QSAR studies on a series of inhibitors for anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 proteins based on BHI-1 were performed the activities are found to correlate well with some topological parameters and steric parameters. The results are critically discussed on the basis of regression data, Pogliani factor Q and cross validation technique. The results are found to be useful in discussing the mechanism of drug–receptor interaction.  相似文献

The aim of this letter is to present a model including the fundamental non‐equilibrium effects to predict the microstructure evolution during the rapid solidification of laser surface modified Al–O ceramic system to understand grain growth and the physical process involved during the treatment. The obtained data is then compared with the actual measurements from micrographs. This approach is novel compared to other work in the similar field which have looked at the process only at the macroscopic level that included the extractions of macroscopic features such as melt depth and width. Such study is important as laser surface modification can be extended to dressing of alumina grinding wheel material, a part of the Al–O ceramic system. (© 2007 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. Excess molar volumes (V m E ), viscosity deviations (Δlnη) and excess energies of activation for viscous flow (ΔG*E) are reported for non-electrolyte mixtures of 1,2-dimethoxyethane (monoglyme) and dichloromethane, trichloromethane, and tetrachloromethane at 298·15 K and at atmospheric pressure over the whole mole fraction range. The Prigogine-Flory-Patterson (PFP) model has been used to calculateV m E , and the results are compared with experimental data. The Bloomfield and Dewan model has been used to calculate viscosity coefficients, which are compared with experimental data for three mixtures. These results have been analysed in terms of dipole-dipole interactions between 1,2-dimethoxyethane and chloroalkanes. The magnitude of the strength of interaction decreases with the dipole character of the molecule.  相似文献

In the present paper, an attempt has been made to include the thermal effect into an isothermal equation of state using the Debye approximation representing volume as a function of pressure. The elastic behavior of stiffened struts of orthotropic composite material is investigated under an eccentric loading using displacement potential formulation. Solutions are obtained for different aspect ratios of the strut where the fibers are assumed to be directed along the axis of the struts. Solutions of stresses and displacements of boron/epoxy composite struts are presented numerically in the form of graphs. The effects of material orthotropy and different stiffeners on the elastic field are also investigated. Finally, some of the results of the present solution are compared with the corresponding finite element predictions, which, in turn, establishes the soundness as well as reliability of the present analysis of the composite struts.  相似文献

In this paper, the linear nonhomogeneous integral equation of H-functions is considered to find a new form of H-function as its solution. The Wiener-Hopf technique is used to express a known function into two functions with different zones of analyticity. The linear nonhomogeneous integral equation is thereafter expressed into two different sets of functions having the different zones of regularity. The modified form of Liouville's theorem is thereafter used, Cauchy's integral formulae are used to determine functional representation over the cut region in a complex plane. The new form of H-function is derived both for conservative and nonconservative cases. The existence of solution of linear nonhomogeneous integral equations and its uniqueness are shown. For numerical calculation of this new H-function, a set of useful formulae are derived both for conservative and nonconservative cases.  相似文献
