In the present study, five 4-aminophenol derivatives (4-chloro-2-(((4-hydroxyphenyl)imino)methyl)phenol(S-1), 4-((4-(dimethylamino)benzylidene)amino)phenol(S-2), 4-((3-nitrobenzylidene)amino)phenol(S-3), 4-((thiophen-2-ylmethylene)amino)phenol(S-4) and 4-(((E)-3-phenylallylidene)amino)phenol(S-5)) were synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and elemental analyses. The synthesized compounds were tested for their antimicrobial (Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and Saccharomyces cervesea fungus) and antidiabetic (α-amylase and α-glucosidase inhibitory) activities. All the compounds showed broad-spectrum activities against the Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538), Micrococcus luteus (ATCC 4698), Staphylococcus epidermidis (ATCC 12228), Bacillus subtilis sub. sp spizizenii (ATCC 6633), Bordetella bronchiseptica (ATCC 4617) and Saccharomyces cerevisiae (ATCC 9763) strains. The newly synthesized compounds showed a significant inhibition of amylase (93.2%) and glucosidase (73.7%) in a concentration-dependent manner. Interaction studies of Human DNA with the synthesized Schiff bases were also performed. The spectral bands of S-1, S-2, S-3 and S-5 all showed hyperchromism, whereas the spectral band of S-4 showed a hypochromic effect. Moreover, the spectral bands of the S-2, S-3 and S-4 compounds were also found to exhibit a bathochromic shift (red shift). The present studies delineate broad-spectrum antimicrobial and antidiabetic activities of the synthesized compounds. Additionally, DNA interaction studies highlight the potential of synthetic compounds as anticancer agents. The DNA interaction studies, as well as the antidiabetic activities articulated by the molecular docking methods, showed the promising aspects of synthetic compounds.  相似文献

This paper explores a nonlinear Cournot oligopoly with n firms displaying general isoelastic demand. The marginal profits-based gradient rule and the expectation rule Local Monopolistic Approximation were employed in two Cournot oligopoly games. Nash equilibrium stability analysis is carried out on each of the two games to throw light on the effects of demand elasticity and other parameters on the dynamics of the game. Our results show that the influence of demand elasticity on stability depends on firms’ expectation rules.  相似文献

The notion of penultimate subgroup of a fuzzy group is introduced. This leads to the concept of penultimate product of fuzzy subgroups. A detailed study of different notions of product of fuzzy sets in a groupoid is carried out. The ultimate superiority of Liu's set product is established. Level subsets and strong level subsets of these products are also analysed. Consequently, simplified proofs of some of the results on free product are obtained.  相似文献

All-solid-state lithium ion batteries (ASS-LIBs) are promising due to their safety and higher energy density as compared to that of conventional LIBs. Over the next few decades, tremendous amounts of spent ASS-LIBs will reach the end of their cycle life and would require recycling in order to address the waste management issue along with reduced exploitation of rare elements. So far, only very limited studies have been conducted on recycling of ASS-LIBS. Herein, we investigate the recycling of the Li7La3Zr2O12 (LLZO) solid-state electrolyte in a LiFePO4/LLZO/Li4Ti5O12 system using a hydrometallurgical approach. Our results show that different concentration of the leaching solutions can significantly influence the final product of the recycling process. However, it was possible to recover relatively pure La2O3 and ZrO2 to re-synthesize the cubic LLZO phase, whose high purity was confirmed by XRD measurements.  相似文献

In this article, we consider the problem formulation of dust plasmas with positively charge, cold dust fluid with negatively charge, thermal electrons, ionized electrons, and immovable background neutral particles. We obtain the dust‐ion‐acoustic solitary waves (DIASWs) under nonmagnetized collision dusty plasma. By using the reductive perturbation technique, the nonlinear damped Korteweg‐de Vries (D‐KdV) equation is formulated. We found the solutions for nonlinear D‐KdV equation. The constructed solutions represent as bright solitons, dark solitons, kink wave and antikinks wave solitons, and periodic traveling waves. The physical interpretation of constructed solutions is represented by two‐ and three‐dimensional graphically models to understand the physical aspects of various behavior for DIASWs. These investigation prove that proposed techniques are more helpful, fruitful, powerful, and efficient to study analytically the other nonlinear nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) that arise in engineering, plasma physics, mathematical physics, and many other branches of applied sciences.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new class of sets and a new class of functions called geodesic E-convex sets and geodesic E-convex functions on a Riemannian manifold. The concept of E-quasiconvex functions on R n is extended to geodesic E-quasiconvex functions on Riemannian manifold and some of its properties are investigated. Afterwards, we generalize the notion of epigraph called E-epigraph and discuss a characterization of geodesic E-convex functions in terms of its E-epigraph. Some properties of geodesic E-convex sets are also studied.  相似文献

Recently, significant advancement has occurred in vibrational (Fourier transform infrared [FTIR] and Raman) spectroscopy associated with dental materials. FTIR and Raman spectroscopies have emerged as significant breakthrough techniques and offer exciting new possibilities in the area of dental materials. These techniques have been used to obtain chemical images of formulations and allow researchers to find out the in situ structure of materials. This review summarizes the information obtained from these two techniques and their application in dental material sciences. The presented database of vibrational spectroscopy facilitated the appropriate identification of frequently used dental materials ranging from filling, obturating, adhesive, lining/luting materials, and prosthodontics materials. Spectral peaks that are related to these materials are discussed in detail, which provided crucial data in understanding the chemical structural properties. The application of vibrational spectroscopy allowed for a quick differential identification of typical dental materials composed of organic and inorganic compounds. From our study as well as the literature reviewed, it appeared that investigators uniformly confirmed the benefits of vibrational spectroscopy concerning identification of chemical functional groups of different chemical compositions. The diagnostic and prognostic tools based on these technologies have the potential to revolutionize our concepts leading to improve materials sciences and clinical application.  相似文献

In this paper we present the effect of low substrate temperature on structural, morphological, magnetic and optical properties of Ba-hexaferrite thin films. Films were deposited on single crystal Silicon (1 0 0) substrate employing the Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) technique. The structural, morphological, magnetic and optical properties are found to be strongly dependent on substrate temperature. The low substrate temperatures (room temperature to 200 °C) restrict the formation of larger grains. For the higher substrate temperature i.e., 400 °C, the grain size of the deposited thin film are much larger. The film grown at low substrate temperature do not show any anisotropy. As the substrate temperature is increased, the easy axis of the films alinged itself in the direction parallel to the film plane whereas the hard axis remained in the perpendicular direction. The higher substrate temperature caused the uniaxial magnetic anisotropy, which is very important in magnetic recording devices. The saturation magnetization and optical band gap energy values of 62 emu/cc and 1.75 eV, respectively, were achieved for the film of thickness 500 nm deposited at 400 °C. Higher values of coercivity, squareness and films thickness are associated with the growth of larger grains at higher substrate temperature.  相似文献

Using ladder operators for the non-linear oscillator with position-dependent effective mass, realization of the dynamic group SU(1,1) is presented. Keeping in view the algebraic structure of the non-linear oscillator, coherent states are constructed using Barut-Girardello formalism and their basic properties are discussed. Furthermore, the statistical properties of these states are investigated by means of Mandel parameter and second order correlation function. Moreover, it is shown that in the harmonic limit, all the results obtained for the non-linear oscillator with spatially varying mass reduce to corresponding results of the linear oscillator with constant mass.  相似文献
