Results of an investigation of the path dependence of the critical current density J c due to the plastic deformation of the flux line lattice in a weakly pinned YBa2Cu3O7-δ (YBCO) crystal for H‖c are reported. The procedure of minor hysteresis loops has been used to explore the path dependence of J c and the metastability effects. Contrary to the behavior observed in low T c systems. in YBCO it is found that at low temperatures, the multivaluedness in J c(H) could persist beyond the notional peak field H p, at which the anomalous variation in J c(H) reaches its maximum value.  相似文献

Carbon dots (CDs) have become one of the most emerging materials as an alternative solar light-induced photocatalyst in contrast to traditional metal-based systems. However, one of the major challenges is the lack of visible light absorption. Herein, we have fabricated unique N, P-co-doped CDs with a self-assembled onion-like layered structure by using a bottom-up facile synthesis technique from chitosan gel and phosphoric acid as molecular precursors. This typical layered structure of N, P-co-doped carbon nano onions (N, P-CNOs), with an average size of 25–50 nm, displays an enhanced visible light absorption. Detailed structural and elemental characterizations confirm the extensive aromatic domain with P-containing surface functionalities, while electrochemical study clarifies the lowering of band gaps as well as the creation of new electronic states in comparison to the pristine N-CDs. Furthermore, the intrinsic structural features are correlated with the underpinning photophysical processes by steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy. In addition, steady-state polarized emission and thermo-responsive PL properties have been carried out to unveil further the structure-property correlation of N, P-CNOs, and their comparative study with pristine N-CDs at the different excitation wavelengths. Finally, N, P-CNOs exhibit efficient visible-light-induced photocatalysis, and the detailed mechanistic study is carried out by trapping the photogenerated species in an aqueous medium. The prepared N, P-CNOs displayed an excellent visible-light photocatalytic performance over MB dye with a degradation efficiency of 75.8% within 120 min along with a degradation rate constant of ∼0.0109 min−1. It is concluded that the easy to synthesize and low-cost N, P-CNOs with a unique morphology hold great potential for application in visible-light photocatalysis.  相似文献

Protein-polymer conjugates exhibit superior properties to unmodified proteins, generating a high demand for these materials in the fields of medicine, biotechnology, and nanotechnology. Multimeric conjugates are predicted to surpass the activity of monomeric conjugates. Herein, we report a straightforward method to synthesize multimeric polymer-conjugates. Four armed poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (pNIPAAm) was synthesized by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization in the presence of a tetra-functionalized trithiocarbonate chain transfer agent (CTA). The polymer molecular weight, architecture and polydispersity index (PDI) were verified by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), dynamic light scattering gel permeation chromatography (DLS-GPC), and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometry. This approach afforded well-defined polymers (PDI's < 1.06) and the ability to target various molecular weights. Maleimide functional groups were introduced at the chain ends by heating the polymers in the presence of a furan-protected azo-initiator. This allowed for site-specific conjugation of V131C T4 lysozyme to the polymers to generate multimeric protein-polymer conjugates. MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, electrospray ionization gas-phase electrophoretic-mobility macromolecule analysis (ESI-GEMMA), gel electrophoresis, and liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) of the trypsin digests demonstrated that multimeric protein-polymer conjugates had formed. This simple strategy provides ready access to star protein-polymer conjugates for application in the fields of drug discovery, drug delivery, and nanotechnology.  相似文献
