A new and efficient method for the synthesis of hitherto unreported spiro[benzo[4,5]thiazolo[3,2-a]chromeno[2,3-d]pyrimidine-14,3′-indoline]-1,2′,13(2H)-triones was developed via the Domino Knoevenagel condensation–Michael addition–intermolecular cyclization sequences of isatin derivatives, cyclohexane-1,3-diones, and 2-hydroxy-4H-benzo[4,5]thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidin-4-ones, employing 12-tungstophosphoric acid (H3PW12O40) as an effective and inexpensive catalyst.  相似文献

Aryl-triazino-benzimidazole-2-thiones were synthesized via three-component reaction between ammonium thiocyanate, benzoyl chlorides, and 2-aminobenzimidazole in acetone. The structure of the products was confirmed by NMR, FT‐IR, and mass spectrometer. The corrosion behaviors of these compounds on carbon steel in 2 M HCl solution were investigated by scanning electrochemical microscopy, operated in the substrate-generation/tip-collection mode using Fe2+/Fe3+ redox couple as redox mediator. The tip current values and local ferrous ion concentrations were obtained. The inhibition efficiency of the inhibitors was investigated by weight loss measurements. When the inhibition efficiency was more than 85 %, scanning electrochemical microscopy and weight loss measurements were in good agreement.  相似文献

Abstract  

Methanol is used as a fuel in the direct methanol fuel cell. Direct oxidation of methanol encounters large overvoltages at most unmodified electrode surfaces. The development of new procedures for electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol to decrease this overvoltage is therefore very desirable. In this paper, we report a new zeolite-modified carbon paste electrode based on Ni-ZSM-5 for methanol electrooxidation. Nanocrystallites of ZSM-5 (Si/Al of 50) with average particle size of 58 nm were synthesized using clear solutions at low temperature (90 °C) under atmospheric pressure. Ni(II) ions were incorporated into the zeolite by immersion of the modified carbon paste electrode with synthesized zeolite in a 1.0 M nickel chloride solution. Cyclic voltammetry showed that by using nano-sized zeolite, the oxidation current increased compared with that of micron-sized zeolite crystallites.  相似文献

Glass transition characteristics and mechanical wave attenuation of the neat and filled styrene‐butadiene rubber (SBR) containing 10 wt % of rigid monosize polystyrene particles of various diameters from several hundred microns down to several tens of nanometers were investigated by dynamic mechanical thermal analysis, impedance tube, and ultrasonic spectroscopy. The results showed the matrix damping capacity and the breadth of glass transition increase by reducing the size of rigid particles due to the matrix‐particles interfacial area increase as the major governing parameter. Matrix glass transition broadening toward higher temperatures was attributed to the increased dynamic heterogeneity induced by fillers, whereas the damping capacity increase was assigned to contribution of interfacial friction loss mechanism. The proposed postulation was confirmed based on the calculated temperature distribution of the relaxing matrix volume fraction. Sound wave attenuation by the matrix and PS particles filled systems led to a broad absorption peak for the former and appearance of a secondary absorption peak at lower frequencies for the latter. Intensity of this secondary peak was highest for the system containing PS nanoparticles. Finally, ultrasonic attenuation enhanced by the PS particle size to wavelength ratio increase according to αsca ~ (d/λ)0.38 scaling law and declined by replacing the dense particles with larger hollow PS particles. Comparison of the normalized attenuation of the PS particle filled SBR in various mechanical wave attenuation regimes implied low sensitivity to particle size in vibration, mild differentiation in the sound, and finally severe differentiation in the ultrasound regimes. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Various proposed optical computing devices involve nonlinear optical operation and use semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA)-based switches as fundamental elements for logic operations. Due to the nonlinear operation, these devices suffer from high power that causes problems in very large-scale optical integration. In this paper, a method is proposed to implement arithmetic operations using a photonic crystal (PhC) cell and eliminate the SOA-based switches altogether. The proposed method is employed on designing an all-optical full adder/subtractor circuit that requires only beam combiners and photonic crystal NOT gates.  相似文献
