Variable temperature 2H NMR experiments on the orthorhombic phase of selectively deuterated NH3BH3 spanning the static to fast exchange limits of the borane and amine motions are reported. New values of the electric field gradient (EFG) tensor parameters have been obtained from the static 2H spectra of V(zz) = 1.652 (+/-0.082) x 10(21) V/m(2) and eta = 0.00 +/- 0.05 for the borane hydrogens and V(zz) = 2.883 (+/-0.144) x 10(21) V/m(2) and eta = 0.00 +/- 0.05 for the amine hydrogens. The molecular symmetry inferred from the observation of equal EFG tensors for the three borane hydrogens and likewise for the three amine hydrogens is in sharp contrast with the C(s) symmetry derived from diffraction studies. The origin of the apparent discrepancy has been investigated using molecular dynamics methods in combination with electronic structure calculations of NMR parameters, bond lengths, and bond angles. The computation of parameters from a statistical ensemble rather than from a single set of atomic Cartesian coordinates gives values that are in close quantitative agreement with the 2H NMR electric field gradient tensor measurements and are more consistent with the molecular symmetry revealed by the NMR spectra.  相似文献

NEW PHTHALOCYANINE PHOTOSENSITIZERS FOR PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:2  
Six new aluminum and silicon phthalocyanines have been synthesized and their photocytotoxicity toward V79 cells has been studied. The compounds that have been prepared are: AIPcOSi(CH3)2(CH2),N(CH3)2, I; AIPcOSi(CH3)2(CH2)3N(CH3)3+I?, II; CH3SiPcOSi(CH3)2(CH2)3N(CH3)2, III; HOSiPcOSi(CH3)2(CH2)3N(CH3)2, IV; HOSiPcOSi(CH3)2(CH2)3)3(CH3)3+I?, V; and SiPc[OSi(CH3)2(CH2)3N(CH3)3+I?]2, VI. Relative growth delay values for compounds I-VI and relative cytotoxicity values for compounds I, II, IV, V and VI have been determined. Compounds I and II have been shown to be comparable in photocytotoxicity to what is presumed to be AIPcOH.xH2O, and compound IV has been shown to have greater activity. The classes of compounds to which these six compounds belong appear to have potential for photodynamic therapy.  相似文献

The singlet ground ((approximate)X(1)Sigma1+) and excited (1Sigma-,1Delta) states of HCP and HPC have been systematically investigated using ab initio molecular electronic structure theory. For the ground state, geometries of the two linear stationary points have been optimized and physical properties have been predicted utilizing restricted self-consistent field theory, coupled cluster theory with single and double excitations (CCSD), CCSD with perturbative triple corrections [CCSD(T)], and CCSD with partial iterative triple excitations (CCSDT-3 and CC3). Physical properties computed for the global minimum ((approximate)X(1)Sigma+HCP) include harmonic vibrational frequencies with the cc-pV5Z CCSD(T) method of omega1=3344 cm(-1), omega2=689 cm(-1), and omega3=1298 cm(-1). Linear HPC, a stationary point of Hessian index 2, is predicted to lie 75.2 kcal mol(-1) above the global minimum HCP. The dissociation energy D0[HCP((approximate)X(1)Sigma+)-->H(2S)+CP(X2Sigma+)] of HCP is predicted to be 119.0 kcal mol(-1), which is very close to the experimental lower limit of 119.1 kcal mol(-1). Eight singlet excited states were examined and their physical properties were determined employing three equation-of-motion coupled cluster methods (EOM-CCSD, EOM-CCSDT-3, and EOM-CC3). Four stationary points were located on the lowest-lying excited state potential energy surface, 1Sigma- -->1A", with excitation energies Te of 101.4 kcal mol(-1) (1A"HCP), 104.6 kcal mol(-1)(1Sigma-HCP), 122.3 kcal mol(-1)(1A" HPC), and 171.6 kcal mol(-1)(1Sigma-HPC) at the cc-pVQZ EOM-CCSDT-3 level of theory. The physical properties of the 1A" state with a predicted bond angle of 129.5 degrees compare well with the experimentally reported first singlet state ((approximate)A1A"). The excitation energy predicted for this excitation is T0=99.4 kcal mol(-1) (34 800 cm(-1),4.31 eV), in essentially perfect agreement with the experimental value of T0=99.3 kcal mol(-1)(34 746 cm(-1),4.308 eV). For the second lowest-lying excited singlet surface, 1Delta-->1A', four stationary points were found with Te values of 111.2 kcal mol(-1) (2(1)A' HCP), 112.4 kcal mol(-1) (1Delta HPC), 125.6 kcal mol(-1)(2(1)A' HCP), and 177.8 kcal mol(-1)(1Delta HPC). The predicted CP bond length and frequencies of the 2(1)A' state with a bond angle of 89.8 degrees (1.707 A, 666 and 979 cm(-1)) compare reasonably well with those for the experimentally reported (approximate)C(1)A' state (1.69 A, 615 and 969 cm(-1)). However, the excitation energy and bond angle do not agree well: theoretical values of 108.7 kcal mol(-1) and 89.8 degrees versus experimental values of 115.1 kcal mol(-1) and 113 degrees. of 115.1 kcal mol(-1) and 113 degrees.  相似文献

Eighteen new fluorogenic analogues of organophosphorus nerve agents were synthesised and characterised. They included analogues of tabun, sarin, cyclosarin, soman, VX, and Russian VX, with the 7-oxy-4-methylcoumarin or 7-oxy-4-(trifluoromethyl)coumarin leaving group. These analogues inhibited acetylcholinesterase (AChE) effectively in vitro and therefore have potential as tools for the identification of novel organophosphatases in biological systems. Analogues of VX and Russian VX with the 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin group, although poor AChE inhibitors, may have utility for screening enzyme libraries for phosphoramidases capable of cleaving P-N bonds.  相似文献

