A novel focusing mirror based on the shifting of the beam phase according to the Gaussian beam optics enabled us to realize a focusing elements with different focal lengths in different directions and to convert the gyrotron output into a Gaussian-like beam. A simple pre-irradiation procedure for the separation of iodine from soil has been developed. A soil sample was heated in a quartz tube for 15 min at about 900 °C. The evaporated iodine was collected in activated charcoal, which was produced from phenol resin with low impurities. The charcoal, with sorbed iodine, was irradiated by neutrons and the128I produced was measured. A successful elimination of the background radioactivity due to the matrix elements was possible with this separation procedure. The detection limit by this method for soil samples was about 0.1 mg/kg (dry). The method has been applied to analyze selected soil samples. 相似文献

High-level ab initio calculations are carried out to study the relative stability of the two hydrogen bonded structures of water-hydrogen sulfide complex, one with water as the proton donor (A) and the other with hydrogen sulfide as the proton donor (B). ZnS films have been deposited on glass substrates by close-spaced evaporation (CSE) technique. The films were grown at different temperatures in the range, 200-350 °C. The layers have been characterized with X-ray diffractometer (XRD), atomic force microscope (AFM), energy dispersive analysis of X-rays (EDAX) and optical spectrophotometer to evaluate the quality of the layers for photovoltaic applications. The studies showed that the optimum substrate temperature for the growth of ZnS layers was 300 °C. The films grown at these temperatures exhibited cubic structure with nearly stoichiometric composition. The AFM data revealed that the films had nano-sized grains with a grain size of ∼40 nm. The optical studies exhibited direct allowed transition with an energy band gap of 3.61 eV. The other structural and optical parameters such as lattice stress, dislocation density, refractive index and extinction coefficient were also evaluated. The temperature-dependent conductivity measured in the range, 303-523 K showed a change in the conduction mechanism at 120 °C. The activation energy values evaluated using the temperature dependence of electrical conductivity are 7 and 29 meV at low and high temperature regions, respectively. 相似文献

The influence of 70 keV He+ ion implantation and subsequent annealing of Cz-indium phosphide (InP) samples has been investigated using a slow positron beam-based Doppler broadening spectrometer. Three samples with ion fluences of 1 × 1016, 5 × 1016 and 1 × 1017 cm−2 were studied in the as-implanted condition as well as after annealing at 640 °C for times between 5 and 40 min. It was found that the line-shape parameter of the positron-electron annihilation peak in the implanted layer increases after 5 min annealing, then after longer annealing times it starts to decline gradually until it reaches a value close to the value of the as-grown sample. This implies that vacancy-like defects can be created in InP by He implantation followed by short-thermal annealing at T > 600 °C. Comparison of the results with a study where cavities were observed in He-implanted InP has been carried out. 相似文献

Influences of oxygen exposure on the magnetic properties of Co/Ge(1 1 1) ultrathin films have been investigated by surface magneto-optic Kerr effect technique. As the oxygen exposure increases on Co/Ge(1 1 1) films, their magnetic properties could be modified. As an example for 15 ML Co/Ge(1 1 1) films, the coercivity increases from 730 to 920 Oe and the remanence Kerr intensity is reduced for 500 Langmuir (L) of oxygen exposure. Corresponding compositions analyzed by Auger electron spectroscopy measurement shows that the amount of oxygen on the surface layers increases with increasing the oxygen exposure time. Oxygen distributes on the topmost layers of the film. The adsorbed oxygen influences the electronic density of states of Co and results in the changes of the magnetic properties. Besides, the appearance of O/Co/Ge interface could modify the stress anisotropy, and as a result the coercivity of ultrathin Co/Ge(1 1 1) film is enhanced. 相似文献

Using a simple vapor phase transport technique, we have fabricated unique complex disk-shaped ZnO microstructures comprising
a small disk coaxially grown on a large one and observed spatially perfect six-fold symmetric patterns. The observed results
can be explained based on the spontaneous nanoindentation (NI) effect under the geometric constraints and the explanation
can be extended to fathom the growth mechanism of other highly symmetrical ZnO nanostructures. Our results indicate that NI
not only can elucidate the mechanical properties of surfaces and thin films but also is an effective approach to fabricate
ordered nanostructures with high precision on the location of the building blocks.

This paper proposes a model for the parametric representation of linguistic hedges in Zadeh’s fuzzy logic. In this model each linguistic truth-value, which is generated from a primary term of the linguistic truth variable, is identified by a real number r depending on the primary term. It is shown that the model yields a method of efficiently computing linguistic truth expressions accompanied with a rich algebraic structure of the linguistic truth domain, namely De Morgan algebra.
