range 0.012–0.12 μg mL?1. Molar absorptivity and Sandell’s sensitivity were found to be 1.52 × 10L mol? 1 cm?1 and 0.0002 μg cm?2, respectively. The limit of detection and quantification were 0.001 and 0.003 μg mL?1, respectively. The proposed method was applied successfully for the determination of atrazine in environmental and biological samples with a recovery range of 96–101 %. The method was found to be free from interference of a large number of foreign species. The accuracy and reliability of the method was further established by parallel determination by the reference method, and by recovery studies.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method for the determination of nimesulide in bulk, in pharmaceutical dosage form, and in biological fluids was developed. The method is based on the reduction of the nitro group of nimesulide by zinc and hydrochloric acid followed by diazotization, and coupling with orcinol in basic medium to form a stable chromophore, which absorbs at 465 nm. The method showed a good linearity in the range 0.4–4.0 μg mL?1. Partial least square modeling as a powerful multivariate statistical tool is also applied, compiled, and compared for determination of nimesulide. The experimental matrix for the partial least square calibration method was designed with 24 samples. The cross-validation was used for selecting the number of factors. The root mean square error prediction (RMSEP) and the relative error of prediction (REP %) were 0.089 and 3.95, respectively. The developed method is free from the interference of common excipients used in pharmaceutical dosages. The method was also used for the determination of nimesulide in pharmaceutical dosages as well as in human serum and urine samples.  相似文献

Hybrid nanobeads containing either a manganese-oxo or manganese-iron-oxo cluster have been prepared via the miniemulsion polymerization technique. Two new ligand substituted oxo clusters, Mn(12)O(12)(VBA)(16)(H(2)O)(4) and Mn(8)Fe(4)O(12)(VBA)(16)(H(2)O)(4) (where VBA = 4-vinylbenzoate), have been prepared and characterized. Polymerization of the functionalized metal-oxo clusters with styrene under miniemulsion conditions produced monodispersed polymer nanoparticles as small as ~60 nm in diameter. The metal-oxo polymer nanobeads were fully characterized in terms of synthetic parameters, composition, structure, and magnetic properties.  相似文献

A reaction of Cp(2)Ti(SH)(2) with n-BuSnCl(OH)(2) gave two unusual ionic compounds; the cation in both is a hexatitanium cluster, [Cp(6)Ti(6)O(8)](2+), while the anion is a six membered cyclic (chair form) [n-Bu(3)Sn(3)Cl(SH)(3)(S)(3)](-) in one and acyclic [n-Bu(3)Sn(3)Cl(3)(SH)(3)(S)(2)](-) in the other. Besides X-ray crystallography, theoretical studies have also been completed to understand the structures of these complexes.  相似文献

The structure and electronic and optical properties of hydrogenated lithium clusters Li(n)H(m) (n = 1-30, m ≤ n) have been investigated by density functional theory (DFT). The structural optimizations are performed with the Becke 3 Lee-Yang-Parr (B3LYP) exchange-correlation functional with 6-311G++(d, p) basis set. The reliability of the method employed has been established by excellent agreement with computational and experimental data, wherever available. The turn over from two- to three-dimensional geometry in Li(n)H(m) clusters is found to occur at size n = 4 and m = 3. Interestingly, a rock-salt-like face-centered cubic structure is seen in Li(13)H(14). The sequential addition of hydrogen to small-sized Li clusters predicted regions of regular lattice in saturated hydrogenated clusters. This led us to focus on large-sized saturated clusters rather than to increase the number of hydrogen atoms monotonically. The lattice constants of Li(9)H(9), Li(18)H(18), Li(20)H(20), and Li(30)H(30) calculated at their optimized geometry are found to gradually approach the corresponding bulk values of 4.083. The sequential addition of hydrogen stabilizes the cluster, irrespective of the cluster size. A significant increase in stability is seen in the case of completely hydrogenated clusters, i.e., when the number of hydrogen atoms equals Li atoms. The enhanced stability has been interpreted in terms of various electronic and optical properties like adiabatic and vertical ionization potential, HOMO-LUMO gap, and polarizability.  相似文献

The necessity for precision labeling of proteins emerged during the efforts to understand and regulate their structure and function. It demands selective attachment of tags such as affinity probes, fluorophores, and potent cytotoxins. Here, we report a method that enables single‐site labeling of a high‐frequency Lys residue in the native proteins. At first, the enabling reagent forms stabilized imines with multiple solvent‐accessible Lys residues chemoselectively. These linchpins create the opportunity to regulate the position of a second Lys‐selective electrophile connected by a spacer. Consequently, it enables the irreversible single‐site labeling of a Lys residue independent of its place in the reactivity order. The user‐friendly protocol involves a series of steps to deconvolute and address chemoselectivity, site‐selectivity, and modularity. Also, it delivers ordered immobilization and analytically pure probe‐tagged proteins. Besides, the methodology provides access to antibody‐drug conjugate (ADC), which exhibits highly selective anti‐proliferative activity towards HER‐2 expressing SKBR‐3 breast cancer cells.  相似文献

Dichlorotitanium(IV) trithiophosphates of the type TiCl2[(RO)P(S)S2] (where R = Me, Et, Prn, Pri, Bun, Bus, Bui, Ami, Ph and cyclohexyl) have been synthesized for the first time by the reaction of titanium tetrachloride with potassium trithiophosphates in a 1:1 molar ratio in anhydrous benzene. Sol-gel chemistry of these titanium(IV) compounds has been studied in dry benzene by treatment with hydrogen sulfide gas. These newly synthesized derivatives have been characterized by elemental analysis (C, H, S, Cl, and Ti), molecular weight measurement, and spectral [IR and multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, and 31P)] studies. The bonding mode of trithiophosphate ligands and tentative structure around titanium(IV) are discussed.  相似文献
