The sequential addition of CN? or CH3? and electrophiles to three perfluoroalkylfullerenes (PFAFs), Cs‐C70(CF3)8, C1‐C70(CF3)10, and Csp‐C60(CF3)2, was carried out to determine the most reactive individual fullerene C atoms (as opposed to the most reactive C?C bonds, which has previously been studied). Each PFAF reacted with CH3? or CN? to generate metastable PFAF(CN)? or PFAF(CH3)22? species with high regioselectivity (i.e., one or two predominant isomers). They were treated with electrophiles E+ to generate PFAF(CN)(E) or PFAF(CH3)2(E)2 derivatives, also with high regioselectivity (E+=CN+, CH3+, or H+). All of the predominant products, characterized by mass spectrometry and 19F NMR spectroscopy, are new compounds. Some could be purified by HPLC to give single isomers. Two of them, C70(CF3)8(CN)2 and C70(CF3)10(CH3)2(CN)2, were characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. DFT calculations were used to propose whether a particular reaction is under kinetic or thermodynamic control.  相似文献

Unprotected 5-(4-nitrophenyl)-10,15,20-triphenylporphyrin and 5,10-bis(4-nitrophenyl)-15,20-diphenylporphyrin react in the presence of a base at low temperature with carbanions (which bear a leaving group X at the carbanionic center) affording vicarious nucleophilic substitution of hydrogen (VNS) products in good yields (50-89%). The reactivity is explained in terms of the predominance of the porphyrin N-anion resonance forms at this temperature.  相似文献

The membrane and solute diffusion properties of Cladophora cellulose and polypyrrole (PPy) functionalized Cladophora cellulose were analyzed to investigate the feasibility of using electroactive membranes in hemodialysis. The membranes were characterized with scanning electron microscopy, ζ-potentiometry, He-pycnometry, N2 gas adsorption, and Hg porosimetry. The diffusion properties across the studied membranes for three model uremic toxins, i.e. creatinine, vitamin B12 and bovine serum albumin, were also analyzed. The characterization work revealed that the studied membranes present an open structure of weakly negatively charged nanofibers with an average pore size of 21 and 53 nm for pristine cellulose and PPy-Cladophora cellulose, respectively. The results showed that the diffusion of uremic toxins across the PPy-Cladophora cellulose membrane was faster than through pure cellulose membrane, which was related to the higher porosity and larger average pore size of the former. Since it was found that the average pore size of the membranes was larger than the hydrodynamic radius of the studied model solutes, it was concluded that these types of membranes are favorable to expand the Mw spectrum of uremic toxins to also include conditions associated with accumulation of large pathologic proteins during hemodialysis. The large average pore size of the composite membrane could also be exploited to ensure high-fluxes of solutes through the membrane while simultaneously extracting ions by an externally applied electric current.  相似文献

We present for the first time the Raman microspectroscopic identification and characterization of individual airborne volcanic ash (VA) particles. The particles were collected in April/May 2010 during research aircraft flights, which were performed by Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt in the airspace near the Eyjafjallajökull volcano eruption and over Europe (between Iceland and Southern Germany). In addition, aerosol particles were sampled by an Electrical Low Pressure Impactor in Munich, Germany. As references for the Raman analysis, we used the spectra of VA collected at the ground near the place of eruption, of mineral basaltic rock, and of different minerals from a database. We found significant differences in the spectra of VA and other aerosol particles (e.g., soot, nitrates, sulfates, and clay minerals), which allowed us to identify VA among other atmospheric particulate matter. Furthermore, while the airborne VA shows a characteristic Raman pattern (with broad band from ca. 200 to ca. 700 cm?1 typical for SiO2 glasses and additional bands of ferric minerals), the differences between the spectra of aged and fresh particles were observed, suggesting differences in their chemical composition and/or structure. We also analyzed similarities between Eyjafjallajökull VA particles collected at different sampling sites and compared the particles with a large variety of glassy and crystalline minerals. This was done by applying cluster analysis, in order to get information on the composition and structure of volcanic ash.

Although the affinity of metallocorroles to axial ligands is quite low, this is not the case when the chelated element is phosphorus. This work is hence focused on the mechanism of ligand exchange of six-coordinate phosphorus corroles as a tool for affecting their chemical and physical properties. These fundamental investigations allowed for the development of facile methodologies for the synthesis of a large series of complexes and the establishment of several new structure/activity profiles that may be used to understand and predict spectroscopic features and for tailor-made modification of photophysical and electrochemical properties. This is exemplified by the facile access to complexes with terminal groups that are of large potential for practical applications based on click chemistry, optical imaging, and surface science.  相似文献

Monodisperse dye-containing crosslinked particles are promising for application in novel optical chemical sensors due to their intrinsic sensitivity. However, preparation of these particles in aqueous media still remains a challenge, since luminophores inhibit radical processes or else cannot embed into polymer chains because of difference in monomer reactivity ratios. In this work, novel dye-containing monodisperse crosslinked particles were prepared and characterized. In order to obtain dye-containing monodisperse crosslinked particles, we studied seed copolymerization of styrene in the presence of divinylbenzene. The influence of nature and concentration of the used comonomers and co-solvents on shape, size distributions and surface characteristics of the particles formed was investigated. Shapes and diameters of the particles were analyzed by DLS, TEM and SEM. The data of SEM and optical spectroscopy studies demonstrated that the synthesized particles were able to self-assemble into thin-film three-dimensional ordered structures. Finally, the structures under study are promising for development of sensor devices with optical response to acetone.  相似文献

A stir bar microextraction (SBSE) procedure for the determination of seven strobilurin fungicides in fruit samples using liquid chromatography (LC) and diode array detection (DAD) has been developed. The samples were sonicated in the presence of ethanol before submitting the extracts to SBSE. The incorporation of drazoxolon as an internal standard before SBSE allowed calibration without the need to use the standard additions method. Under the optimized conditions, detection limits were in the 0.3–2 ng g−1 range, corresponding to trifloxystrobin and metominostrobin, respectively. The SBSE–LC–DAD procedure showed good repeatability (RSD below 11% in all cases) and provided recoveries of 80–105% from spiked samples. The method was applied to fifteen fruit samples, and low levels of pyraclostrobin and trifloxystrobin were found in two of them.  相似文献

Ceramides are important intracellular second messengers that play a role in the regulation of cell growth, differentiation and programmed cell death. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of these second messengers requires sensitive and specific analytical methods to detect endogenous levels of individual ceramide species and to differentiate between them. Nine synthetic ceramides were separated by liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry on a C18 bonded silica column. The lipids were eluted in gradient elution mode using a mixture of water, acetonitrile and 2-propanol as mobile phase. They were detected by reaction monitoring performed on positive ion electrospray generated ions. Collision-induced fragmentations conducted on ceramides produced a well characteristic product ion at m/z 264, making multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) well suited for various ceramides quantitative measurements. After optimization of the extraction step, the proposed methodology was able to identify and quantify different ceramide species issued from human cancer cells. The method could be validated for C16, C18 and C20 ceramides, quantified at the nanogram level. The validation exhibits good results with respect to linearity, accuracy and precision.  相似文献
