We have calculated the vibrational frequencies of clusters of atoms from the first principles by using the density-functional theory in the local density approximation (LDA). We are also able to calculate the electronic binding energy for all of the clusters of atoms from the optimized structure. We have made clusters of BanOm (n, m=1-6) and have determined the bond lengths, vibrational frequencies as well as intensities in each case. We find that the peroxide cluster BaO2 occurs with the O-O vibrational frequency of 836.3 cm(-1). We also find that a glass network occurs in the material which explains the vibrational frequency of 67 cm(-1). The calculated values agree with those measured from the Raman spectra of barium peroxide and Ba-B-oxide glass. We have calculated the vibrational frequencies of BaO4, GeO4 and SiO4 each in tetrahedral configuration and find that the vibrational frequencies in these systems depend on the inverse square root of the atomic mass.  相似文献

We develop a suitable delivery system for niaouli essential oil (NEO) using a nanoemulsification method for acne vulgaris. Prepared nanoemulsions (NEs) were characterized for droplet dimension, rheology, surface charge, and stability. The ability of NEO formulations against Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis was investigated and all formulations showed antiacne potential in vitro. Ex vivo permeation studies indicated significant improvement in drug permeations and steady state flux of all NEO-NEs compared to the neat NEO (p < 0.05). On the basis of the studied pharmaceutical parameters, enhanced ex vivo skin permeation, and marked effect on acne pathogens, formulation NEO-NE4 was found to be the best (oil (NEO; 10% v/v); Kolliphor EL (9.25% v/v), Carbitol (27.75% v/v), and water (53% v/v)). Concisely, the in vitro and ex vivo results revealed that nanoemulsification improved the delivery as well as bioactivities of NEO significantly.  相似文献

A new optical security system is proposed using a shifted phase-encoded joint transform correlation (JTC) architecture. In the proposed technique, at first, the address code is fed into two channels where one channel is shifted by 180°. The output signals from both the channels are phase-masked and then added with the input image to be encrypted. The joint power spectrum (JPS) obtained from one channel is subtracted from the JPS of the other channel, and the modified JPS is inverse Fourier transformed to yield the encrypted image. For decryption, the received signal is Fourier transformed and multiplied by the phase mask and the address code, which is then inverse Fourier transformed to generate the output signal. The proposed technique does not require complex conjugate of the address code otherwise required in the classical double random phase encryption. Also the decryption result is much more enhanced when compared to the output generated by alternate JTC techniques. Computer simulation results verify that the encryption and decryption are very much secure and efficient in both noise-free and noisy conditions.  相似文献

The performance of an optical wideband wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) communication system is analyzed considering the effects of stimulated Raman scattering, fiber attenuation and chromatic dispersion. Improved models for the Raman gain and the fiber attenuation constant are proposed, which yield better and reliable performance results of the WDM system. Effect of fiber chromatic dispersion is also investigated and it is observed that dispersion can suitably be selected to overcome the limitations imposed by the stimulated Raman scattering phenomenon.  相似文献

Luteolin (LUT) is a natural pharmaceutical compound that is weakly water soluble and has low bioavailability when taken orally. As a result, the goal of this research was to create self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery systems (SNEDDS) for LUT in an attempt to improve its in vitro dissolution and hepatoprotective effects, resulting in increased oral bioavailability. Using the aqueous phase titration approach and the creation of pseudo-ternary phase diagrams with Capryol-PGMC (oil phase), Tween-80 (surfactant), and Transcutol-HP (co-emulsifier), various SNEDDS of LUT were generated. SNEDDS were assessed for droplet size, polydispersity index (PDI), zeta potential (ZP), refractive index (RI), and percent of transmittance (percent T) after undergoing several thermodynamic stability and self-nanoemulsification experiments. When compared to LUT suspension, the developed SNEDDS revealed considerable LUT release from all SNEDDS. Droplet size was 40 nm, PDI was <0.3, ZP was −30.58 mV, RI was 1.40, percent T was >98 percent, and drug release profile was >96 percent in optimized SNEDDS of LUT. For in vivo hepatoprotective testing in rats, optimized SNEDDS was chosen. When compared to LUT suspension, hepatoprotective tests showed that optimized LUT SNEDDS had a substantial hepatoprotective impact. The findings of this investigation suggested that SNEDDS could improve bioflavonoid LUT dissolution rate and therapeutic efficacy.  相似文献

以球磨后的粉煤灰磁珠(MS)颗粒为磁核,通过溶胶凝胶法和反相微乳液法依次包覆SiO2和壳聚糖(CS),制备了MS@SiO2@CS磁性微球。利用扫描电镜及能量色散谱仪、热重分析仪、红外光谱仪、X射线衍射仪、振动样品磁强计对所得样品的结构和磁性进行了系统表征。结果表明,磁珠颗粒表面实现了逐层包覆,较均匀的分散于壳聚糖基体中,MS@SiO2@CS微球的比饱和磁化强度可达7.04 emu·g-1。Cu2+离子吸附实验表明,所得磁性壳聚糖微球对Cu2+具有良好的吸附能力,最大吸附量可达11.08 mg·g-1;而且可通过磁选法高效固液分离。吸附动力学研究表明,MS@SiO2@CS微球对Cu2+离子的吸附符合准二级动力学模型,以化学吸附为主。  相似文献

With the use of ab initio X-ray powder diffraction, a family of isostructural crystalline porous coordination networks, [(ZnX(2))(3)(TPT)(2)](n)· (solvent) (X = I, Br, Cl), has been studied at elevated temperatures of 573-723 K. Upon heating, all three networks exhibited crystalline-to-amorphous-to-crystalline (CAC) phase transformations to three new networks, [(ZnI(2))(3)(TPT)(2)](n), [(ZnBr(2))(3)(TPT)(2)](n)·(H(2)O) and [(ZnBr(2))(μ-Br)(ZnBr)(TPT)](n), and [(ZnCl(2))(μ-Cl)(ZnCl)(TPT)](n), respectively. A set of control experiments was used to obtain detailed mechanistic aspects of the CAC transformations. We demonstrate how bonds are broken and formed in these significant molecular rearrangements and how the initial arrangement plays a crucial role in the formation of the new networks after the CAC transformations. The structural information in the amorphous phase is retained and passed from a metastable to a more stable crystal, thus, reinforcing the notion that coordination networks are flexible and chemically active.  相似文献

Monodisperse NiFe nanoparticles with different compositions have been successfully synthesized by surfactant free simple modified polyol method. In the process, polyethylene glycol was used as a solvent media and it has been found to play a key role to act as a reducing agent as well as a stabilizer simultaneously. XRD, TEM, and EDS analysis techniques were used to characterize the synthesized nanoparticles. TEM images displayed formation of a thin oxide layer around the nanoparticles, and confirmed by detection of some oxygen element using EDS measurement. The magnetic properties of the synthesized NiFe NPs samples were measured by vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) at room temperature, and the saturation magnetization value was found to be iron content dependent.  相似文献
