A Mn(I) tricarbonyl complex of a 1,3-diferrocenyl-1-oxopentadienyl ligand was synthesised adventitiously by what seems to be an in-situ aldol-like condensation of two acetylferrocene units promoted by benzyl-Mn(CO)5. X-ray structural analysis of this unexpected product confirms the η5 coordination of the 1,3-diferrocenyl-1-oxopentadienyl ligand to the Mn(CO)3 moiety. The nature of the metal-ligand bonding relationship was studied by theoretical calculations; it outlines the charge unbalance (polarisation) at the oxopentadienyl moiety as well as the lack of ketone character of the latter Mn-bound ligand.  相似文献

A tetra- and a hepta-homopeptide from the C(alpha)-tetrasubstituted Aib (alpha-aminoisobutyric acid) residue were covalently linked to the POEPOP resin by the fragment-condensation approach. The conformational preferences of the two model peptides were determined for the first time on a solid support by means of high-resolution magic angle spinning NMR spectroscopy. The results obtained indicate that the Aib homopeptides adopt a regular 3(10)-helical structure even when they are covalently bound to a polymeric matrix, and thus confirm the remarkable conformational stability of the peptides rich in this amino acid. An ATR-FTIR spectroscopic investigation, performed in parallel, also confirmed that these polymer-bound peptides do indeed adopt a helical conformation. The results of this study open the possibility to exploit the peptide-resin conjugates based on C(alpha)-tetrasubstituted alpha-amino acids as helpful, structurally organized templates in molecular recognition studies or as catalysts in asymmetric synthesis.  相似文献

The design and synthesis of two families of molecular-gear prototypes is reported, with the aim of assembling them into trains of gears on a surface and ultimately achieving controlled intermolecular gearing motion. These piano-stool ruthenium complexes incorporate a hydrotris(indazolyl)borate moiety as tripodal rotation axle and a pentaarylcyclopentadienyl ligand as star-shaped cogwheel, equipped with five teeth ranging from pseudo-1D aryl groups to large planar 2D paddles. A divergent synthetic approach was followed, starting from a pentakis(p-bromophenyl)cyclopentadienyl ruthenium(II) complex as key precursor or from its iodinated counterpart, obtained by copper-catalyzed aromatic Br/I exchange. Subsequent fivefold cross-coupling reactions with various partners allowed high structural diversity to be reached and yielded molecular-gear prototypes with aryl-, carbazole-, BODIPY- and porphyrin-derived teeth of increasing size and length.  相似文献

DFT calculations are performed on a model mixed-valence system presenting a double exchange phenomenon. Due to the intrinsic multireference character of the lowest Ms components of the spin states, it is shown that the interactions involved in the double-exchange model cannot be simply extracted from the DFT energies as it is sometimes done. It is, however, possible to extract from different DFT single determinant energies the interactions of a generalized Hubbard Hamiltonian, from which, in a second step, the double-exchange spectrum may be evaluated. The problems generated by the charge and spin polarization are discussed in both symmetric and non symmetric geometries, and the sensitivity of the results to the choice of the density functional is illustrated.  相似文献

The terpy-derived (terpy=terpyridine) ligand 1 has an extended W shape in which the two appended photoactive pyrenyl groups are held apart. On binding of a zinc(II) ion with a terpy group, ligand 1 is converted into complex 2 whereby it adopts a U shape, thus stacking the aromatic units. This structural modification leads to a very pronounced change in photophysical properties: from a highly fluorescent free ligand to a very weakly emitting complex. The W/U structural switching can be reversibly induced by the addition of a competitive tren ligand, which binds and releases a zinc(II) ion under protonation/deprotonation cycles, thus leading to oscillations in light emission. Therefore, the present system performs periodic modulation of optical output through a nanomechanical shape-flipping motion, triggered by metal ion binding and fuelled by acid-base neutralisation energy. Overall, it represents an ion-triggered opto-mechanical supramolecular device.  相似文献

The specific and covalent labeling of fusion proteins with synthetic molecules opens up new ways to study protein function in the living cell. Here we present a novel method that allows for the specific and exclusive extracellular labeling of proteins on the surfaces of live cells with a large variety of synthetic molecules including fluorophores, protein ligands, or quantum dots. The approach is based on the specific labeling of fusion proteins of acyl carrier protein with synthetic molecules through post-translational modification catalyzed by phosphopantetheine transferase. The specificity and versatility of the labeling should allow it to become an important tool for studying and manipulating cell surface proteins and for complementing existing approaches in cell surface engineering.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a reduced representation of molecules of pharmacological interest based on their chemical functions. The proposed representations of the molecules are obtained by a topological analysis of their electron density maps at medium resolution, leading to graphs of critical points. The distribution of the different types of critical points are compared at various levels of resolution for a training set of 22 molecules in order to define the optimal resolution level leading to the best representation of the various chemical functions. The reduced representations can in the future be used for molecular similarity research and pharmacophore proposals.  相似文献

In the course of our studies on Cerpegin analogues synthesis, a serendipitous reactivity of enaminolactone nitrile has been observed. Instead of expecting iminocerpegins, we have gained new class of substituted 2-aminopyridines. The methodology has been applied on a wide range of primary amines, as aliphatic, aromatic, heteroaromatic and also, diamines, hydrazines and chiral amines.  相似文献

A flexible synthetic access to six-membered L- and D-iminosugar C-glycosides is reported starting from the easily available 6-azido-6-deoxy-2,3,4-tri-O-benzyl-D-glucopyranose precursor. This methodology involves a highly diastereoselective tandem ring enlargement/alkylation and a stereocontrolled ring contraction. It allows an efficient synthesis of iminosugar C-glycosides displaying structural diversity at both C-1 and C-6.  相似文献
