2-Aminobenzothiazole-6-carboxylic acid (1), on condensation with chloroacetyl chloride yielded 2-(2-chloroacetylamino)benzothiazole-6-carboxylic acid (2), which on amination with hydrazine hydrate yielded in turn 2-(2-hydrazinoacetylamino)benzo-thiazole-6-carboxylic acid (3). Compound 3, on condensation with various aromatic aldehydes afforded a series of 2-{2-[N'-(arylidene)hydrazino]acetylamino}benzothiazole-6-carboxylic acids 4a-h, which upon dehydrative annulation in the presence of chloroacetyl chloride and triethylamine yielded 2-{2-[3-chloro-2-(aryl)-4-oxoazetidin-1-ylamino]-acetylamino}benzothiazole-6-carboxylic acids 5a-h. The synthesized compounds 4a-h and 5a-h were screened for their antibacterial activity against four microorganisms: Staphylococcus aureus (Gram positive), Bacillus subtilis (Gram positive), Psuedomonas aeruginosa (Gram negative) and Escherichia coli (Gram negative). They were found to exhibit good to moderate antibacterial activity. The antifungal activity of these compounds were also tested against three different fungal species. A series of novel 5-benzylidene-3-(3-fluoro-4-yl-morpholin-4-yl-phenylimino)thiazolidin-4-one derivatives were synthesized using[bmIm]OH as a catalyst and were tested for their antibacterial and antifungal activities.These compounds showed moderate in vitro activities against the microorganisms tested.  相似文献

We study a two-band model of fermions in a 1d chain with an antisymmetric hybridization that breaks inversion symmetry. We find that for certain values of its parameters, the sp-chain maps formally into a p-wave superconducting chain, the archetypical 1d system exhibiting Majorana fermions. The eigenspectra, including the existence of zero energy modes in the topological phase, agree for both models. The end states too share several similarities, such as the behavior of the localization length, the non-trivial topological index and robustness to disorder. However, we show that the excitations in the ends of a finite sp chain are conventional fermions though endowed with protected topological properties. Our results are obtained by a scattering approach in a semi-infinite chain with an edge defect treated within the T-matrix approximation. We present exact numerical diagonalization results that extend our analysis to arbitrary parameters and to disordered systems.  相似文献

Can photocatalysis be performed without electron or energy transfer? To address this, organo‐photocatalysts that are based on atropisomeric thioureas and display lower excited‐state energies than the reactive substrates have been developed. These photocatalysts were found to be efficient in promoting the [2+2] photocycloaddition of 4‐alkenyl‐substituted coumarins, which led to the corresponding products with high enantioselectivity (77–96 % ee) at low catalyst loading (1–10 mol %). The photocatalytic cycle proceeds by energy sharing via the formation of both static and dynamic complexes (exciplex formation), which is aided by hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

Rotational vibrational fine structure and transition dipole moment of NO2 is measured using Doppler free saturation spectroscopy with an external grating cavity quantum cascade laser (QCL). The QCL wavelength is calibrated using a 310 cm long internally coupled Fabry–Perot interferometer. We obtain a frequency splitting of 139.68 ± 0.06 MHz (0.0047 cm−1) between the spin doublets (17) of 000 → 001 transition of NO2. The resolution of the QCL based saturation spectrometer is limited by the QCL linewidth of 3.99 MHz ( 0.00013 cm−1) deduced from the half width of the Lamb dips. The Lamb dip spectroscopy is utilized to obtain a vibrational dipole moment of 0.37 Debye for the (17) transitions.  相似文献

We demonstrate a cost-effective alternative employing the fragment-based molecular tailoring approach (MTA) for building the potential energy surface (PES) for two dipeptides viz. alanine-alanine and alanine-proline employing correlated theory, with augmented Dunning basis sets. About 1369 geometries are generated for each test dipeptide by systematically varying the dihedral angles and . These conformational geometries are partially optimized by relaxing all the other Z-matrix parameters, fixing the values of and . The MP2 level PES is constructed from the MTA-energies of chemically intact geometries using minimal hardware. The fidelity of MP2/aug-cc-pVDZ level PES is brought out by comparing it with its full calculation counterpart. Further, we bring out the power of the method by reporting the MTA-based CCSD/aug-cc-pVDZ level PES for these two dipeptides containing 498 and 562 basis functions respectively.  相似文献

Nanofibrous microspheres (NFM) are emerging as prominent next-generation biomimetic injectable scaffold system for stem cell delivery and different tissue regeneration where nanofibrous topography facilitates ECM-like stem cells niches. Addition of osteogenic bioactive nanosilicate platelets within NFM can provide osteoconductive cues to facilitate matrix mediated osteogenic differentiation of stem cells and enhance the efficiency of bone tissue regeneration. In this study, gelatin nanofibrous microspheres are prepared containing fluoride-doped laponite XL21 (LP) using the emulsion mediated thermal induce phase separation (TIPS) technique. Systematic studies are performed to understand the effect of physicochemical properties of biomimicking NFM alone and with different concentrations of LP on human dental follicle stem cells (hDFSCs), their cellular attachment, proliferation, and osteogenic differentiation. The study highlights the effect of LP nanosilicate with biomimicking nanofibrous injectable scaffold system aiding in enhancing stem cell differentiation under normal physiological conditions compared to NFM without LP. The laponite–NFM shows suitability as excellent injectable biomaterials system for stem cell attachment, proliferation and osteogenic differentiation for stem cell transplantation and bone tissue regeneration.  相似文献
