We experimentally demonstrate continuous-variable quantum teleportation beyond the no-cloning limit. We teleport a coherent state and achieve the fidelity of 0.70 +/- 0.02 that surpasses the no-cloning limit of 2/3. Surpassing the limit is necessary to transfer the nonclassicality of an input quantum state. By using our high-fidelity teleporter, we demonstrate entanglement swapping, namely, teleportation of quantum entanglement, as an example of transfer of nonclassicality. 相似文献

We successfully demonstrated low power penalty operation of a cross-phase modulated (XPM) wavelength converter using a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) power equalizer. Hexagonal Ca5(PO4)3F, known as natural crystal fluorapatite and oldest host‐crystal for Ln3+‐lasant ions, is presented as a Raman‐active material. High‐order Raman‐induced χ(3)‐nonlinear processes are discovered in natural crystals of fluorapatite under picosecond pumping at 1.064 μm and 0.532 μm wavelength. A multitude of Stokes and anti‐Stokes components is generated in the ultraviolet, visible and near‐infrared spectral region by stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) and Raman four‐wave mixing (FWHM), resulting in a frequency comb with a width of 520 THz. The spectral lines are identified and attributed to the ν1(Ag) vibration mode of the tetrahedral [PO4] units which is related to a Raman shift of ωSRS ≈ 965 cm−1. The first Stokes steady‐state Raman gain coefficient in the near‐infrared spectral range is estimated to be >0.38 cm·GW−1. Finally, a short review of SRS‐promoting vibration modes and observed χ(3)‐ nonlinear interactions in all known SRS‐active natural crystals (minerals) is given.

Ceria plays an important role in catalysis, due to its ability to store and release oxygen depending on the condition present in the catalyst environment. To analyze the role of ceria in catalytic reactions, it is necessary to know the details of the interaction of ceria surface with environmentally sensitive molecules. This study was conducted using ultra accelerated quantum chemical molecular dynamics. Its purpose was to investigate the reduction process of the (1 1 1) and (1 1 0) surfaces of ceria with atomic hydrogen as well as water desorption mechanisms from the surfaces. This simulation demonstrated that when a high-energy colliding hydrogen atoms are adsorbed on the ceria, it pulls up an O atom from the ceria surfaces and results in the formation of a H2O molecule. This is the first dynamics simulation related to such reduction processes based on quantum chemistry. 相似文献

Heat capacity measurements have been made down to 5 mK for 3He fluid films adsorbed in one-dimensional (1D) nanometer-scale pores, 28 A in diameter, preplated with 4He of 1.47 atomic layers. At low 3He density, the heat capacity shows a density-dependent, Schottky-like peak near 150 mK asymptoting to the value corresponding to a 2D Boltzmann gas at high temperatures. The peak behavior is attributed to the crossover from a 2D gas to a 1D state at low temperatures. The degenerate state of the 1D 3He fluid is indicated by a predominantly linear temperature dependence below about 30 mK. 相似文献

A direct patterning method of dielectric BaTiO3 (BT) films is proposed, which applies laser-induced pyrolysis in combination with nano-crystalline seeding technique. A precursor solution of a BT complex alkoxide containing BT nano-crystalline particles with polyvinylpyrollidone (PVP) as dispersion stabilizer was spin-coated on Pt substrate. An Ar+ laser beam was focused and scanned on spin-coated BT films, which induced pyrolysis and crystallization of the films with spatial selectivity. Micropatterns were obtained by striping laser-unirradiated regions on the films with HCl aqueous solution. Raman spectra of the micropattern confirmed that the structures were tetragonal crystalline BT. Clear micropatterns with a line width of ca. 3 μm and an interval of 5 μm were formed at PVP concentrations of 25 and 50 kg/m3. The dielectric constant and dissipation factor of the film fabricated at a laser energy density of 27 MW/cm2 and a scanning speed of 25 μm/s attained 76.2 and 0.07, respectively, for a measurement frequency of 100 kHz. 相似文献
