Plasma hydrophilization under various conditions was carried out on Ti substrates to investigate the effect of the applied parameters on the hydrophilic sustainability. The plasma was discharged from gases comprising Ar and/or O2 at various ratios using DC and RF modes. Notable differences in the surface morphology by the plasma conditions was hardly found, while the ratio of hydroxide on the surface was influenced by the discharge mode. The hydrophilicity was significantly improved regardless of the treatment conditions, that is, the gas composition and discharge mode. The deterioration of the hydrophilicity was occurred by storing in the ambient atmosphere or distilled water, wherein the deterioration in distilled water was suppressed when using DC as a discharge mode. The hydrophilicity was preserved when the specimens was stored in a physiological solution such as phosphate buffered saline solution due to the adsorption of Na+ and Cl in the solution; its effect was far superior to that contributed by the parameter settings. In conclusion, plasma discharge mode enabled to improve the deterioration of hydrophilicity only slightly.  相似文献

Laser nitridation of a pure iron (Fe) surface was conducted using a focused pulsed Nd:YAG laser under a nitrogen atmosphere, and the effects of nitrogen gas pressure, laser power, and repetition number of laser shots on the surface characteristics were analyzed using XPS. The laser-irradiated surface consisted of the topmost surface layer of Fe oxynitride (FeOxNy) and the underlayer beneath, which mainly comprised Fe nitride (Fe4N). The topmost surface layer is a post-formed layer due to the oxidation of the nitride layer. The thickness of the underlayer corresponding to the original nitride layer drastically increased under nitrogen gas at atmospheric pressure. Increasing the repetition number of laser shots enhanced layer thickness up to 5 shots, after which no change was observed. Moreover, the layer thickness increased monotonically with increasing laser power. Nitridation through pulsed laser irradiation was likely predominated by the melting and resolidification of a specific surface area, as well as the convection of nitrogen therein. Thickness variation under various conditions can be explained appropriately using this assumption.  相似文献

Michael-addition reactions of multi-functional acetoacetate, meso-erythritol tetraacetoacetate (ETAA), trimethylolpropane triacetoacetate (TPTAA), and diacrylate compounds, 1,4-butanediol diacrylate, 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate, 1,9-nonanediol diacrylate, or poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA), in dimethyl sulfoxide have successfully yielded the corresponding gels in the presence of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.5.0]undecane-7-ene as a catalyst at room temperature. The gel formation rates of the reaction systems with TPTAA were higher than those with ETAA. The gels prepared with the alkyl diacrylate compounds or low molecular weight PEGDA showed higher Young's modulus in compression test. The ETAA-PEGDA gels were also prepared in propylene carbonate containing Li ion or in an ionic liquid. These gels showed good ionic conductivity with conductivity value as high as 2.26 and 2.38 mS/cm at room temperature for the Li ion and ionic liquid containing systems respectively.  相似文献

Optical monitoring of neuronal voltage using fluorescent indicators is a powerful approach for the interrogation of the cellular and molecular logic of the nervous system. Herein, a semisynthetic tethered voltage indicator (STeVI1) based upon nile red is described that displays voltage sensitivity when genetically targeted to neuronal membranes. This environmentally sensitive probe allows for wash‐free imaging and faithfully detects supra‐ and sub‐threshold activity in neurons.  相似文献

Background  

Auditory sustained responses have been recently suggested to reflect neural processing of speech sounds in the auditory cortex. As periodic fluctuations below the pitch range are important for speech perception, it is necessary to investigate how low frequency periodic sounds are processed in the human auditory cortex. Auditory sustained responses have been shown to be sensitive to temporal regularity but the relationship between the amplitudes of auditory evoked sustained responses and the repetitive rates of auditory inputs remains elusive. As the temporal and spectral features of sounds enhance different components of sustained responses, previous studies with click trains and vowel stimuli presented diverging results. In order to investigate the effect of repetition rate on cortical responses, we analyzed the auditory sustained fields evoked by periodic and aperiodic noises using magnetoencephalography.  相似文献

Purpose

The purpose of the study was to evaluate the respiratory variation of the extrahepatic bile duct in morphology including shape, length and duct diameter on the breath-hold magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) obtained during deep inspiration and deep expiration in patients with or without biliary diseases.

Materials and Methods

This study included 102 patients with or without biliary diseases. Breath-hold MRCP was obtained twice during the end-inspiration and the end-expiration. MRCP images were evaluated for the length, maximal diameter and “bowing” of the extrahepatic bile duct.

Results

In the normal group, the mean maximal diameter of the extrahepatic bile duct was significantly larger on the end-inspiratory MRCP (8.0±2.0 mm) than on the end-expiratory MRCP (7.3±1.8 mm) (P<.0001), while it was not significantly different in the dilated group. In the normal group, 25 (39%) of 65 patients had an increase in the mean maximal diameter of more than 1 mm at the end-inspiration, whereas 4 (11%) of 37 patients in the dilated group had it. The bowing of the extrahepatic bile duct on the end-inspiratory MRCP was observed in 60 (92%) of 65 normal patients, while it was seen in 22 (60%) of 37 patients with biliary dilatation (P<.0001).

Conclusion

Deep inspiratory and expiratory MRCP demonstrated the respiratory variations of the extrahepatic bile duct in the shape (bowing), length and maximal duct diameter in patients with nondilated bile ducts. Awareness of this normal phenomenon will be important for the correct interpretation of MRCP in patients with or without biliary diseases.  相似文献

Room-temperature ionic liquids (RTIL, IL) are stable liquids composed of anions and cations. N-methyl-N-propyl-pyrrolidinium (P(13), Py(13), PYR(13), or mppy) is an important cation and produces stable ILs with various anions. In this study two amide-type anions, bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)amide [N(SO(2)CF(3))(2), TFSA, TFSI, NTf(2), or Tf(2)N] and bis(fluorosulfonyl)amide [N(SO(2)F)(2), FSA, or FSI], were investigated. In addition to P(13)-TFSA and P(13)-FSA, lithium salt doped samples were prepared (P(13)-TFSA-Li and P(13)-FSA-Li). The individual ion diffusion coefficients (D) and spin-lattice relaxation times (T(1)) were measured by (1)H, (19)F, and (7)Li NMR. At the same time, the ionic conductivity (σ), viscosity (η), and density (ρ) were measured over a wide temperature range. The van der Waals volumes of P(13), TFSA, FSA, Li(TFSA)(2), and Li(FSA)(3) were estimated by molecular orbital calculations. The experimental values obtained in this study were analyzed by the classical Stokes-Einstein, Nernst-Einstein (NE), and Stokes-Einstein-Debye equations and Walden plots were also made for the neat and binary ILs to clarify physical and mobile properties of individual ions. From the temperature-dependent velocity correlation coefficients for neat P(13)-TFSA and P(13)-FSA, the NE parameter 1-ξ was evaluated. The ionicity (electrochemical molar conductivity divided by the NE conductivity from NMR) and the 1-ξ had exactly the same values. The rotational and translational motions of P(13) and jump of a lithium ion are also discussed.  相似文献

The use of Pd catalysts that contained a carbene ligand, such as PEPPSI-SIPr, speeded up the Murahashi coupling of ArLi with ArBr, by enabling its integration with the Br/Li exchange of ArBr with BuLi in flow. Space integration realized the rapid cross-coupling of two different ArBr substrates. However, the cross-coupling reaction with vinyl halides could not be achieved under similar conditions. Pd(OAc)2 was an effective catalyst, and the space integration of the Br/Li exchange of ArBr with BuLi and the Murahashi coupling with vinyl halides was successfully achieved.  相似文献
