On the Dirichlet problem generated by the Maz’ya–Sobolev inequality

We discuss the attainability of sharp constants for the Maz’ya–Sobolev inequalities in wedges, “perturbed” wedges and bounded domains. This gives also the solvability of boundary value problems to semilinear equations with critical growth and “fat” singularity at the boundary.     

Exact constants in Poincaré type inequalities for functions with zero mean boundary traces

In this paper, we investigate Poincaré type inequalities for the functions having zero mean value on the whole boundary of a Lipschitz domain or on a measurable part of the boundary. We find exact and easily computable constants in these inequalities for some basic domains (rectangles, cubes, and right triangles) and discuss applications of the inequalities to quantitative analysis of partial differential equations. Influence of the nature of liquid anion exchanger on the selectivity of anion selective electrodes

Selectivity coefficients of ion-selective electrodes on the basis of liquid anion exchangers, a quaternary phosphonium salt, and 20 higher quaternary ammonium and other nitrogen-containing salts differing in the length of hydrocarbon radicals, the nature of the quaternary nitrogen atom, and the presence of polar groups near to the exchange center with respect to 17 mineral, organic, and metal complex anions are presented. The effect of the nature of the anion-exchanger on the anion selectivity is discussed.     

Capelli identities for classical Lie algebras

Composition and structure of fluorinated graphite compounds with camphor

Intercalation compounds of fluorinated graphite (ICFG) with camphor are investigated by IR spectroscopy, chromatography, and X-ray phase and element analyses. It is shown that camphor ICFG of first-degree filling (identity period ～11.6 Å) can exist at room temperature.     

On the stability of the detonation front in tetranitromethane-nitrobenzene and tetranitromethane-nitromethane liquid composite HEs

The stability of the detonation front and the detonation parameters of composite liquid HEs of fueloxidizer type prepared from tetranitromethane, nitrobenzene, and nitromethane are studied using laser interferometry.
