ABC triblock copolymers are known to exhibit a wide variety of unique types of morphologies compared to AB diblock copolymers. In the present study, poly(styrene-block-(ethylene-alt-propylene)-block-(methyl methacrylate)) (SEPM) triblock copolymers were synthesized and their morphologies were extensively studied by transmission electron microtomography (TEMT). In the SEPM triblock copolymer, two kinds of morphologies coexist: One was the well-known knitting morphology, and the other was a novel morphology called the “ladder morphology”. The ladder morphology was a major morphology in the SEPM copolymer, the stability of which was discussed in terms of the interfacial area and the solubility parameters between the three components. 相似文献

In order to study the S11(1535) resonance in the nuclear medium, total cross sections of the (γ, η) reactions on C, Al and Cu have been measured for photon energies between 680 and 1000 MeV. A broad resonance due to the excitation and decay of the S11 resonance in the nucleus has been clearly observed for the first time. The apparent energy and width of the resonance are 900 and 300 MeV, respectively. Model calculations based on the quantum molecular dynamics have been performed. A comparison of the calculations with the data indicates that the S11 resonance in nuclei should have a larger width; the width of about 250 MeV is required while the elementary one is about 150 MeV. 相似文献

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are nanomaterials with many potential applications due to their excellent mechanical and physical properties. In this paper, we proposed that CNTs with clamped boundary condition under axial tensile loads were considered as CNT-based resonators. Moreover, the resonant frequencies and frequency shifts of the CNTs with attached mass were investigated based on two theoretical methods, which are Euler–Bernoulli beam theory and Rayleigh’s energy method. Using the present methods, we analyzed and discussed the effects of the aspect ratio, the concentrated mass and the axial force on the resonant frequency of the CNTs. The results indicate that the length of CNTs could be easily changed and could provide higher sensitivity as nanomechanical mass sensor. Moreover, the resonant frequency shifts of the CNT resonator increase significantly with increasing tensile load acting on the CNTs. 相似文献

We study the bandwidth and the pathwidth of multi-dimensional grids. It can be shown for grids, that these two parameters are equal to a more basic graph parameter, the vertex boundary width. Using this fact, we determine the bandwidth and the pathwidth of three-dimensional grids, which were known only for the cubic case. As a by-product, we also determine the two parameters of multi-dimensional grids with relatively large maximum factors. 相似文献

Double-layer graphene sheets (DLGSs) have potential applications as nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS) resonators due to their specific carrier spectrum of electrons. In this study, analysis of the vibration modes of NEMS resonators using simply supported circular DLGSs has been undertaken based on nonlocal thin plate theory. Considering the properties of DLGSs, the vibration mode of circular DLGSs can be divided into an in-phase mode (IPM) and an anti-phase mode (APM). The range of resonance frequencies in the IPM is much larger than in the APM because of the influence of van der Waals forces. Nonlocal effects significantly influence the resonance frequency of circular DLGSs in higher vibration modes and at lower aspect ratios. 相似文献

Radial buckling stresses of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) need to be studied in high-pressure resonance Raman scattering spectrum. In this work, the closed-form expression of the critical buckling stress of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) under hydrostatic pressure is derived that can be conveniently employed. Using the derived formulae, the critical buckling stresses of single-walled carbon nanotubes and double-walled carbon nanotubes with different diameters are calculated. The results are in good agreement with other reported literatures. In addition, the critical buckling stresses of each layer of a quintuple-walled CNT in different buckling modes are predicted, showing that the buckling instability can occur not only in the outermost rolled layer, but also in other rolled layer of MWCNTs by considering different diameters and buckling modes. 相似文献