The reduction of a variety of highly functionalized N-acylated dihydropyrazoles (1) with BH3 x pyridine is described. The process through which this unexpectedly difficult reduction was discovered and developed is reported. A facile atom-efficient route to the N-acylated dihydropyrazole reduction precursors (1) is also illustrated. The resulting acylpyrazolidine products (2) that arise upon reduction were isolated in good to high yields following exposure to reaction conditions which have been shown to tolerate a variety of different functional groups. Finally, this route has been demonstrated on a kilogram scale and provides direct access to potential proline surrogates for peptidomimetic applications.  相似文献

9,10,11,20,21,22-hexaphenyltetrabenzo[a,c,l,n]pentacene (2) and a dimethyl derivative (2m) were prepared by the reaction of 1,3-diphenylphenanthro[9,10-c]furan with bisaryne equivalents generated from 1,2,4,5-tetrabromo-3,6-diarylbenzenes in the presence of n-butyllithium, followed by deoxygenation of the double adducts with low-valent titanium. Both are bright red solids with a strong orange fluorescence in solution. The X-ray structures of these compounds show them to be the most highly twisted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons known. Compound 2 has an end-to-end twist of 144 degrees , and the two crystallographically independent molecules of 2m have twists of 138 degrees and 143 degrees. Both molecules were resolved by chromatography on chiral supports, and the pure enantiomers have extremely high specific rotations (for 2, [alpha]D = 7400 degrees; for 2m, 5600 degrees), but the molecules racemize slowly at room temperature (DeltaG++rac = 24 kcal/mol). Both the experimental geometry and the observed racemization barrier for 2 are in good agreement with computational studies of the molecule at a variety of levels. Attempts to prepare compound 2 by reaction of tetraphenylbenzyne with 9,10,12,13-tetraphenyl-11-oxacyclopenta[b]triphenylene (3, a twisted isobenzofuran) gave no adducts, and attempts to prepare tetradecaphenylpentacene by reaction of hexaphenylisobenzofuran (11) with bisaryne equivalents gave only monoadducts.  相似文献

We have explored in silico the potential energy surfaces of the C(5)Li(n)(n-6) (n = 5, 6, and 7) clusters using the Gradient Embedded Genetic Algorithm (GEGA) and other computational strategies. The most stable forms of C(5)Li(5)(-) and C(5)Li(6) are two carbon chains linked by two lithium atoms in a persistent seven membered ring capped by two Li atoms. The other Li atoms are arrayed on the edge of the seven membered ring. In contrast, the global minimum structure for C(5)Li(7)(+) is a bicapped star of D(5h) symmetry. The molecular orbital analysis and computed magnetic field data suggest that electron delocalization, as well as the saturation of the apical positions of the five-membered carbon ring with lithium atoms in C(5)Li(7)(+) plays a key role in the stabilization of the carbon-lithium star. In fact, the planar star sub-structure for the carbon ring are unstable without the apical caps. This is also what has been found for the Si analogues. The split of the B(ind)(z) in its σ- and π-contribution indicates that C(5)Li(7)(+) is a π-aromatic and σ-nonaromatic system.  相似文献

The potential energy surfaces of the Li(n)Si(4)(-) (n = 0-5) clusters were explored using the Kick Coalescence method. We found that, for those systems with n ≤ 2, the butterfly and parallelogram Si(4)(2-) kernels prevail as building blocks; however, when n ≥ 3, the Si(4)(4-) tetrahedral kernel, which is commonly found in heavier alkali monosilicides, MSi (M = Na, K, Rb, Cs), arises as the prevailing building block. In addition, by a natural population analysis (NPA) we found that the maximum charge transfer -4 from Li atoms to Si atoms is attained when n = 3. The addition of more Li atoms to the Si(4)(4-) system does not increase the charge transfer, but keeps it almost constant at the maximum value. We also calculated theoretical vertical electron detachment energies (VDEs) for low-lying isomers of the Li(n)Si(4)(-) (n = 0-4) clusters in order to facilitate their experimental identification.  相似文献

Reductive electrocrystallization at a constant current density (11.0–11.5 μA/cm2) of millimolar solutions of [M(bpy)3](PF6)2, where M = Fe, Ru, or Os, and bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine in acetonitrile containing 0.1M Bu4NPF6 results in the formation of dark crystals on the Pt cathode. The crystals grow as long, thin, and shiny needles having a hexagonal cross section of 0.1–0.5 mm in diameter. Combustion microanalyses results are consistent with the composition for [Fe(bpy)3], [Ru(bpy)3], and [Os(bpy)3]. In addition, the chromophores are conserved, as confirmed by recording both the electronic and the 1H-NMR spectra after reoxidation of the electrocrystals in humid air. The spectra are identical to those for authentic samples of [Fe(bpy)3]2+, [Ru(bpy)3]2+, and [Os(bpy)3]2+. A ratio of 2.0 ± 0.1 e?/molecule is observed upon completion of the controlled potential electrolysis of a solution of [M(bpy)3]2+, which results in the precipitation of a dark solid and the almost complete fading of the color of the original solution. Unexpectedly, the crystals do not exhibit an ESR signal. These data indicate the formation of novel materials, crystalline [Fe(bpy)3], [Ru(bpy)3], and [Os(bpy)3].  相似文献
